Smith seems to be making a number a statements on OS, YEP and his tweets are being re tweeted and publicised - is he the next Captain?!?

I do not believe he can be captain he is not even a confirmed starter in the team at times once he has proved himself more, then maybe in the future but very unlikely.

I think Pearce would be a better option. OK didn't have an awesome season last year, but was ever present and consistent.

Him or Murphy, but only if he is going to be a starter.

I don't think strikers should captain, as they can't read the game from the back, but that's just my personal opinion.

Not a big fan of forwards or keepers as skipper but you can't dictate who comes out as the natural leader! Just think its a bit coincidental that he seems to be quite vocal and he might feature more in the new look team!
