Daily snail confirm signing of Sharp on a 2 year deal, apparently we have paid off what the remainder of his contract with the saints was worth, therefore he's taken a pay cut. With the right service I think we could re-find his previous form. Plus he's going to be of more use than Noel Hunt isn't he. MOT

I think noel hunt should think about moving on, had to feel for him last night, the harder he tried, the more things just would not go for him.i just hope althis blind faith in sharp pays off.and he's not just an expensive hunt!btw, does sharp suddenly 'love' leeds?not that long since he said he would never play for us.

Yeah I don't agree with booing or slating one of our won but I think it's in the best interest more so for him than us to try and move him on for a fresh start. I doubt he'll suddenly love us over night but it's amazing what the idea of 1st team football instead of being loaned out to nodbody clubs does for you. MOT

I Agree John, I was at the game last night and the more Hunt tried the more you could see the fans losing more patient with him which can't be good for his confidence I think it would be worth loaning him out to a lower league for 3 months once he has a few goals under his belt . who knows

I thought the effort showed last night was impressive and the lad upfront led the way. Tonge by far the best player on the field!. Getting on Hunts back was way out of line and doesn't help the situation - frankly I was embarrassed.

2 seasons ago, I'd've quite happily let Ross go and replaced him with Sharp and expected to make a loss out of it.

If we pull this off, it's a brilliant move!

Fans entitled to give opinion, I think the getting on hunts back is more about hockaday picking hunt rather than hunt being pony. also he is paid enough if he don't like being booded play better of leave for free. I would love to be paid that to play for leeds and if fans had a pop would still be able to sleep at night. I love sharp siging, proven goals at this level english and everything fans are asking for yet some still moaning, might not work out but I think worth a shot. also if sharp loves or hates the club he is a pro football and goalscorer and that is what he will try his best to do no matter what club. I don't like Arsenal but if I was playing for them I would still bust a gut to score for myself if not for the club
