Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

I think October will be a good month for us. We don't have a squad full of depth but the lads are playing well together. Diouf is fantastic at the minute. Our youngsters are playing great and we have Becchio on form. If we can beat Bolton on tuesday I think this winning run can continue, if people stay fit

Thank god the Beckford rumour has been put to bed, TBH I doubt Warnock even considered him, he's been pretty average ever since he left leeds and the fact he's not been playing at Leicester is enough to say he's not what he was... I'll always love him for all he diid for Leeds and especially THAT goal against the mancs, but let's move on. NW knows how to put a team together so in he we trust.
Also, just as a footnote, KB may be a lot of things and i'm not his biggest fan, but he' s leaving our club in a much healthier state than he found it, not many would have taken it on, so thanks Ken, let's close that chapter soon too!

Alot of people on here slated him. I didn't for one minute. I hoped from the minute the league finished, we would come in and get him. I think anyone else that was at the Leeds v Doncaster game like me. Could see what a real talent he was. He made Snoddy look ordinary, in a game we won.
He said he wanted to be a legend and he's slotting into that role with little effort.

Don't worry. Grayson and Snodin are the worst fitness coaches in the world so watch hudds have a good start and then tail off at the end just like us 2 years ago.

Interesting thought, but Leeds under Grayson rallied and scored something like 12 goals after 85 minutes prior to being sacked! Not suggesting I want him back at all, just don't believe you can say that fitness was a problem!

The thing is nobody knows who is investing, we know who is brokering the deal and thats all. All i would say is that there are some VERY rich people in that part of the world. We can all recall the rumours about barhani royalty possibly being investors. If that were the case what would stop them increasing their financial commitment!? Moreover i can see sense in the above hypothesis to remain secret. Were others to get a sniff that serious money was behind leeds then would create unnecessary inflation when players/agents are negotiating fee's salaries etc.

Australian teenager Patrick Antelmi has signed his first professional contract with Leeds United.
The 18-year-old striker has been with the club on trial since the summer, he scored in the under-21s win against Wigan at Elland Road earlier this month, and he has signed a one-year contract with a further year's option.
Patrick had previously been with Portsmouth as a youngster.

Alot people had me down as a doom and gloom merchant. This is not the case and defo not now. The one thing that would change my mind on coming back to watch the lads, was a little investment. I always said Bates out! Boycott, due to me not seeing anyway forward with Mr Bates.
He might of run a tight ship but he tried to run a small crew, with a view to getting lucky. I am so looking forwards to the Barnsley game and doing what i do best, support my team. Now is defo the time to turn ER into a stronghold and not a hunting ground. I have a funny feeling this is going to be are year in so many ways.
So lets come togeather now and stop all the infighting. We all know how each and everyone of us loves are club. Thats why this club will never die.
Hope the lads show the same comitment as the Everton game today. I'm going with a 2-0 win, Byram and diouf getting the goals ether half.
COME ON YOU WHITES!!

I know they have been buying many companies so hope they were 1 off payments and now making money as don't want more money worries for Leeds. That's if they are buying us not the brokers for a deal.

Correct, there was never any evidence that Warnock actually attempted to sign Beckford. Don't forget Beckfords only real successful seasons were with Scunthorpe on loan in League One and with Leeds in League One. He wasn't up to playing in the Prem League and despite a hefty £3 mill move to Leicester less than a year ago, he has been let go again as he couldn't hack it in the Championship. Don't get me wrong we will always remember his role in our promotion from the 3rd tier of English football. But I think for the cost of the undoubted wage contribution we could get better. Warnock needs grafters and power houses that run through teams, not light weights.
Agree9

Beckford was joint top scorer for everton with most of his games coming on as sub or playing on his own as lone striker . had Leicester not of come into money beckford would still be in prem league now . beckford will probably end up with 20+ goals this season if he stays at Huddersfield . only reason i wouldn't want him at leeds is that he would want to be the main man again .

Great news about the take over being almost complete, i am a bit disappointing that the wording from GFH is that we intend to take back ownership of ER as soon as possible, did anyone else read that the same as me, meaning they are not going to buy ER with the takeover?

They can't buy the ground until they buy Leeds City Holdings who have first refusal on the purchase of the ground. An 3rd party can't buy the ground before LCH for about another 20 years

I know it's only a few but can we way off Beckford a bit, let's remember him for what he did for us, yes he left us but players do, some say he left for money I like to think he left to try his hand in the best league in the word firstly, money 2nd. It didn't work out so he went somewhere else and lets not forget he didn't turn us down this time coz we didn't make a bid and now he's gone on loan to get some games again he's not snubbed us coz we don't even know if warnock wanted him back and yes I know it's our rivals but is he ment to turn the chance to play for that? He loves Leeds he's shown that and most love him, let's remember the good things he did for us he never left under a cloud he went to try and play in the best league in the world but it didn't work for him and I'm pretty sure if we had bid at anytime he would have come back. Let him do his thing and let our boys with GFH leading the way do ours, coz if things go how they sound like they might we are going to have many many more players to b proud of. Good luck Beckford I hope u do well and I'd love to see u in a Leeds shirt again someday.

Well... at last we can stop arguments over Beckfor return beeing wise or stupid! People been black or white in this issue! Personally I've found it difficult... To choose between Beckford out, meening playing a 11 man team and a striker scoring a few less goals than him. Or Beckford in - meening some more goals from one striker - but actually playing a 10 man team in every game. Think Huddersfield will experience the Beckford effect felt in all his previous teams: deadly at best, but rising instability in team performance resulting in table position well below playoff! Don't prove me wrong Becks!
