Bids for Reece Wabarba, Gary Mackay-Stephen and Max Clayton have been placed.

Believable44 Unbelievable49

If we can sign them 3 young very talented players, we will have one of the best teams in champo if i'm honest. The team is already half decent jus need youth and exuberance! COME ON YOU WHITES

Agree4 Disagree0

Tag on chris forester to that list, and with the three we already have I for one would be well excited for the mighty whites over the next couple seasons, it's been along time coming, I have supported Leeds since I was six, Iam fifty this year and the last ten years or so have been painful.

Agree2 Disagree1

Reece wabara sounds a great player but I think if we gave lee peltier a chance at rb and push byram to rm we would need a solid cb and use Pearce as backup max clayton and Mackay steven will be fantastic signings. MOT. We're going UP

Agree1 Disagree1

No chance with max

Agree0 Disagree0

Would be happy with any of those 3, young & up and coming players, would really excite us fans.

Agree1 Disagree0

If we are going to get a defender, I'd rather get a taller and more experienced CB than Wabara.

Agree1 Disagree0

I posted about Clayton a while back, hopefully Murphy has told bri all about him

Agree0 Disagree0

Whats so good about Clayton? rather give the lads in our own youth set up a go. Poleon, Walters and Parkin. Claytons been given a lot of chances by Creeand not shown out special really has he? And reading reports on Walters and Parkin and seeing Polean play, we have cracking potential up top.

Adam le fondre will be leeds next signing. Will join up with squad in slovenia within the next 48hrs. On a down side leeds face strong competition for man city youngster reece wabara as half the championship want his signature.

Believable25 Unbelievable62

Isnt Le Fondre going to Hull

Agree2 Disagree2

Le Fondre is a fan, maybe your mate only had half the story right.

Agree0 Disagree0

Le fondre won, t be coming to us.

He hasn't due to his shoulder injury. He's just started running

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jul 2013 09:01:33
while wanara remains tight lipped don't think we are in for him think his dads stirring up interest

Agree0 Disagree0

So what we are an attractive club building for the future, why shouldn't he come to Leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds won't be able to afford his wages.

Agree0 Disagree1

Le Fondre supports Man Utd

Just finished an interesting conversation with a Leeds fan, who I've not been in contact with for years. He apparently knows someone from LUFC press office, who say we are about to sign a player from Port Vale. but the trouble is, there's a potential headache to sort out for the press team as this guy is a Manchester United fan. sounds like the aim is to play this down and make light of it in the media. Tried Googling "Port Vale player Manchester Utd fan" but no luck. Anyone any ideas. plus could you cope with a Manchester United fan playing for us?

Berty

Believable8 Unbelievable41

Matt mills linked with us is a Manchester United fan but he plays for bolton. one of his heros is a mr e. cantona

Agree1 Disagree0

*cough* Gary McAllister

Agree1 Disagree1

Tom Pope would be the only player port vale have who would be getting watched by clubs in a higher league.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tom Pope?

Gerry Mc

Agree0 Disagree0

Come on mate half our kids team wet dream at the thaught of watching play

Agree1 Disagree0

Ermmmm. Adam Le Fondre is a big Manchester United (if you'll pardon the expression) supporter and nobody seems to care if they have noticed.

It really doesn't matter. We do some missionary work on any Man U supporters among the players, explaining politely but firmly that there's only one United and they play in white.

Problem solved! :D

Agree0 Disagree0

Tom Pope is manchester utd fan league 2 top scorer

Agree1 Disagree0

Why would been a Man U fan make a difference? And we've have Man U fans play for us before doesn't make a difference, clearly chatting s***

Agree2 Disagree0

Tom Pope striker from port vale

Agree0 Disagree0

Jennison Myrie-Williams plays for Port Vale and supports them!

Agree0 Disagree0

A native of Stoke-on-Trent, Pope grew up as a Port Vale supporter. [64] He is an accomplished amateur golfer, having reached the quarter-finals of Stoke-on-Trent's Sentinel Shield competition. [65] He wears contact lenses. [66] He is a darts fan. [16]

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course it doesn't matter. the love for your club is always more important than hate for another. I couldn't care less what team players support if they get us promoted

Agree0 Disagree0

First reply here it is ALF whos the Manchester United fan not matt mills sorry guys

Agree0 Disagree0

What a stupid thing to say. Being a man U fan should have no bearing at all

Agree0 Disagree0

We’ve already got a Manchester United fan playing for us. Simon Lenighan. And that’s true!

Agree0 Disagree0

. Question is how many Manchester United Players are Leeds United fans?

Agree0 Disagree0

Aaron lennon was a big Manchester United fan

Agree0 Disagree1

Aaron Lennon's brother was a Man U fan, he wasn't

Agree0 Disagree0

I couldn't give a damn which club any of our staff habitually support. Jack Charlton is a life long Newcastle supporter (for very obvious reasons) and that didn't prevent him being the linchpin of Revie's team for 20 years. I don't think that his commitment to the white shirt was ever questioned. PK

Agree1 Disagree0

Paddy Kenny is a Manchester United fan.

Agree0 Disagree0

Santa is a Leeds fan, Santa is a Leeds fan. Doesn't stop him making the occasional trip to Surrey to drop off ugly Manc shirts for the good little home-counties plastics

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont u think that regardless of who a player likes to dream of playing for or supports. If he joins Leeds Utd its the fans support and affection for him that will easily turn him into a true loyal white. Only we can achieve that!

Agree0 Disagree0

Its Tom Pope

Agree0 Disagree0

What a ridiculous and, if you'll forgive the directness, childish question. These guys are professionals, for Chrissakes; who they supported when they were kids, and what they get up to now in their own free time is their own business. All I care about is whether they are good enough; and the bottom line for them is their own performance. End of. Chapel A

Brian Macs big signing is James McCarthy from Wigan

WhiteroseLU

Believable11 Unbelievable69

Another Central Midfielder?

Berty

Agree0 Disagree1

We'd have to cough up £10m for him buddy, not likely! Not the best anyway tbh

Agree0 Disagree1

Not a chance.

Agree1 Disagree0

James mccarthy in championship when everton said they would pay 10million if fellani sold

Agree1 Disagree0

Haha where did we get 15m for him out of because it sure as hell don't grow on trees.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 mill LOL omg overpriced him or what lol

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jul 2013 07:58:59
Funny how 10 mil has jumped to 15mil in 3 comments lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Funny how someone said he's not great when he's quality!

Agree0 Disagree0

Not the best tbh? you're right, i'd stick with brown and tonge, forget the accomplished premier league and international player

Agree0 Disagree0

Let's not forget Forsell was an accomplished international and premier league player!

Agree0 Disagree0

Roque Junior was a Brazilian International when we got him in. That didn't exactly work out, either.

I heard off a good source there is meant to be some American investment coming in pretty soon, paying £13 million up front.

He also has said money isn't a issue signing players it's just there wages.

Believable32 Unbelievable29

I heard something alone the lines of this the other day

Agree0 Disagree1

Been rumours of incoming investment for weeks/months, but nothings happened.

Agree0 Disagree0

American company have announced plans to buy Hearts. Could this be what you heard?

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope this has wings

Agree0 Disagree0

These things can take time.
Again, predicting that we're signing a sponsorship deal including naming rights, hinged on the purchase of Elland Road.
Wouldn't be surprised if Pappa Smurf was the owner of Elland Road. Must be some reason he was made club President.
It's a decision that would be a bit like Hu Jintao becoming president of Europe.

McDermott wishes to bring Reading's Mikele Leigertwood to Elland Road. MOT

Believable19 Unbelievable40

That's virtually all the Reading team that McDermott want then!

He fell out with him a week b 4 he left so obviously not going to happen

My mate L woods is good mates with and lufc player not travelling, was in the gym yesterday and player said if u bench 150 I'll giv u some inside info. He did. And was told that lufc have booked tickets for 46 staff flyin out, and 47 coming home. Someone will be linking up with team this week. Mot

Believable23 Unbelievable28

Explains why we we've gone all the way to Slovenia, why else would they have gone there.

Either that or Hall is linking up with them out there?

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jul 2013 17:59:08
and sam byram has joined them on tour.

Agree1 Disagree0

Sam flew with them though, I doubt Hall is linking up either because his wife is due to give birth and I doubt he'd leave for a couple of days after his baby is born. That'd mean even if she popped now he'd have missed nearly the whole tour.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your mates mate must have been Sam Byram pulling his leg.

Agree0 Disagree2

So how is the 47 getting out there in the first place!

Agree0 Disagree0

Itrust this is through Monarch

Agree0 Disagree0

Benching 150 must be some boy

Agree1 Disagree0

To make allowances for all the extra baggage bought in Slovenia.

McDermott is playing "waiting game" with Bolton and Matt Mills transfer. May be wise, trust he knows what he's doing - but I hate the silence. we're in desperate need of a big boss central defender!

Believable27 Unbelievable11

Let bolton keep matt mills and we should hijack craig dawson (wba)
from under boltons noses

Agree2 Disagree0

Since when has mills ever been a big boss at any club? he's a slug

Agree1 Disagree0

Mills should be grateful we, re if rumours are true intrested in him.

ALF will not be joining Leeds fee to high and he was miffed at the amount off playing time he got under Brian at Reading Be4, I'd have any poster a £100 IOU bet no alf at Leeds this summer

Challenge accepted!

bmd not looking at kevin mcdonald anymore looking at jamie murphy from blades instead. quick winger can play up front if need

Believable7 Unbelievable30

Terrible season at blades not even close 2 championship standard

Agree0 Disagree0

He is that good he as joined Torquay. Trevo

the brother of a good friend of mine is a football agent. He has said that Leeds and Ipswich are both in for Djimi Traore of former Liverpool fame. They are both seeking to release him from his contract at Seattle Sounders and bring him back to Europe. 33 now but versatile, athletic and experienced. Can play LB or CB. Would people be happy with Traore?

Believable8 Unbelievable60

No.

StevenLufc

Agree0 Disagree0

Sounders won't let Traore leave he's been solid for them and he enjoys it there, no chance of him leaving. If there's a Sounders player that should come to Leeds it's Ozzie Alonso without a doubt

Agree0 Disagree0

Ozzie Alonso, that name fits in with all the other crazy names we've had over the last few seasons :)

Kilkenny
Snodgrass
Pugh
Odea
Poleon

Agree0 Disagree0

Traore can, t see that deal happening, thankfully!

Agree0 Disagree0

Poleon what is wrong with that name? nothing

Tommy Rowe will not be signing for Leeds. Peterborough will not sell him after selling Gayle, Darragh Macanthony and a P'boro journalist have both said so.

Believable33 Unbelievable19

" Darragh Macanthony and a P'boro journalist have both said so. "

Oh well, it MUST be true then!

(by the way WHO are THEY?)

Agree1 Disagree0

Why did Barry Fry make it all public about Leeds interest in the player then if he was not trying to put him in the shop window?

Agree2 Disagree0

Tommy Rowe is still on the transfer list at Peterborough due to only having a year on his contract so he is for sale. Have you noticed only Darra McAnthony, Barry Fry and Peterborough Journolist's keep mentioning Rowe and Leeds interest. We have never officially declared an interest, also it would appear they are simply trying to ramp up his price and get other clubs involved. Palace fell for it over Gayle by spending to much on him, but the summer is a long time, let them sweat.

Agree0 Disagree0

What he actually said was that they don't need to sell him, doesn't mean that he isn't for sale anymore. The player wants to move on, i'd say it seems like its up to us to get him if we want him!

Charlie brown

Agree0 Disagree0

Darragh McAnthony is the peterborough chairmqn so I think he would know

Agree0 Disagree0

In my opinion as soon as they get some more players in (p'boro) they will start to lower their price expectations for rowe. I think he will be a last days of the window transfer to whoever puts a bid in for him.
Fry has shot himself in the foot trying to drum up silly offers.

Agree0 Disagree1

"Darragh McAnthony is the peterborough chairmqn so I think he would know"

Ah, thank you for that, shows how little I know about Peterborough then (or how little I care for that matter - lol!)

Leeds to confirm the signing of Adam Le Fondre and Lucas Leiva this week

Believable18 Unbelievable80

Lucas. HAHA.
DO YOUR JOB ADMINS! {Ed013's Note - Whats your problem? Its a rumour not a guarantee! However unbelievable it is, its better than the Smith, Beckfords and Messi rumours, Admin ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Lucas Leiva? What planet are you living on?

Agree1 Disagree0

ALF yes, Leiva I don't think is up to the standard. Dpont think he would cut it in the Champioship, IMO of course.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely this should b in dodgy rumours?

Agree0 Disagree0

No its really not better than the beckfords or smiths rumours. lucas would cost atleast 10 mill so this rumour is pathetic

Agree0 Disagree0

I will have any poster a £100 IOU bet Alf doesn't join Leeds this summer

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw 27 potential new signings at Farsley on Saturday and 4 of them were Jermaine Beckford. BTW you are doing a great job ED

Gerry Mc

Agree0 Disagree0

I'll have a pint of what you have been drinking! I think you left out Ronaldo and Messi
