Monk looking at signing 30 year old Celtic left back Emilio Izaguirre. Out of contract in the summer and possible replacement for Taylor.

{Ed007's Note - Celtic would like Izaguirre to sign a contract extension (probably on reduced terms) and be back up to Kieran Tierney but Izaguirre wants to be playing regular first team football which Celtic can't give him. If he is leaving Celtic there will be plenty of interested teams from all over Europe and the MLS.}

Izaguirre is the proverbial headless chicken. He would not add anything to our team- think Aidy White only slower.

{Ed007's Note - He's anything but slow and even at 30 is one of the quickest players in Scotland.}

Lol he wouldn't have played as many games for Celtic as he has done if he was anything as bad as aidy white, he's far far better, he can actually defend too
