Burnley reportedly interested in Klich and will assess him throughout the season for a possible move in the summer.

Can’t afford him

He’s Leeds now

He didn’t quit on us when he could have

Can’t see him looking to move now.

Radz has told Popey that he has no intentions of selling the club this season, but he is actively pursuing fresh investment.

alftupper

1.) 12 Sep 2019 15:46:19
What about after this season though?

2.) 16 Sep 2019 12:21:18
Radz continues to speak about the 5 year plan so that suggests the next 3 years after this one.

08 Aug 2019 15:54:59
Pearce has signed for Wigan on a permanent.

Ryan Nolan and Facundo Colidio deals arte also off. Radz decides that paying for players to actually join the club is too much of a risk and announces that his aim is to sell all of our players and contest with a team entirely made up of loans in future unless we can get youngsters for free and then sell 'em for a fat profit.

alftupper

1.) 08 Aug 2019 18:31:10
Alf totally agree but Kinear recons Roofe and Pontus out and two replacements in White and Nketiah is like for like except we got approx 13m for our two leavers and we got 2 players on loan who if we actually get promotion (and of course I hope we do) these two players will cost us the earth if we decide to keep them.
Personally I would rather have the Nolan kid and spend an extra 5m to get him in.

06 Aug 2019 14:24:49
Sources reporting we have put in a £7m plus-add-ons offer for Kent.

alftupper

1.) 06 Aug 2019 22:25:34
theres a lot to the Kent thing now alf alright, think it has a pair of legs now . Who is going to be the winger to get moved into a more central direct role do you reckon?

2.) 07 Aug 2019 06:27:51
Could be anyone of Harrison Costa Hernandez and hopefully Kent 1 all interchangeable with bogusz I think could play number 10 and Clark and shack as wingers. More options than a McDonald’s touchscreen.

3.) 07 Aug 2019 07:24:40
I think we need to get Pablo off the wing and into the no.10 role where he will be lethal and not have to do so much running.

I think an early season defining run of fixtures in the next 5 games.
Derby (who will probably fancy their chances after the last game)
Charlton (who have started strongly - this season's Sheff Utd? )
West Brom (who I think will be strong ontenders again this year and so far unbeaten)
and
Milwall (always a tough game and one that we really need to be winning despite it being their cup final and at The Den)
Birmingham (bit of a bogey side and started off quite well)
If we come out of those unbeaten and with 12 points or better I think we will push on and be hard to dislodge this year.

alftupper

1.) 16 Sep 2019 16:16:00
Alf Could not agree more.

2.) 16 Sep 2019 17:31:31
I'd sign up right now for 9 or more points, but I also think we are capable of all 15.

3.) 17 Sep 2019 06:09:26
Yep. Tough few weeks coming up. All going to be hard. First one is easiest so let’s start with a good win Saturday.

4.) 17 Sep 2019 15:43:14
very true mate sure we will get through it with at least 9 points.

31 Aug 2019 20:06:48
We were all over them today but let down by poor finishing and then defensive frailties. This is exactly why we needed to recruit some steel in defence, a new GK and a proven striker. Hopefully we learn to score sooner rather than later or I can see a repeat of the disappointment of last season.

Now that Bury are no more, which English football club has the shortest name?

alftupper

1.) 31 Aug 2019 13:58:59
Fulham.

2.) 31 Aug 2019 14:56:15
? george.

3.) 31 Aug 2019 15:37:49
Aus Last time I checked we are known as Leeds United 💙💛💙💛💙💛👊.

26 Aug 2019 08:16:34
My reflections on the opening fixtures are that we are playing well, haven’t reached full stride yet and coming together as a unit. Good clean sheets as well.

However, we haven’t really played anyone that good yet - Swansea will be the first proper test so let’s wait and see.

alftupper

1.) 26 Aug 2019 09:36:27
I agree with the review Alf, but not sure we haven’t played anyone that good, Bristol, Notts Forest And Even Brentford have the ability to beat good teams and won’t be too far away from the playoffs.

2.) 26 Aug 2019 10:06:37
Alf We do appear to be playing within ourselves. Conservation of energy for the future. A good thing.

3.) 26 Aug 2019 10:20:19
agree Alf Swans will be a great test, good thing is they play football and that suits us well, i feel more confident against a team that can play football over a lump it forward big physical side.

4.) 26 Aug 2019 10:42:49
Disagree regarding the quality of opposition faced as Bristol, Forest and Brentford should be challenging towards the top half of the league. That being said, the physical teams were our nemesis last season. Hopefully we can combat the strong arm tactics of Millwall, Barnsley, Cardiff etc.

5.) 26 Aug 2019 11:16:46
Think its all gone as expected to be fair. I expected us to do well first half of season and think we can beat Swansea as well, although they do seem to have learned from last season and are playing good football. I reckon we will be up there again going into the festive season its the bit after Dec. where we will be tested. We are more clinical in front of goal and White is a big plus in defence. As long as everyone stays fit and we amass points now at the beginning to put pressure on other teams we are the team to beat.
Must say Dallas as impressed me a bit so far, he gets forward really well but he has not been tested defensively yet due to our formation. Good to see goals coming from all over as well, wing backs, midfield and Bamford who has a much better attitude this time round. And of course the clean sheets, loving them let's hope it continues. Onwards and upwards.

6.) 26 Aug 2019 11:55:39
Forest haven’t impressed at all so far and Brentford are 19th. Bristol fair enough they are doing ok this far.

7.) 26 Aug 2019 12:17:57
Alf, Forest did to Fulham what they tried to do to us and got three points there which will be tough for teams to do. So far they have 4 pets from two away trips to Leeds and Fulham. Brentford, I think will get better as the season goes on.

8.) 26 Aug 2019 13:47:58
It’s a bit early to know who’s good or not. We hammered Norwich at Carrow Rd early last season and look how good they turned out to be!

9.) 26 Aug 2019 20:35:21
Every team can have its day in this league. None are useless, all can be dangerous. All we can do is keep racking up the points against whoever we play. But we have put some good teams to the sword so far!

10.) 27 Aug 2019 13:19:29
Florists could have had 6 or 7 vs Birmingham

Beat Fulham away

They are a threat

We, however, are a class act. We need to play our game, the rest sorts itself.

Spoiler alert Alf! You may want to skip the final episode.

2.) 14 Aug 2019 16:28:29
Do we get promoted in the TV show, class? 🤔🤔🤔.

3.) 14 Aug 2019 19:26:22
they asked me to re-write the ending so we beat villa in the play offs due to a kp hat trick.

4.) 14 Aug 2019 23:00:04
Don’t wanna spoil it Bright but if you need to wash your hair or wash ya smalls do it on the last episode 😂.

5.) 15 Aug 2019 14:41:02
I’m a shaved head fella, and certainly most of my match day small, at least, go straight in the bin! 😳🤪😢.

A great winning run now that sees us open up a gap to second would be perfect. All teams will drop points this year we just have to make sure we drop the least.

it has a clause in it though that means Philips can leave if we don't get promoted this year.

Forwards jobs aren’t always scoring. Giroud won a World Cup playing up front and not scoring. Bamford will score just not against better teams and Eddie will score but not necessarily if he starts. Different ways of looking at things.

There is a fine line between doing the same thing and getting the same results and trying to perfect something. I think Bielsa is doing the latter. His system works when it is perfect so he is striving for that perfection when he knows we will succeed. He is t saying we are perfect now and refusing to change despite it not working out.

works hard, runs non stop and can actually make a difference in games despite what you say above - can score and assists aren't too bad either. Who would you play instead of him?
