Just heard on tv, from BMcD, that quote " it's proving to be difficult that deal, so at some point one has to move on" asked if has moved on BMcD " not completely" in this particular deal its a "club to club" issue, the "club" doesn't want to sell the player, the player and his agent thought they were in a position were the player was going to be sold, that's not proven to be the case.

Watching the interview BMcD clearly looked frustrated with the situation

Defo T Rowe, The problems are they have a Chairman who has got cash and willing to spend it, I'm not saying our isn't. And they sold there striker for nearing 6 million. I really hope we can get the deal done, But they ( like we did wi Beckford) realise they can't buy a better player than Rowe with the money. That in turn would harm there chance off Promotion. Unfortunately I can see Mcanthony and Fry digging there heals in and we may have to move on

Do we really want another lower league player? We have far to many already!

Sign some premier league talent for a change, West Ham and Newcastle did when they were in this division.

Sign some premier league talent! 'Oh how I laugh'. didn't Harry do that at QPR and they all turned belly up. So he's now gone out and signed Charley Austin who is proven in Championship and has fire in his belly. Personally I don't believe a Prem player dropping down a league will have the desire to scrap week in week out. Been there done that and now can't be bothered is the normal attitude. And you think differently?

The difference is Newcastle and west ham had the money to buy premier league and we just . Its annoying I suppose we will bide hopefully invest in some you talent and be back up there right were we belong

To be honest McDermott did not look happy I think there is something going on in the behind the scenes, lack of investment or something, I don't like to be downbeat and I am aware we've had a few good results recently but we will never get out this league without substantial investment the likes of big dogs like QPR, Reading, Notts Forest you get my point, unless we find a good investor get used to good players leaving and getting replaced with cheapskates!
