Leeds won't sign anyone on loan until October as the 93 day loan rule means they will be gone by mid December (if we sign them now), just before the Christmas period where we play 4/5 games.

Are we back to the Bates era?

Dont mean he won't get them now
Once u have them u can extend the loan can't u? {Ed013's Note - Not until the window}
I think at this moment in time, If we got a loan player he could stay till December 10, yes that would mean the player would miss the Christmas rush off games but from now to December will make or brake our season, and u could always go out and loan again, not that is see Brian doing that. I think we will do a loan deal be4 next home game
Would'nt it be prudent to sign loan players when the window opens, whether or not based on the 93 day rule. if we sign a loan player now, and we need them for december + beyond, we just extend the loan period. at least then, we have the player, rather than wait and wait, when less players are wanted by more teams, looking at doing exactly the same thing about the 93 day rule. let's be leaders not followers! mot
93 day loans are for the eventuality of finishing in the playoffs, with the player joint in the emergency loan window in February. We are going up automatic, so it doesn't matter!

Or just sign them on loan for the season.
You can't that's why its called emergency loan window

leeds to sign striker Johan Voskamp on loan from sparta rotterdam alond with robbie wier, david the costa and former rangers center back madjid bougerra on loan from burton, zurich
Yeah, and Messi is coming on a free transfer in January.
Seeing as you can't make overseas loans in the emergency loan window why bother making stuff up about this Sparta lad?
crmd
The Messi joke is getting a bit old now, also immature.
Johan Voskamp has just signed for Sparta Rotterdam, he is 28 and not a 'young prospect' so why would the loan him out?

Leeds considering bringing Max Gradel back to the club on loan.
PLEASE PLEASE NOT AGAIN!
Max Clifford would have more credibility!
LUFC KEK
Why better players than him out there

Better players than gradel to come to Leeds on loan? Do tell!
Original poster . someone is telling you untruths, in other words lies, and you appear to be gullible to believe them. Max Gradel is NOT coming back to Leeds United Football Club . he has said as much so time to get over it and move on.
JDC
We can consider all we like, fact is they won't loan him out
Bored of reading this one. Keeps popping up every week
Ones who didn't turn there backs on Leeds for so called better football and money Gradel not even on subs bench at St etiene.
Bangs head against nearest brick wall.
Im pretty sure the reason Gradel hasn't been in the St Etienne Squad is because he suffered a Knee injury at the end of last season and has been out for 4 months. Plus around a month for recovery. It has nothing to do with his ability or "money grabbing"

Gradel just come back from injury prob not fully fit yet and he is a very good player and I for one would love to have him back . so come on guys let's not get bitter
Give it a rest lads PLEASE!!
PeteMOT
As said before gradel won, t be coming back unless we reach the premier league.
Agree with most posters, just won't happen. I appear to be in a minority of Leeds fans in not wanting him anyway. Many have short memories about this guy which means the legend is far greater than the reality. This was the guy who very nearly cost us getting out of Lge 1 v Bristol Rovers. He was a decent player alright but reading what many say about him, you'd think he's on a par with Messi! Give it a rest boys, he ain't coming and if he did I'd wager he'd be a major disappointment anyway.
Surely you mean Gradel and Beckford!
I don't like to moan on this rumour page, but heard this Gradel rubbish a thousand times, do me and lots of other fans a favour and knock it on the head now please!
There's no way we could afford him unless we were in the Prem. He isn't coming back. Why would they sell him/let him out on loan? I'd love him back but it won't happen. Anyone saying they wouldn't want him back given the opportunity need a straight jacket.
