I think the issue in the Forest game, and has been an issue for quite a few seasons.

When the game gets stretched as it did at 1-1, we don't have the pace to make effective transitions with the ball. Unless we got it to Clarke quickly on Saturday you just felt Forest would get everyone back and this would lead to side-wards possession again.

Just my opinion on what might be the reason for the draws not becoming wins right now.

I tend to agree here . We do lack a little pace, Look at the Blackburn game, there player Armstrong down the left completely ripped us when he got the ball . They transitioned from defence to attack quickly and we don’t have that .

We can’t defend from corners!
4 points lost against Blackburn and forest because of that.

To be honest - in this league. I reckon maybe 12+ teams train on corners the majority of the week leading up to games. For the poor quality teams, set pieces are the way to points. How many goals have we conceded from open play this season? 6, which is mightily impressive! And one of them was a goal of the season.

You do not necessarily have to rely on pace with the ball for a quick transition. It can also be achieved by crisp accurate passing of the ball (always) forward. All too often I have seen teams throw away their advantage by moving forward only to lose momentum by stopping and passing backwards.
