What a weird game football can be, we had about 5-6 very good chances and they had 2 and win the game, have to convert them.
They defended well and that is their way, defend and score odd goal. I thought first 35mins they looked ordinary and thought we were very good but just wasteful, they came into match after that.
How did Harrison miss that, he can't finish for toffee.
Least we played well and created chances, now 24 points up for grabs and will need big % of them, still think there'll be twists in the run in but not in our hands now. Villa starting to hit form and wouldn't fancy them in a playoff or West Brom.
Hard to blame coops as had a fantastic season but a few mistakes yesterday and it cost us, also rate kiko and made us better but why was he so far off his line, how long is he band for?
My opinion, but didn't agree with bielsa's subs, alioski has been a revelation at LB and gets forward and defends, he not great as left winger, I rate him better LB than Douglas. Not sure why he brings on Doug and Dallas, he is terrible.
Should have done straight swap of Shackleton or Clarke for Harrison and kept alioski at LB.
sorry but Harrison not good enough, such a missed opportunity to get Dan James, for me bad Jan window, they said they wanted him from start, should have been sorted in first 2 weeks and if not signed, moved on and got a pacey winger, we have all said it.
Lastly should have invested in quality forward, Bamford good and played well first 35, held ball and good link up but we needed another option and could be our undoing.
Think MB should try bougusz on bench and give Izzy a full game to see if he can create and link up, better to know than not.

Agree with most of that especially about Harrison and leaving Alioski at left back .

Good post Melbourne. Got to trust in Bielsa but I didn't get the point of bringing Douglas on for Alioski either. Douglas just doesn't seem good enough/ up for the fight to me.
