Was There An Offical Man Of The Match Today?
If So Who Was It?

Warnock for his celebrations. Having the BBC have to apologise for his language was one of the best things ever!
Agree10

It s difficult to pick out one star performer.... From 1 to 11 they all played really well.
Great team effort. Thank you Warnock, you ve obviously put some pride back into playing for the mighty whites.
I d pick out a few players who have taken a slagging over the year. O Dea, Brown and Connelly. They played as if their lives depended on it.
Agree6

Thought the commentary was pretty shocking tbh. Constantly on about us diving and playing dirty. Mind you, it was Keown!
Agree3
Disagree1
Keown!! What a biased s**thead!! Theres no way he could outrun ANY of our players. And as for our 'poor-mans Rooney'!!!! He puts in twice the effort Shrek does, and scores twice as much.
Agree5
Disagree1
Keown was just p.ss.d off cos we hit him with the ball at emirates lol!! give the guy a drink whoever he was !! lol mot !
Agree4
Disagree2
Keown is allways anti leeds. He lived in tony adams shadow for years!
Poor mans Rooney indeed, bout time they got someone who knows what they`re talking about.

He said it was Michael Brown. would have done better with Danny Mills commentating.

I posted some weeks ago now saying that when I was a lad my old dad said that if the players don't want the manager they won't play for him. Well looks like he was proved right, with the majority of the playing staff exactly the same Warnock has got them playing again for him, I think Grayson must have done something to upset the squad in the months leading up to his sacking. Let's face it if you don't like your boss you hate busting a gut for him, well the same goes for footballers.
Believable12
Unbelievable1
Not sure it was the players not wanting him. I think it was the manager not knowing how to build a team.
Agree2
Disagree0
He built a fantastic team, then had it decimated. last season's XI (maybe plus Beckford) could easily have walked this division.

Lets all be truthfull here, since Warnock came in we have all been revitalised, we all see the belief coming through, and he hasn't done that much, but it's enough to realise something was wrong?
I can't honestly see us getting into the playoff places, but never say die?
Leeds and proud... MOT

No more COLIN......
Lets face it the team has found itself I seriously cannot believe Middlesborough were in an automatic playoff place, they were crap?
If we can take a game from these sorts of teams before its even started then we have a great future?
Lets enjoy the rest of the season, take what comes and then next season we go for it................

dont know if anybody else agrees, but O'Dea looks more confident under NW, Man of The Match by a long way i thought today, all them people who slagged him off i hope were eating their words after today, dont think anything got past him, i think its the magic head bandage which did it ;)
Believable12
Unbelievable1
I don't think they will eat there words under SG he was worse than poor he was abysmal! People only commented on what they witnessed under NW the whole team looks a marked improvement!
Agree5
Disagree0
Reason is simples. Warnock is a much better manager than Grayson. Grayson insufficiently intelligent to be a top manager in my opinion. He was poor with squad rotation, getting best out of average players and organizing a defense. He may prove to be a good manager one day...but never at our club.

McCormack edged MOTM for me.

O'DEA was a wall, !!
Agree7

Brown looks a different footballer completely
Robinson looks assured
O'Dea looked world class in comparison to last year -
Things are looking up
Agree6
Disagree0
O'dea in the past has made some stupid mistakes that have cost us, ipswich and celtic. under warnock he has been getting better by the game. i think he was at 'fault' for lamberts goal vs southampton for letting lambert lose his defender but he has been pretty much faultless at all other times. yesterday he was sensational (MOTM for me) and i hope he can continue to play like that for the rest of the season. well done dazza!

Was brombys fault for that goal i felt, he left that japanese fella in acres of space

Can you believe it, Leeds are now looking a fortress at the back, basically the same players but what a difference a decent manager can make... and guess what, Huddersfield are leaking goals like mad!

Without trying to pee on your parade, Hudds did that under Clark

Not as many as they are now though

I think its because of Graysons style of football hes like Holloway he likes attacking football but prone to counter attack

Great result today and that's the only thing that counts, but come on now let's not be Liverpool and get over excited both goals were absolute gifts even though we definitely deserved to win lets not forget now that in 4 games we have scored 2 goals and both major defensive blunders. Would love to see us make the play-offs as is still possible in a league as poor as this but in my opinion whoever goes up this season is going straight back down with a record low points unless major money is invested.
Believable1
Unbelievable11
Why be negative? Can't you just be pleased. Whether or not the goals were 'lucky' we still would have won. 3 clean sheets in 4 games all our performances have been quality...a brilliant start! Well done warnock and the boys. Mot
Agree9
Disagree0
LUCKY what the fu-k you talking about goal 1 forced the defender into the mistake but the goal still had to be made and was
goal 2 again constant pressure and harassment forced the mistake from the defender again the goal still had to be made and was
without the rush and pressure leeds showed today neither goals would have bean possibly LUCKY I DONT THINK SO
A grate all round performance from the lads and manager witch dues not deserve to be dragged down by you or anyone else
Agree8
Disagree0
Pressure causes blunders....we were awesome today.
Agree9
Disagree0
I don't think we would go back down. Warnock can build good teams with little money and Premier league Leeds can attract far bigger names than any of the other teams that will go up (and many that are already established).
Big push needed now and we can be back in the big time, then we can start pushing for our place as one of Europe's elite back
Good times ahead :) M.O.T

Goals are rarely the cause of great defending. Yeah, you get wonder goals, but If a player gets in the box, and has a s**t, there's a defender to blame for it. Both goals were the result of great build up, fluid passing play and persistence. Oh, and Lady luck was in a white shirt for a change!!

It took 3 years for sg to sort the defence out and he still couldnt manage to do it and it taken warnock little over 2 weeks with the same players {Ed020's Note - glad we got him when we did!! :D!}

Back four looks stable at last, great bit of buisness getting paul robinson in,odea and lees look a good pairing(after a long time) ad connelly looks a totally differant player aswell,"hats off" to neil warnock and long may it last,WE ARE LEEDS WE ARE LEEDS WE ARE LEEDS.
Agree9

This obviously wasnt rocket science, we made Middlesborough look like crap

So we like loan players then!!!!!!
Agree0
Disagree0
Loan signings do have their place...we had two loan players in our team odea who was there before NW took over and robinson who is out of contract at the end of the season so could become a permanent...SG generally used to loan players that were never going to become permanent players and we became the training ground for permier league youngsters

I like anyone who puts on the shirt and plays with pride and gives it their all. O'dea will be hoping to sell himself in the closing games, and if he carries on this consistently, id take him...

All home games are deff winnable as we are putting in proffesional performances, we were unlucky against southampton and should have won but now after finally scoring under warnock i can actually see us going on a reading style mission into the playoffs! i wouldnt be gutted if we missed out as i think under warnock if we are still here next season we will go up champs!

Reading away will be tough, can't see us getting that one.

Reading Blackpool and Cardiff will be tough. I'd be happy with 4 points from 9 with those.
Agree3

Let's be honest we should have smashed Cardiff at eland road, poor goal to give away. Blackpool are losing at the moment and we need payback for 5-0 drubbing. Reading will be hard though I agree maybe a couple of players in like Neil says and who knows
Agree0

I think if Warnock gets us up he will stay long term. I know he said he would retire, but I can't see him walking away from a chance in the prem (especially if we go up next season), where he can prove all his critics wrong.

Top performance from the team today getting a well deserved three points. Ok the keeper should have stoppef the first one, and as for the defender on the second, well!! Never really looked like conceding today in another impressive defensive display. Warnock has already sorted out the defence, unlike Grayson whose Huddersfield shipped another two yesterday. Keep it going lads, three points against the Hammers next week

Half time @ The riverside.
We are making a very very good team look like Ragarse Rovers. Our defending is sensational, so much better. No messing about. Two decent goals, thought McCormacks pass to Becks for the 2nd goal was brilliant, superb vision. Credit to the other fans here we have made a lot of noise and our lads are winning in style. Amazing performance so far, lets keep it up.

Thing is middlesborough are cheats and dont deserve to be where they are.
the ref was very wise to them and didnt allow it.
without the ability to cheat they are nothing

Mccormacks pressure on the defender to get the 2nd goal was better than the ball to becchio . had he been slower the defender would of just cleared it .

Leeds should try and sign Nick Powell from Crewe. The lad is a future England player. I live in Crewe and support Leeds. Would probably be able to sign him for £500,000 plus sell on and additional clauses. He is one to watch out for, only 17.
