Bellusci rumoured to be going back to Italy. Best move for all concerned I think. He's very erratic to say the least. Hopefully we can secure another centre back quickly if he goes - Hobbs or Moore rumoured

Agreed. However, if he goes we are truthfully going to need 2 central defenders because as it stands our depth only stretches to Cooper. Don't think you can rely on Scott Wooton for jack.

2.) 26 Aug 2015 06:28:34
If Bamba keeps up his impressive record of one booking per game, we will need crazy horse Bellusci. Although he worries me, he's much better than Wooton. Then again my dog is much better than Wooton.

MM

wotton was one of 4players on kings cross train at 6pm with they bags . no clothes full of booze . he is the only one left other three now gone

4.) 26 Aug 2015 07:56:10
Bamba is fine, Cooper is just about ok against sides who show no real attacking ambition( eg Reading, Sheffield Wed; Wooton - can't see any justification in him being in the squad. Belusci for all his quirks is good - not as solid as Bamba but the best of the rest. If he goes we need a replacement - or two. Whilst he is potentially very good Moore is still not the finished article and still has a few bad days whilst Hobbs also has had his ups and downs. It will be difficult to predict whether any of these potential signings will create the stable pairing at the back we are looking for. We could spend money and still be not be much better off.Without spending a lot more cash than we have bringing in this level of quality/experience is a bit of a shot in the dark.Cooper/Wooton are not the answer. It will be interesting to see what Cellino and Rosler conjure up.

5.) 26 Aug 2015 08:44:09
Bellendusci is far from the worst we have, bit erratic but very passionate and is good cover.

6.) 26 Aug 2015 10:33:41
To his credit he does seem more disciplined this season (although we aren't far in). If he went and we managed to buy Moore and a more prestigious winger I would take that.

Wooton is a utility, run until the end of his contract type player. Not worth the pay off.

Does anyone know if the Limbombe deal is on?

7.) 26 Aug 2015 12:05:41
There is a lot of bad vibes about Bellusci but if he goes he will be badly missed.

It takes time to learn how to play in the championship which hopefully he has done now. So far this season he has been one of our best defenders and made very few mistakes, unlike the much loved Bamba.

The man is a very clever defender and to those people who think Cooper is better need to study both players a bit closer.

Cooper is slow and completly left footed and still needs to gain experience playing at a higher level, and will still only be a sub should we find a replacement for G B IF HE LEAVES.

I see Mings has got away with stamping on an opponents head (causing him to have hospital treatment) because the referee saw the incident and didn't see the need to take action. If it had been Jannson or Cooper they would no doubt have faced a lengthy ban.
And people wonder why we have a siege mentality. The football authorities really are corrupt.

Absolutely Clarke. No consistency at all, especially when LUFC are involved.

2.) 04 Feb 2019 18:43:56
Clarke 1-0 When did this first come to your attention? LMAO. Two names for ya. First is Sepp, second Blatter. Football or soccer as it is also known is the sport which involves the most amount of money in the world. It's number 1. Where's there's gambling and bribery opportunities, there's going to be unfairness and corruption.

3.) 04 Feb 2019 18:57:51
Captain Cooper got a 6 match ban for doing similar to what Mings did, Krul isn't being charged for the incident with Bambam either. Speaking of Krul, we're not Barcelona 😂🤣😂.

4.) 04 Feb 2019 19:06:38
Seems quite farcical that a player can commit what the police and courts would consider ABH, but because it happened on a football pitch and the ref is incompetent, the football authories will not (generally) take any action. If a so-called fan did the same inside the stadium or elsewhere they could be looking at up to a five year stretch and very large fine. The football authorities need to get their priorities right and sought this out and other stuff like honest Ollie 'Daley' Watkins and his ilk - rather than get their collective knickers in a twist over 'Spygate'.

5.) 04 Feb 2019 19:28:19
Mings, Krul, Watkins, the list goes on, but a man on a public footpath watching a team train, well that really is worth a full investigation.

6.) 04 Feb 2019 19:34:42
Mongs apparantly Went to villa to learn from Terry
Working wonders already.

7.) 04 Feb 2019 20:07:04
Someone must make a challenge on the inconsistency of the football authorities, how can one club player be banned and another club player not get anything, this wouldn’t have in law, so it shouldn’t happen in football.

8.) 04 Feb 2019 20:17:23
Loving the siege mentality. Nice one Richie😂.

9.) 04 Feb 2019 22:43:07
Speaking of ABH, if Reading had the balls they could ask the cops to look into it. I'm seem to remember drunken Duncan getting sent down for some misdemeanor on the pitch in Scotland.

Anyone else fallen foul of LUFC's decision not to use the away tracker for Stoke tickets? My son and I have been to 11 away games including Millwall and Norwich and missed out this morning. So much for loyalty! Happy New Year Leeds United. It wouldn't happen anywhere else.

At least it gives some other people a chance of going away.

What the feck is going on - yet again!
Despite all the rhetoric from SE, our esteemed president now says that there will not be any more signings in the current transfer window. Then we read that Sol Bamba has been told he can leave. No wonder he wasn't around for the game on Tuesday night. Oh - then it would appear Antenucci could be on his way.
Just when things look a little more promising we are slapped in the face again.
And we've had our ups and downs - not many ups to talk about. Lose on Saturday and another season slips by.

it's lucky that we have sufficient mid-fielders in order to line up on Saturday with our new formation of 3 - 7 - 0.

2.) 27 Jan 2016 21:59:25
Clarke mate why oh why would u believe the daily blah (can't see Newcastle buying a 31 year old with no prem exp and Sunderland just bought a 26 yr old ch so why would they either?

Also I don't believe much of what MC says, esp to sky, he prob fed them bs and to put clubs off guard a bit when neg for players.

It might all be true but I doubt mate, just press stories again, let's see what actually happens by Monday and then judge but not before.

3.) 27 Jan 2016 22:03:21
Lol PLAB. Sadly true.

Just been re-reading a report from earlier in the week in which Steve Evans is quoted as stating that he was confident of adding to the group by Saturday evening after the Sheffield Wednesday game. Have I missed something?
Maybe we have been waiting for the Byram deal to be done and dusted.
He says we need three or four more players to improve the quality of the squad. Not sure where we are going to get them from.
I know it's a cliche but we need to strengthen the spine of the team - GK (after yet another abject display from Sylvestri) , CB, CM (creative) , ST.
Unfortunately by the end of January our season could be over and we could end up having to stave off the possibility of relegation. Hope not but I've drifted back into the realms of pessimism again.
Not unusual but getting fed up of it.

Worrying times. New found optimism (again! ) after Cardiff and Huddersfield results has disappeared yet again after last two results. The results are bad enough BUT it's the manner of the performances which are most worrying. We don't seem to have any pattern of play, we always seem to be struggling on the ball, lack composure, don't have a natural predatory goal scorer and are always prone to defensive errors. Much as I hate to say it, at the moment we are real contenders for the drop unless someone can wave a magic wand in January. Steve Evans may not be the most popular choice for head coach (is he a good coach anyway? ) but he needs some help from above and most importantly from those who are chosen to wear the coveted white shirt.
THEY NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND START PERFORMING BOTH INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY.
Come on boys - time to sweat blood for the cause.
MOT.
