I was going to say that I will be slated for this post but actually I don't think I will.

We have managed to get rid of some of the 'dead wood' and free up at least a bit of money for wages.

Cellino has said there was money available for players without the Ross money.

We have pulled half a dozen new players into the team.

The new goalkeeper has now conceded 4 goals from poor opposition? I thought Kenny was bad enough?

We are relying on Austin to score from penalties?

Vivaldi (sic) has seen us play and doesn't want to join (hardly surprising?)

I was feeling slightly optimistic about this season but I would imagine Millwall are looking forward to putting a lot of goals past us.

Hockaday is totally out of his depth here, and I have now come to agree with the 'doomsters' that pushed this up earlier.

We need a 'leader' in charge of coaching, not a dead loss.

I hate to say this but I can see us down in the bottom half of the league from day one with this guy and this goalkeeper.

Leeds
I wasnt at the games so I only know what I read in the reports, most reports seemed to praise the keeper but said he would have been dissapointed not to get to chesterfirelds first goal.

As for the coach I think we all know where that's going to lead.

From what i've seen and heard Silvestre has been good , Austin 2 from 2 , wheres the problem!

We have a coach that has won, well nothing really, spent the best part of his managerial career keeping F G in the conference( one season on a technicality, should have been relegated.) Going forward from last season, well actually we seem to be going backwards, No Captain, No Pace, Nobody who can score 20+ goals, defensively still poor(on Hockadays own admittance ) I can foresee a tough season ahead, on a plus we still have the best supporters in the country, I hope we sign 2 or 3 quality players soon to give us hope, see you all Aug 16th.

Well that's cheered me up

I don't think the keepers at fault. just nothing in front of him. no defence. no team. no coach. when I heard of hocks days appointment I thought it was a joke. now I realise it is.this can't go on we need to get rid now.and don't say we're all doom and gloom. we're just really worried supporters. mc is a single minded bloke but he has to see this will never work". give the team a chance. a coach to respect and play for.I dread our 1st home game it could be a bloodbath for hockaday. 20000 fans calling for your head is not like 3 men and a dog he's used to. do the right thing mr Cellini and do it now before everything. Gets really messy

Cellino as massively underestimated the quality of this league, Hockaday is well out of his depth at a club with the stature of Leeds, he may have sorted out some financial mess but the most important appointment to get right as got to be the coach/manager, put Leeds on a snakes and ladder board and you can guarantee we'll land on a snakes head.

Silvestri kept the score from being embarrassing. Coulda easily been 2-3 down at HT

Only my thought but ere goes.
If MC had set Carbone on as coach when he sacked BMD he was in for a possible backlash as before. So he sets a nobody on who will cost peanuts to fire and then Benito is put in temporary charge while we search for a replacement. Carbone plays decent football and he gets the job permanently no backlash from fans.
What you think!!

I am worried like most fans but I keep telling myself who would you rather have as owners Bates/GFH or MC?

Enjoy your cruise bud ;)
