Not a player transfer rumour this one but just wondering if anyone saw the article in yesterdays YEP that divulged some information about GFH Capital borrowing or moving some funds around in conjuction with a Dubai based business. I couldn't seem to make sense of it anyone have any info?
1.) Yes. David Haigh borrowed some funds from another company he is a Director of and deposited it with GFH. Maybe it's Bates' leaving bonus. JD
2.) Yorkie, yep you are correct. BUT, before you get all excited it appears it was a loan from a company who has its base in the British Virgin Islands, and whose registered office IS in the same Dubai building as GFH.
And if that wasn't co-incidental enough one of the directors of said company is one David Haigh.
On the face of it - this just confirms that they don't want to invest - lots of rumours going around its takeover time again!

More like a loan from a ken bates company to keep the cancer in the loop of the club we will never get rid of him from our beloved club until he has liquidated us as he once said he would
4.) It's a consolidation of GFH loans nothing to do with not wanting to spend
5.) What possible reason is there for a transfer embargo?

Further to federici post also morrison back to millwall has been highlighted

4.) Morrison could still be a big player for us, if he has a good pre season. Look at Ross first year. I think because it was a Warnock signing a lot off people are jumping on the band wagon. If he gets anywhere near his best a lot off people will be eating humble pie. Brian mc will give him a full pre season and every chance

8.) Love all these football experts writing Morison off after 15 games, most of which were played under a manager rapidly running out of ideas. There were loads of fans writing off Becchio before last season started too and he scored 19 goals by January. I know. just to keep the misery mongers happy, let's hope Mozzer scores 19 goals for us by January then gets himself a transfer to a Premiership club. You can have a good grumble about that then eh?

Just seen in the sky transfer talk we should be lining up a move for Federici
1.) Must be true then, almost as reliable as the bun and the snail.

He is a midfielder and a pretty decent one at that still young though big gap from lg 2 to champ
In my opinion as soon as they get some more players in (p'boro) they will start to lower their price expectations for rowe. I think he will be a last days of the window transfer to whoever puts a bid in for him.
Fry has shot himself in the foot trying to drum up silly offers.
I agree 5mil hard to resist but 3mil would be silly to let him go for that as palace would probably end up selling him to city or that red lot for 10mil
