Billy Sharpe has got his starting place for Saturday after Modine was red carded. Ayling and co will need to be very disciplined, no silly rash fouls, Sheffield seem to get their care share of penalties. Not really bothered what Norwich do but need to better or match Sheffield Utd s results. Would take a draw.

1.) 13 Mar 2019 09:40:43
Mezzer, a match for cool heads and that’s not going to be easy. Fans need to be fervent and patient as well. Sheffield will want to restrict and frustrate us. Their game against Brentford showed how good they can be defensively and still be dangerous on the break. Be interesting to see how Sheffield play it, do they settle for a point and hope to make up the gap in the other games or do they go for the three. A draw would seem to be less of a problem for us than them. Big Psychological advantage to go into the break in the top two positions.

2.) 13 Mar 2019 10:42:45
I'm still wondering how Brentford never managed to get a penalty or two 😉.

3.) 14 Mar 2019 09:09:08
Why did we not hold onto Billy Sharpe?

4.) 14 Mar 2019 18:40:01
He couldn't handle the pressure at Leeds 😁.

5.) 15 Mar 2019 08:26:44
Al, he only scored a handful for us I think (Barn Door Billy 2) . He was rumoured for a few seasons then when he came to us he flopped big time. I was really looking forward to his arrival as I thought he was brilliant. In regards to the result on Sat. I think a draw would be a real disappointment for us. This is one we should win. To be honest if we can't beat them on Saturday we will struggle as we have basically the same run in, but teams seem to give an extra 20% when they are playing us and the refs probably give the the same 20% more decisions to the other teams. 3-0 on Sat and then another 15 points on the run in will do us very nicely I think. MOT.

Same starting team and bench for WBA game, not a surprise to anyone surely! Will be watching with family who are all Baggies fans so iam in for a fun filled night. Just know that the little rat Dwight Gayle will get his customary goal against us. As we find it hard to keep a clean sheet i guess we going to need to score at least twice to get anything from this game, sadly can't see our current personnel, s form where those 2 goals will come from.

1.) 28 Feb 2019 17:14:56
Keep the faith Mezzman 🙃.

2.) 02 Mar 2019 07:30:28
Mess, bet ya family night was great 4 u mate 👍😁.

3.) 02 Mar 2019 08:03:29
Guys, never so happy to be wrong! What a great night, certainly a very joyous family gathering (for me, lol. ) .

04 Jan 2019 13:48:38
Is it true that Douglas now out injured for awhile?

1.) 04 Jan 2019 17:43:39
unfortunately yes.

2.) 04 Jan 2019 19:42:49
Muscle injurie.

01 Jan 2019 14:12:02
Same team today, not sure after the Hull game we are doing Philips any favours playing him a centre back, thought he would bring in Aalpo. Hope the players can return the faith Bielsa has in them, we need them points today.

31 Jul 2018 22:26:22
Marcus Maddison has a 2.5 million release clause in his contract, come on Radz get this deal done before we hear he is off to Derby or some other club! No excuses!

1.) 31 Jul 2018 22:56:31
Where would you play Maddison with the acquisition of Harrison?

2.) 01 Aug 2018 09:45:06
Left midfield. Play Harrison on right where he is equally adept and he'll cut inside. Nightmare for defenders. They could also possibly alternate wings in the second half if Maddy was game.

3.) 01 Aug 2018 16:06:54
Imagine this, Maddison and Harrison wide in midfield being supported by Ayling and Douglas as full backs? I think that is enough to scare the sh1t out of any championship defence.

4.) 01 Aug 2018 16:19:25
Yeah and bam bam a known striker at this level .

5.) 02 Aug 2018 06:34:38
You so right LIG.

6.) 02 Aug 2018 13:52:10
That would be immense Lucas!

If Bielsa is to move on then I hope it gets sorted quickly. Personally if we did lose him (and I hope he stays) then I would like to see Chris Houghton at leeds. The guy has a good track record in the championship.

1.) 21 May 2019 09:50:24
Mezzer has Bermo borrowed your sign on?

2.) 21 May 2019 10:42:30
yeah and the other bloke who said KP was terrible I am practially a paid poster ATM.

16 May 2019 15:25:24
Visited my GP's surgery today (nothing to do with needing medical intervention from last night) . Our nurse practitioner a lovely lady, and does a great job, is a big Derby fan. She was just parking her car in the car park. She drives a big white four wheel drive with Derby stickers in the back window and RAM on the personal number plate. I shouted over to her that I get she was a happy person today! She replied yes with the result but not with my first visit up to Leeds. She then showed me her car that had been keyed quite badly down both sides. Came out of the stadium to find this and spit all over my car. Never want to visit that place again she said. All I could offer was an apology on behalf of our club and to say that most Leeds fans were decent people. Shames me that we have some morons in our club, no matter how upset they were at the result last night, doesn't justify this kind of behaviour, if this is acceptable then I am out.

1.) 16 May 2019 15:56:43
Bang right Mezzer. The UK as whole has some horrible people, which is why I left. Society is almost as screwed as our promotion chances this year!

2.) 16 May 2019 16:46:11
Well said Mezzer and brightly, stupid behaviour that doesn’t help the club or city. Win gracefully and lose gracefully! Not as if they stole it from us, came with a plan, stuck to it and it worked!

3.) 16 May 2019 16:53:08
Always bad to hear these stories, does our reputation no good whatsoever. Unfortunately there are idiots everywhere these days.

4.) 16 May 2019 16:53:15
It's not acceptable Mezz but all clubs have nob ed followers and I could tell you a few tales about Derby fans that would horrifying, she got off lucky.

5.) 16 May 2019 17:50:31
It was an accident, I'm sorry!
I was very drunk and couldn't help leaning on the car. My jacket has metal buttons, which explains the scratches. I also have a very, very bad cold which explains the flem!
Once again, very sorry! 😉.

6.) 16 May 2019 20:35:55
Poor taste, sorry danum. While I have no love for derby county football club this lady is just a fan who is passionate about her team, like fans up and down the country. Absolutely no excuse for the vandalism. If someone had done this to your car or a family members iam sure you would be rather pissed off. But anything in the name of football rivalry seems to be acceptable. Not done in my name or hopefully my teams!

7.) 16 May 2019 20:59:11
Mezzer were around in the 70s and 80s it was like a war zone at some of those games i'm surprised they weren't more deaths, damaging peoples property or any kind of assault is nothing but a cowardly act of vandalism and violence, fortunately this is now rare but you will always get few idiots following any club.

8.) 16 May 2019 21:23:34
I don’t see the point you’re making mezzer. Leeds have some scumbag fans? I left London to get my family away from these kind of people. But let me tell you there are these people everywhere. You should keep away from Liverpool though. Joke ed1.

9.) 16 May 2019 21:59:13
My point is Cork, as much as I love Leeds Utd and as hard as that result was to take, when does it become acceptable to treat a rival or their property in this way. I am not stupid enough to think that this doesn't go on with other teams but just disappointed it's happened in Leeds. Maybe iam just old and expect better.

10.) 16 May 2019 22:46:49
Principles, and morals Mezzer. You’re totally correct. They’re gone in many places, with many families, and many parts of society. Sad really.

11.) 17 May 2019 00:21:30
Take a chill pill Mezzer, it's only a car for God's sake. Some tosser ran into mine last year while parked at a shopping centre then effed off.
Cost two grand to get sorted. These things happen.
I wouldn't even have a Leeds sticker in my car never mind having a number plate advertising the fact for fear of some scumbag vandalizing it.
Some people don't have the sense they were born with! 😵😵.

16 May 2019 07:00:08
Football is ultimately a game of failure scattered if we are lucky with the occasional period of glory.
A bit like life we need to enjoy the good times as heartbreak and tough times are a part of it.
As for the play-off final good luck to both Villa and Derby, but very shortly one of them will be feeling how we do today.
We can study this season with hindsight now on what or where it went wrong, hopefully the people making the decisions can rectify the obvious factors whatever they may be and attempt to to put them right or make way for others to try.
One thing for sure is as disappointed as us fans are the majority if not all will continue to support our team!

1.) 16 May 2019 09:38:25
dissapointment is when we back leeds more because that's when the team needs us, any idiot can follow barac but leeds is a proper team with proper fans

if we learn with our youth the futur can be very bright

need perspective this was a poor league for the taking and we didn't take it when we should off

so we dust ourselves down, learn and move forward, i worry MB is too stubborn to learn in which case for me he has to go for someone who gets english football

this league don't need money, look at cardiff, norwich and sheff, it needs an understanding of english football and an ability to win poor games with poor football and a style that can cover for average players (like cooper) .

i think MB could come back stronger, i also think someone like chris hoton might be the answer if not.

2.) 16 May 2019 11:20:09
As an earlier poster pointed out, the club has a big history of not taking opportunities when it has had them, so it’s not just this group of players. We could have bought more expensive players and still ended up where we are now, nobody knows! Some call it fate, some call it losing the bottle or poor management and tactics.

If we expect everyone else to change perhaps us fans should change as well. Judge the season as a whole, look at and relish the positives and the improvements and not pile the pressure on ourselves. 3rd place and playoffs is good if we build on it, the playoffs this year included, one club relegated last year and two other clubs that were in the playoffs last year. We think of ourselves as a huge club, but in recent years on performances we haven’t been. We need to keep getting up where we’ve been on a regular basis until it happens. Lots of good stuff, lots to build on, best year for ages!

15 May 2019 21:43:04
We all suspected that would happen. Typical leeds. Hope I never see Bamford or Cassila in a Leeds shirt again. Only Dallas can hold his head up from this. Bielsa run out of ideas!

1.) 15 May 2019 21:45:27
go away bamford was one of our only decent players tonight, let's blame the manager for playing beradi, beradi for being beradi, phillips for being the slow being ever to walk the planet, besalia for having the man management of ted bundy and leeds for not listing to me all season.

2.) 15 May 2019 21:53:41
Bermondsey; you for real? Bamford aweful.

3.) 15 May 2019 21:54:40
Agreed on Bamford and the keeper .

4.) 15 May 2019 21:59:25
Carp. I liked your post for the first sentence Bermo. Should’ve read the rest before hitting the button.

14 May 2019 22:52:38
So it's Smith and his bunch of whinging cheats if we get through tomorrow. Should be all the incentive we need now to beat Far Frank's mob.

Confident we will get him, unless the player himself doesn't want to come. Bielsa wants this lad and I can only see Radzs and co backing him.

Well said class, our fans can really make a difference. Pressure will definately be on us but Norwich won't want to drop points to us so will be a close game. I just hope our defence can be tight and we don't start by giving them a goal start. They are a more settled side from the team we played at their ground. The longer we stop them scoring the more frustrated they will be, I can see a few tough tackles going in. Needs a good fair ref!

George you just know we will sell Clarke, we always seem to sell below the players true value but get quoted silly money for most British based players we try to buy. We are a selling club, even seen KP now linked to Norwich. Are we back to being a feeder club for them.

Time we realise that we are a selling club and I expect us to sell several of our team this summer. It is what we do, but sadly we let players leave for way below the prices we get quoted for players we want to get in. I am happy to let the players move on that express the desire to go.
Leeds are and will only ever be a business to Radz, not doubting his passion but his love of Leeds Utd do not run as deep as that of a fan, his is about money. And when the time is right for him, he will also move on. Whatever the truth is about why Daniel James move to Leeds broke down, we have now missed the boat as he will end up a Man u. As good as our season was, team investment could have been better imo.

Pontus, thinks he's better than he is. Let him go for the right money. For all his badge kissing, I'm Leeds through and through he is no different to any other player who will move on for a better deal. Not forgotten how he went missing with his so called injuries when needed during the TC period.

Agree Notts about the spy gate fiasco ultimately having a major effect on our promotion push. It turned a lot of the football world especially them most in the media against us. Teams raised their game against us, we were everyone's cup final. The Bamford incident against Villa ultimately cost us against Derby in play offs last night, what could and should have been a penalty for the push in the box on Bamford was seen as simulation again. Yes there were other factors, small squad, injuries and lack of investment in the transfer window also playing its part.
