Long time (we are talking years here haha) reader of this site/ blog) , thought I'd finally join in!

Lyon fans seem to think we have Cornet (linked/ mentioned previously) coming over, based on a private plane from Lyon to Leeds the other day. however, somebody I follow on twitter who seems to have some form of info (he's usually about 80%ish right, so it's not a forgone conclusion) claims it won't be him, but somebody else from Lyon that might upset their fans (as they were very excited about offloading Cornet it seems haha) .

I'm just taking a stab that we might be looking at a couple of their midfielders. I've nothing to solidly go off here, but perhaps it's Bruno Guimarães or Maxence Caqueret.

Both young central midfielders, with good engines and passing ability. Both can play as a 4 or an 8. Caqueret interestingly is out of contract next summer and the French leagues are a bit skint over that new TV deal (or lack of one) . Another Orta bargain maybe?

As mentioned, part of this is purely speculative and it could all be nothing, but thought this is the best place to pop it! :)

Apparently midfield is the next priority for Orta so this could well be true.

Cheers Alf! Been following your posts for a while so thought I'd get in on the action haha.

I'll keep my eyes peeled, but the majority of what you pop on here is usually the same stuff I see.

Definitely think Ligue 1 could hold the key to our CM/ LW targets if a few bargain buys are available.

Yes its been touted as a possible hunting ground due to the financial stresses there but time will tell if we end up getting anyone.
