I personally think all the people who travel to watch Leeds from all over the place, and the fans who travel to all the away fixtures show the rest of the championship teams up.I can't afford away games but I do go to all the home games. what does tend to tee me off a bit though is how can a city like Leeds which has 750,000 inhabitants only manage to get 4% (at best) of those inhabitants to come to Elland Road. Youd think with a population of our size wed sell out every game?

Only a certain percentage will be sports fans

of tht percentage only a percentage will be football fans

only a percentage will be leeds fans

only a percentage will be able to get to elland road every week

theres a lot of variables involved its not as simple as ''big city big crowd''

Agreed there is a great deal of variables but football is the largest supported game in the UK bar none I still think 4% is poor

Lets see, total attendance Prem to BSq South last season around 1.5m. Pop of England and Wales 56m that's about 3%. looks like we're above average at 4% then!
