If we do get rid of BMD, who do we bring in? can't think of anyone available at minute. Moyes. no chance. Festa or some other Italian. god I hope not. Cellino picking the team. Jesus H. Give the man time just like Rodgers and Dyche had. Its not a great league and 5 or 6 new quality faces could make all the difference. Maybe 4 british and even a couple of italians and who knows. Let face it the man has had an almost impossible task with all the goings on and, believe me, what he did at Reading was no fluke! We need stability and I hope Cellino sees it the same way. And those who say he doesn't show enough passion on the sideline. well that's up to all of us in the stands! Marching On Together.

There are a few people available mate but whether we could get them is a different story. Di Matteo is one that would be linked due to his Championship and top flight credentials. Steve Clarke is highly rated and praised highly by Mourinho, and could probably get us out of this league. Di Canio and Zola (please god, neither of these).

I think I'd take RDM or Clarke but otherwise I'm quite happy seeing BMD finally get a chance with proper ownership in place. I don't trust his tactics for toffee but I'm willing to see if he can get it right next season.

I know we should give him a chance but I think the game has changed so much that British managers just don't cut it. Other than Rodgers I can't think of a manager who brings that flair which is needed. I'd like to see a foreign manager in charge next preferably Spanish or with some Spanish influence. Have Leeds ever had a foreign manager? O'Leary doesn't count.

Good point Corky. I would stick with Brian. After all old whisky nose himself was one FA cup defeat away from the sack and look at what he went on to achieve. Anyway, haven't you heard, Brian will see his contract out as chief scout?. apparently. Until he's sacked of course and then someone will say he told us all ages ago but Eds didn't post it haha.

Not sure about giving bmd anymore time. In his first game in charge last year against Sheff Wed he got the team playing great football ( wouldn't have been hard after the coronation street that warnock had us playing). However after this he has shown no imagination or improvement ( in fact he's shown us the opposite ). He has relied on his old reading players to the detriment of our team. Like others I would not trust him with a transfer budget nor would I want him trying to implement his football tactics on players that massimo goes out and buys. We need a hungry manager who understands what it takes to get us out of the championship AND to then go on and not only survive in the premiership but bring us back to where we belong- at the top of English football. I don't know who would be the best candidate for the job but I do know bmd is NOT

Neil clement . Great coach who is looking for a English job according to rumours and will have learnt so much at Madrid and a great amount of contacts could be a bonus in transfer market

{Ed001's Note - what about Steve Davies from Crewe? Just a thought, Leeds have a strong youth system, so he could continue to work through that. Let Cellino's contacts find the players to bring in to supplement the kids, while Davies deals with the coaching. Sorry was just reading someone saying they would like a young British manager so thought I would throw his name in.}

Ive met Clarke and know what he's like. He makes BMD look enthusiastic! If we could get him DiMatteo would be great alternative if changes are to be made. Him and Eddie Newton would be ideal choice. Again, not name dropping, but I know these two well, especially Newton, and they work from top to bottom(youth team etc) and put a great emphasise on team spirit, technical side, and hard graft. Would Cellino be able to sell Leeds to them? Maybe. But I still say give BMD next season. MOT. by the way I am not doing a jeff!
