Cellino has told Sly Sports that he will walk away if the FL does not allow the takeover.

I think he is being smart by not saying anything to upset them at this point.

1.) 10 Mar 2014
Does anyone have a decent idea (not an uneducated opinion) of how this will pan out with the Football League and the approval process?
Does it look like Cellino will lose his court case thus making it impossible to pass the Fit & Proper Person Test, if so, what will that mean for Leeds?
My fear is that he will lose the court case, walk away and leave us with GFH who could take us back into Administration.
Not sure about anyone else, but I am worried that we could really be in deep trouble here.
Maybe we should do some digging into the FL Board to understand whether they are Fit & Proper to pass judgement.
Worried Rob

Think he is calling the FL's bluff and publicly handing total responsibility for the fate of Leeds United football club back onto the shoulders of the Football League. Could be checkmate and game set and match to our new owner. Now we will find out whether or not there are more chickens at FL's HQ than on the Elland Road pitch on Saturday.

3.) 10 Mar 2014
What I do know for a certainty is Friday IS the big decision day from the FL, before you ask it is in the Italian press. MOT

4.) 10 Mar 2014
I hope I'm wrong but I did say two months ago that we were in danger of going into administration and I got slated. if that happens we will be back in league one.god I hope I'm wrong and it works out for us we are due some good news. Mot

If the FL turn Cellino down there are ways using David Haigh, his family & Elanora Sports to get round. Make David Haigh MD of Elanora Sports Ltd, Massimo Cellino has very small or no share holding in Elanora Sports. He then makes gifts to his family which they invest in Elanora Sports Ltd (as majority share holders). If necessary Massimo could make loans to Elanora Sports Ltd as well.
Massimo and his family then sit in Miami and instruct David Haigh and provide finance through Elanora Sports Ltd. With David Haigh as CEO at LUFC and MD of Elanora Sports how could the FL prove Massimo is running things? Massimo and his family could then visit Leeds to see their friend David as and when they want. Wouldn't have to fight FL!
David Haigh leaving GFH suggests something is going on!

And the Italian press would know because why?

7.) 10 Mar 2014
If Cellino does NOT pass fit & proper test by FL
I personally will show my backside in the LUFC shop window!!

8.) 10 Mar 2014
Get ready to show your backside in the shop window, are you going to do it on a matchday, mate

9.) 10 Mar 2014
You have failed the fit and proper test my friend but it made me laff

I don`t know if Ed will post this, but this is the article.
CAGLIARI - That began today is a week that could be critical on three fronts, in some way related to Massimo Cellino. Everything revolves around the formalization of the transfer of ownership of 75% of the Leeds United in the hands of the anchor (not for long anyway) Cagliari president. Decision by the English FA, waiting for weeks, but that will come in the evening of Thursday evening (or at most Friday) unless the GFH (which holds 25%) has not delivered the documents requested by the federation. The crux of the delay is attributable to this fact. On the source Massimo Cellino (from news coming from Yorkshire, the region where Leeds), the situation is in order. To him they were requested documents in two tranches. Documents that through Eleonora Sports LTD, Cellino has readily provided. Proof of this is the fact that the two sons of Massimo Cellino, Edward and Hercules, are already planning the future of the club, who on Saturday was defeated 5-1 at home by Bolton, and tomorrow night is engaged in midweek (always at home) with Reading. "I appreciate what you're doing the FL, it's nice that they are so thorough. I just hope they do so with everyone because in the past it had not happened. If I were to reject I would go. Appeal I would not, go back to Miami to spend time with wife and children. Anyway I do not think that there are those who can manage this club better than me, "he said yesterday at the British newspaper" Sun "Cellino that if he purchased 100% (but not so permitted by a foreigner) Leeds would be his at least a month.

It must be said that the GFH FA asks for clarification on passage made: in fact it is shares changed hands from one person to another and then return in a few months in those who had changed hands. Leeds property needs to be clarified one thing. The fact that Massimo Cellino has already made a transaction of approximately EUR 20 million (in the form of loan) to pay off debts (unpaid wages to players and staff, rental of the stadium Ellan Road) does not mean that the GHF, generous group of Bahrain, do not have money. It does mean that you are tired of subsidizing a club of English B, among other things, even in a big city. Proof of this is the fact that the GFH intends to acquire Valencia in Spain. A deal that costs about 350/400 million euro. Figure is not insignificant for a company that has about 200 million Euros in debt. But, as Cagliari and Leeds, has a stage property. In the case of Leeds Cellino has already made a fidjussione in a bank in London for 15.7 million pounds (19 million euro at the exchange rate) for the acquisition of the stadium Ellan Road. Surety that the anchor to all effects Cagliari president, could also guarantee for Valencia, always in optical acquisition stadium property. But the time for the operation-Valencia by the GFH seem even longer. This, however, is another matter. That inherent in Cagliari has scheduled this week the second leg of the interest of the American fund (which for some can see behind the same Cellino, albeit in a marginal situation) for the construction of Sant'Elia stadium. On Monday, the first meeting was judged very positively by the mayor Massimo Zedda. The two representatives of the American consortium (Monday evening) were then met with Massimo Cellino, who returned last week to Ledds in half, to take stock of the situation. Between today and tomorrow in common there will be a second meeting with two representatives of the American Fund. Probably even this top-secret (not open to reporters and cameras), but which will, according to rumors confirmed, the presentation of the project stage. A plant that has managed to {the italian press}.it be 30,000 spectators, also usable for the concerts: this ball of the same Cellino and not just because the band has "Maurilios." Last year at Is Arenas in fact there was a survey of managers by Jovanotti to see if there could be the possibility of a concert in July. Then we all know what happened to the stage of Is Arenas Qaurtu.

So the new priority Sant'Elia stadium without a shopping center, but livable seven days a week and not only in the two hours or so of a football game. The times are beginning to be quite tight, because we need to accelerate beyond the decision of the Football League to bring in a minimum of 16,000 spectators in a stadium is not the first band. The St. Elias in this state is a defeat for all. We do not enter into the merits of those who are the blame for this situation (even though we have very clear ideas on our part) but it is certain that a company that plays in Serie A may not have provided a structure to say the least obsolete, as well as it is certain that a city like Cagliari, which aims to be European Capital of Culture in this race with other cities, may not exhibit the Sant'Elia as a business card. That Sant'Elia who twenty years ago had housed the Inter front of nearly 50,000 spectators, in the semifinals of the Italian Cup, and now can not make people get between 5000 Curva Nord (half-closed) and Sector Yours.

The construction of a new stadium, would lead almost certainly to the exemption for 16 spectators at Is Arenas, not forcing the club to return to Trieste for the fourth time between 2012 and 2014. But Is Arenas, which can be put back on track in no more than a month (according to the technicians in three weeks everything would be ok) will revert to the center of attention if and only if, at the same time we will be ok for the construction of the stadium. Essential in order to make the leap, which is headed by no more Cellino but another group, perhaps with behind the petrodollars Qataris taken from that seem to have put aside. They look like .

{Ed003's Note - That should clear everything up,now can you stop reading Italian websites lol.}

No probs ed, can´t read Italian, but can read spanish though : - )

{Ed003's Note - good man :) }

12.) 11 Mar 2014
Do you really think that David Haigh quitting his position with GFH is just a coinsidence? This looks like the "just in case" Plan B being put into operation. Haigh moves to Eleonora Sports next? let's wait and see. But I think that there is more to this than meets the eye.

13.) 11 Mar 2014
Look the FL saw fit to allow Ken Bates (The well known tax exile) to take charge of Leeds, Is Cellino any worse, there shouldn't be any problems with his takeover.
