With the festive season approaching what about the Christmas Tree Formation?!
4-3-2-1.
Byram Bamba Cooper Taylor
Bridcutt Cook and Adeyemi
Antenucci/Botaka and Mowatt
Wood.
The midfield three is key. Plenty of pace and energy will help us control that area.
The two in behind Wood to support midfield when opposition have the ball but support Wood when attacking. Cook, along with fullbacks also have license to bomb forward at opportune moments, leaving both Bridcutt and Adeyemi protecting the back.
I think I am getting obsessed with formations as you could easily call it a 4-2-3-1 lineup.
Either way, we need to shore up the center of the park imo.

Corkwhite, agree got to win the midfield battle and I don't care how we do it but I'm guessing we need more numbers in it as we seem to get overrun all too often in this area.
