A mate of mine, who's a Boro fan, told me that they were trying to resign David Wheater from Bolton but Leeds were also in the mix.
The ex-England international is still only 26 but not sure whether he's the man to marshall our defence.
1.) 2 year ago I would have jumped at the chance of signing him but now he really is injury prone
