I've said it before but Owen Coyle is the only manager willing to come to Leeds at the mo hope I'm wrong my choice would be poyet but without investment no half decent manager with any ambition will touch us

Thehumph

1.) I;ll take Coyle got promotion out off this league what's this with Poyet was quick enough to jump ship before and has spent a lot off brass at Brighton and done nothing

2.) Poyet was Assistant Manager of a League One club who was offered the chance to be Assistant Manager of a Premiership team knocking on the door of European football.
The fuss about him is that he is tactically astute, extremely good at motivating players and a genuine, honest guy.
He got a bunch of no-marks playing like winners and when he left the 'manager' whom he was supposed to be assisting was quickly exposed, results predictably tanked and we spent longer in League One.
Poyet would do well anywhere because he knows how to get the best out of players and create teams that complement the strengths of what he has available while covering the gaps left by what they lack. I would love to see him get the Leeds job but, sadly I think we would have to be Premier League already for that to happen.

3.) Oh come on! We're a stable championship club with a good history of bringing through youth players. We've got a decent (Though maybe not brilliant) squad.

Any half decent manager wants a challenge, not an easy ride. Otherwise, what's the point?

Lots of speculation about players in not many about players leaving I honestly believe apart from lees byram and macca possibly whitey the rest of the Leeds squad is up for grabs so whoever we sign you can pretty much guarantee a player from our squad in the same position will go to part fund it in some way to me that's how GFH roll

Thehumph

1.) One in one out is great for me!

2.) What you mean like finding that superstar Morrison and getting rid of Becchio in part exchange?

Spot on mate!

3.) We didn't get rid of beccio. He wanted to go to the promise land and show everybody he could make it there. And what a smashing job he has done. Whilst on the subject, i'm all for having old players back that would improve our team. Beccio isn't one of them. He would dictate the way we would have to play. Eg boring

Love the definite signings on here so far we've signed two defenders four midfield and six strikers without selling one player giving us a squad total of about 75 players the only thing Leeds will be signing will be bankruptcy papers at that rate lmao c'mon super Leeds fans be a little realistic

I think after yesterday's performance we clearly need to bring the new manager in this week call it panicking but elland rd was a fortress before Xmas now it's a bloody oxo cube GFH you let snodgrass go because of your delayed takeover then you sell becchio rather than invest in the squad for once do something good for our club stop playing with it like its a toy and bring in a manager that not only the fans can believe in but the players too otherwise we will end up at Yeovil again and your 20 mill will be worth 20 quid

Thehumph

1.) "then you sell becchio"

Er, did I miss something here?

We actually GAVE Becchio away for something called a Morrison (thought it was a supermarket) and a few thousand pounds, the word 'SELL' never came into the equation.

All gone tits up since that happened, well done Colin.

Looking at warnocks statement he's giving himself 3 more games to turn our season around I personally would like poyet but don't think he would leave Brighton for us but in all honesty it doesn't matter who we bring in if the board don't back him with real money for real players not peanuts for monkeys I just hope a good investor buys into the club as its obvious GFH don't have the funds to do it themselves otherwise well be in exactly the same boat next season
