I know this sounds obvious but we need an Abramovic to take us over, not a supporters trust if we are going to get back to where we feel we belong. It's strange to me that some on here seem to want a period of stability even if that means staying where we are. I can only assume these people are a lot younger than me.

I am getting too old to wait much longer for the good times to return.
I really don't understand why no multi/multi billionaire isn't interested in a one city massive club like ours, because if they came in and made us great again they would be idolised by thousands.

I agree but we are probably seen as a poisoned chalice so not very attractive.

I agree; but to a true billionaire we would be seen as potential for the future not the (agreed) poison chalice we are now. Hence the need for a Russian Oligarch with oil money to get rid of. Maybe a young Putin offspring needs to invest abroad before the coup. I don't care if he has Mafia connections so long as he has LUFC running thro his veins. At least he would know a way to get rid of Bates and GFH, I am thinking horses heads here. Where else could you buy a Premiership club for Championship money?

A Multi Billionaire/Millionaire Will want to do things his way and that's the way it should be as he puts up the money chooses how it's used, However there are those who believe that they should T/O the club then throw more money at it and then shut up sit back and let others decide how it's spent! Not a chance nowadays! If whoever comes in and succeds will be popular enough without having to worry as to how the fans react! MC Should've just got on wit and did it his way, if he failed guess what he's unpopular, Succed and he's more than popular! IMHO anyway!

Whilst this isn't Germany where single ownership is illegal and this isn't Spain where teams such as Barcelona and Real Madrid are owned by supporters I am excited by the opportunity for fans to purchase shares.

The time it takes for Leeds Fans United to raise the necessary funds and for the sale negotiation to be completed will probably dictate the chance of a single buyout being successful.

At present I don't see this as a priority. 3 points tomorrow is priceless for confidence and what little momentum we could take with us through the games in November.

Do we really think this is a good idea LFU taking over I mean let's face facts and the big question where would they have the money to buy Leeds 2 how would they pay players wages and then January transfer window in 2 months would they have the funds to buy players Portsmouth did this and are struggling to get out of league two . we don't get 70.000+ fans at a game like big clubs in Germany . your looking at ticket sales and money from the Leeds store and then sponsers and still may struggle. But one good thing can come of this guys like Mike Farnan who's was given he's backing to LFU could buy big shares if my memory is correct don't Arsenal have 2/4 shareholders that could work . but yet one more hurdle MC was in London today and was in talks with another businessman for a takeover of Leeds united who is he what's he worth and will he outbid LFU? This great club for years has been a laughing stock for one poor owner to the next and first real guy that came in MC turned the club around stopped the club from kissing money and turned us into a profit and spent money with haven't seen since before we was relegated to the and we turn our backs on him get be himd him . yes he hires wrong managers and sacks to many but he is a winner and wants to win . we all make mistakes his are not paying tax yet he can still help this club.
