leeds are going to sign Andy keogh permantly in january and loan out somma for the rest of the season to get match fit. MOT! good source

Maybe as a squad man, but to be honest, i hope not. He works hard, wins flick ons and can run the channels. Forwards are judged on goals though and his goals to games ratio is awful. He won't start when Becchio etc is fit and i guess he would cost 400k-500k. Too much.

Out of contract next summer. Will be a £150K deal or thereabouts. Great squad player and competes well for first team spot. Welcome home Andy.

Just imagine Becchio and Somma upfront McCormack just behind front two, Pugh on left wing, Snodgrass on right. Keogh as backup. Enough to put the frightners on most teams in the Championship. Come on the Mighty Whites.

Pity about our defence, mind you with all our attacking talent we can score more than most teams in the division MOT.

You cant really give forsell a chance when bechio is struggling for a first team spot just think when sommas back forsell wont have a chance, we didnt need him i think it was a pressure deal something for the fans

I think that we should sign him but send one of our strikers out on loan otherwise there'd simply be too many, sending Somma to a club like Doncaster would be ideal if they're still down at the bottom come January

Forsell probably isnt up to full match fitness as of yet, i would say when he does get fully fit he will get a chance, cant deny his quality, he's a goalscorer

Why would they loan a player out who is injured for the rest of the season. Come on get your facts right before you post sh*te.

You say becchio is over rated are you mad we are not saying he is world class but we are a championship team not premier league team so to us yeah he is class. he gets at least 18goals a season and all of his assist and back tracking he dose they is not many strikers like that.

Somma isnt out for the rest of the season he should be back in the new year so get your facts right.

Think Sommas back early new year. Keogh's done OK, came in and did a job at a time when we were down to bare bones in attack, now Becchio is back and Forsells also here we have some options to chose from for a change, and there's always Billy.....Maybe not!!

I think Keough is doing a very good job and personally I think he is a better all round player than Becchio. However you can't argue with Becchio's goalscoring record and so when January comes I think Keough will return to Wolves since we have Somma, Forsell, and Paynter as back up to McCormack and Becchio. Would be a shame to spend money on people to simply keep the bench warm.

Keogh can go back to Wolves, unless we can get him on a free on reasonable wages.

Agree with keogh coming to leeds is a good player however somma going out on loan for the rest of the season? who is going to take somma now and pay his wages for 6 months just for him to sit around and recover from a very serious injury. he is a good player but he can play whilst injured

depends how fortunate he is but cruciates normally take around 9 months to heal properly

Sommas gonna be out for a while and then he'll need quite a while to get back to match fitness, and then after quite a severe injury he wont be confident upfront as he wont want to risk getting another injury i could see Keogh replacing somma.

I see Michael Keightley was due to go to Forest on loan before they changed manager. Good winger with pace and goals at Championship level. I know defence is the priority, but he could add penetration as Gradel used to do for us and is clearly available til Jan.

Good call! still tihnk andros townsend from spurs will add pace and can easily beat a man

Not so sure we need someone in that position. We need a solid CB and a RB then hopefully, we'll be there. There's no point in clogging the team up even further with attacking players. The lads seem to be settling down a bit now, and they should be given the opportunity to see what they can do.

I think he'd be a great addition. I'd play him on the wing and put Pugh at left back making our defence more solid.

Said the same myself last week. Decent option this one.

Let him go not a bad player going forward but can not defend to a suitable standard
Gets caught out of position too much and ball watching
Could get a decent sum and invest in a quality left back that will be stronger at defending

Are you serious, he has been our best player in a few of the matches since coming back from his ridiculous sending off. His pace will get him a long way - with us!

To 2nd comment - you obviously are an armchair fan, aidy white has been influential for us this season and now with danny pugh in, they're working well together down the left, what works so well is pugh dropping in to cover when white goes forward, a luxury we haven't had at leeds in years.. get a grip man!
