I'll add my two penneth to the lack of signings debate. With the same players we currently have on our books now, we had one of the best starts to the season that I can remember last season. Now if bub can get us playing like that but add a bit of steel and belief when we do go behind then we may not lose confidence so early in the season. We've got two better keepers so they'll save more goals. Ayling back fit and hopefully in the form he showed when the snake was in charge. A proper lb in the form of tp. Hopefully the Pontus we knew and loved back heading bricks. A handful of promising youngsters coming through the ranks. With a couple of last minute additions to the first team then it doesn't look as bad as Wex et al make out, does it? Or am I just being my usual too optimistic pre season self?

Everyone keeps saying about last minute additions etc, granted its not the last minute yet but we can't get the ones we want. Reportedly Bielsa has a list of targets but one by one they go elsewhere.

Was just thinking the same thing AL. The number of names being bandied about is ridiculous right now, and likely to be 90% inaccurate. With Bielsa's links, I really think that fringe players from Man Citeh and Tottingham, and similar clubs will be coming in. Just my optimistic gut feel, or tonight's curry. will let you know in the morning.
