Apparently weve offered £300k plus nunez, pugh & or rogers for templeton !!
WTF is going on ?
We need to add numbers not take em away !
Think nunez and rogers could both do a job jus not given the chance {Ed013's Note - Did you see how small our squad is on the back of the Blackpool programme compared to theirs! We need some depth in the squad ASAP!}

Believable15 Unbelievable39

We need bates to spend some of his own money for a change, i dont think we are far off a play off first 11 maybe 13 players but after that nothing . i think 2 mill spent on players and an extra 750 k towards wages that are releast after the listed players are gone we would be looking at top 3 but never gonna happen and i still think rogers deserves a better chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Scarey stuff.

I couldn't understand why at Blackpool we would play White on the wing when we have Rogers and Nunez. I know we are trying to sell them, surely showing them off on the pitch would be beneficial (isn't that called advertising).

I would like to see at least one of them given a go or sit on the bench.

Agree2 Disagree0

If your selling a player why risk him getting injured then you won't be able to sell him also your trying to gel a first team together so whynincludemhim in the side if your off to sell him.
Do you know nothing about football.

Put them in reserves games that's where scouts go to watch players who they want .

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi, I can see your point, but injuries are part and parcel of the game.
It is a results driven business, there are no prizes or promotions for keeping players fit for other teams when they could make a contribution to your own team.

Agree0 Disagree0

That actually sounds like a good deal to me! What we need is quality, as NW has said -we went for quantity under SG and look where that got us! If it was a numbers game , Varynen et al would still be here. Of the players being offered, only Nunez has anything to offer us IMO, and I would be more than happy to trade him for Templeton. Agree0 Disagree0

Hearts would not beintrested in this deal all the leeds players salerys are to high hearts are cost cutting thus the reason they did not offer new contracts to some of there best players in the summer

Last 2 signings of the summer will be Adam Hammill and Nicky Maynard. Hammill for around £750,000 and Maynard on season loan to permanent deal if we go up
TOM MOT

Believable8 Unbelievable42

Whos money we are skint at the moment and only just over a week to go until transfer window closes . cant see anything happening unless its a last min thing

Agree0 Disagree0

Hammill is a good player better then templeton but personally anyone who has turned us down in the past i wouldn't want to see at my club remember he turned down leeds to sign for Barnsley when he was released by Liverpool

The takeover is more or less down to KB signing the papers.
I did say before that he would hang on as long as possible to spite the Leeds fans and I was told I was being ridiculous....this is KB we're talking about here!!
The other news is that Diouf will sign a year contract and that the club are in talks with other possible loan signings...the primary one being Maynard.

Believable34 Unbelievable11

Takeover now in KB hands. Final offer made. Prospective owners in London. Lufc do not have long to 'accept'. Money not issue but seems to be KB and what he does next... Hes got no thoughts about whats good for club. Everyone ( from both parties ) want deal to be concluded....except bates!

Agree0 Disagree0

What reason does he has to spite us? Stop writing rubbish.

Agree0 Disagree0

Correct. I posted a similar rumor about a month ago and people laughed it off. Who's laughing now? The fact still remains, Bates owns our club and makes all the decisions. Any proposed takeover is nothing but false hope, as it would take either huge investment or a billionaire to purchase the cash cow from bates control. Wake up and smell the coffee people!

Still nothing from LUST? Been reading on another popular LUFC forum that it could be wording in the Idemnity that both parties have to sign that is the reason for the deal stalling. Most probably relating to money owed to creditors that Ken wants to pass onto new owners. Surely this will be peanuts compared to what he stands to make from the TO going through?

a scarborough white

Believable15 Unbelievable19

The silence from LUST is deafening. No comment since Leeds beat Wolves, and then only a quick tweet. That's five days nearly since an update. Last week you couldn't shut them up, they were on the radio, and tweeting like mad, this week nothing. This despite the identification of the potential investors at Leeds.

Agree0 Disagree0

Cannot say I am bothered about not hearing anythign from LUST. Most of the stuff they have come out with has been counter productive anyway. I know we are all wanting a resolution the the takeover situation but at the end of the day what will happen will happen in its own sweet time. We as fans can do sod all about that except keep getting behind the team each game and helping NW get us back to where we know we belong !!!
PeteMOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes...there certainly appears to be something going on and it doesnt leave you feeling confident.

Agree0 Disagree0

The brokers have been identified, not the buyers.

What the original poster is saying is reportedly true. Bates is stalling, big time. Seems he doesn't want to go.

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe their silence is because they expect the club to announce a takeover/investment at any moment. Either that or I think they can't say anything else without telling us something they're not meant to...

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm guessing it's for one of two reasons. 1) they really don't know anything about what's going on or 2) they have been told to be quiet by their contact. lufcspud

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats because LUST were the ones who was being taken over, the people at Elland road were there to buy LUST, Bates tricked them into a meeting . Dare to dream thats what they did and they sold out . LUST now work for Bates so expect to hear nothing going fwd

Agree0 Disagree0

I.ve been hearing same story for days pal, whats bates hiding?

Agree0 Disagree1

In conclusion no one knows anything and everyone has their own thoughts but at the end of the day its all speculation. My own theory is that talks will collapse as Bates wants to keep soem control and wants to run the show with someone elses money which is never going to happen. I expect collapse in talks to be announced next week

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed can confirm that when I rarely post it is not to add or fuel rumours. The reason for the delay is the amount of money bates wants if and when we get back to the PL. This is totally genuine from a rather p****d off source who is very much involved in the negotiations.

Agree0 Disagree0

When will fans realise that lust know no more than the rest of us. I am starting to believe that the takeover will not go through, but I sure hope that I am wrong. Surely if it was going to happen it would have happened by now, as seemingly there is very little left to do. But its been too quiet for my liking.
MaltaWhite

Agree1 Disagree0

When will fans like Maltawhite realise Lust know a lot more than us.

Agree0 Disagree0

I too heard the stalling was down to a possible "Skeleton in the closet" clause. Apparently the prospective new owners want assurances if anybody comes knocking for money owed once they are in charge, then this gets passed onto Bates.

Agree0 Disagree0

'When will fans like Maltawhite realise Lust know a lot more than us.'

If Bates and the prospective investors signed a confidentiality agreement, do you really think a trust that has nothing officially to do with LUFC will be privy to any insider knowledge?

Sorry Mr Cooper, didn't realise you read a rumours forum.

Warnock
Expects NO deals to be done before transfer window shuts
So I'm guessing loan signings?
Even though warnock claims he don't want any loan players

Sam ponty!!

Believable25 Unbelievable5

Ive heard from a very good sorce that leedsutd are about to bring 3 top players in on loan with the rights of buy in jan window believe because true nicky maynard and adam johnson andclint hill

Agree0 Disagree1

Sam were you heard this

luke b pontee

Agree0 Disagree0

If NW hasn't any money what can he do but seek young loan players with limited premiership experience? I think his hands are tied by Uncle ken again. Hill signed a new deal with QPR in June, Johnson linked to Liverpool so highly unlikely loan moves to Leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

Host of prem clubs after adam Johnson and ain't he agreesd a deal with Sunderland so very very unlikely
Maynard maybe
Clint hill
No

Sam ponty

Agree1 Disagree0

Adam Johnson??? As in the bloke that plays for man city???? That is the most unlikely deal ever!!!! Never gonna happen!

Agree0 Disagree0

Nunez scored for the reserves
Meant to be in talks with notts county
Hope he stays, never really given a chance
Can do something different from the rest of the team, who work hard but miss that little bit of class.

Agree0 Disagree2

Well Warnock said he don't like loan signings Luke , also he said in his interview in yep that he don't expect any players in

Sam ponty
Bwt is that luke browny from ponty lol

Warnock says he's working on the assumption that nobody will be coming in.... I live in hope rather than expectancy of that changing! Peter MOT

If fredricks gotta think about it for about 3 wks then hes not prob for us

Agree1 Disagree0

Blackpool, cardiff, bolton, wolves, boro, brighton all of those games will be tough

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont forget Forest

Agree0 Disagree0

Your forgetting forest who absolutely destroyed us last season. i know we won big at their ground(R.I.P - G.SPEED) but the thrashing they gave us was a footballing lesson to learn from. No McCleary but still a class team when motivated that can cause us loads of probs.
in warnock we trust

Agree0 Disagree0

There are going to be harder games than last night as we are at best an average side. I expect us to finish mid table at best. There will be no takeover fact

Agree0 Disagree0

There are going to be NO harder games than Tuesday night and we are at best an above average side. I expect us to finish top six at best. There will be a takeover fact.

I have heard from my cousin who plays for Falkirk that we are close to signing Edu from Rangers. I don't often post but love the sites and before you flame me down Falkirk were playing Rangers tonight and I phoned my cousin after it because he was so excited to be playing against them. Could be a good signing from the little I have seen and read about him.

Even though I don't believe the rumour of him coming to Leeds, he is not off to Ipswich either apparently.

Paul Jewell has denied this.

Although I'm disappointed with tonight's result, I can't say I'm surprised. The Seasiders are a good team and at mo have better players and a stronger squad than we have. I can imagine NW is desperate to try and get some good quality players in asap as we need them if we are to mount a serious challenge for the title this season.

We need the takeover to happen soon as imo we need a creative midfielder/winger, a quality striker and a top notch CB. Without these, we will have to have a war of attrition every game which, of course, I hope we win.

This division will be really tough this year so I have my prayer mat out facing mid-east hoping the takeover will be done this week. MOT Ron

Believable42 Unbelievable7

Here here, totally agree !

Agree0 Disagree0

I think that leeds need to consolidate and build a team this year. More depth needed to mount a promotion push. If austin, macormack, kenny gets injured who is there to replace them?

Agree0 Disagree0

Sub keeper ashdown is fine and Alex Cairns if we r desperate or an emergency loan

Agree0 Disagree1

Hi, there are two wingers waiting for a chance, Nunez and Rogers.
I would be fairly sure NW would have had no idea about Byram until he played him, how hard would it be to give those two guys a go against Oxford? If he can play Pugh as a sub why not Nunez and Rogers, obviously being on the transfer list actually means very little.
As an asides there must be something in the water at ER. You buy a RB, and play him at CB and LB, your LB signing does not get a game, while your back up LB is played at RM.
All very Graysonesque.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree every game will be a battle but you still need a bit of quality in the middle of the park. if we could get Quinn and templeton i would be happy with the squad and think we'll be there or there abouts

Agree0 Disagree0

If anything this game will do us good, it shows us where we are and what we need to do, I highly rate warnock and I'm not slating him but personally I think that McCormack came off a tad too early, its clear that 1-0 escapes are warnocks aims and we've no complaints about that, tonight though has shown that you can't drop your guard against a team like Peterborough and I'm still proud of the lads tonight, we've lost to blackpool remember, not barnsley or forest, look forward to seeing you all at Peterborough
LouisLeeds

Believable21 Unbelievable2

I agree mate, dont get why he takes him off at all. At wolves he and becchio were creating chances and that went when he went off.

I wasnt expecting to beat blackpool, but when your winning then lose it is disappointing.

I still think we need to add to the squad, as our bench always looks poor and if we lose any more 1st team players we will struggle

MOT!

Agree0 Disagree0

You're silly if you underestimate forest mate.
Like Holloway they have a manager who plays football the proper way.

Agree0 Disagree0

R u forgetting the embarrassing mauling at the hands of forest last season, underestimate them at your peril. low point of last season, i bet you dont even go to any of our games u mug.

Sam byram to far to quickly, surely drury in hie favoured left back roll and Peltier in his favoured right back roll

Believable49 Unbelievable4

I'm not one that likes to see players out of position but, I also wouldn't have liked to see Byram dropped just because Green was injured. From what I've seen Byram will be a good player for us this season and I'm glad he played!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree with you !

Agree0 Disagree1

Can't understand why Peltier didn't move to right mid allowing Lees to come in at centre half thus leaving team largely unchanged and no-one playing out of position. Makes sense to me but hey, what do I know?

Agree0 Disagree0

He has great promise but ideally need more experience against the better teams. Don't want him to lose confidence having been dropped in the deep end
