If I owned Leeds I would see this year as a year of consolidation, one needs to be reminded, what Cellinoas done, he as bought this club from GFH, with enormous debt and legal problems, he has sold his old club, emigrating his family, negotiating the purchase of Elland rd, plans in progress to build another Thorpe Arch, sell and buy players, make extensive redundancies, rebuild the backroom staff, to coach, several court cases in Italy, winding up orders by Sports direct and Enterprises. Nightmare of a 6 months plan but very productive, assess him at the end of the second season. In my humble opinion he as worked miracles

Good post buddy, things may take a little time, but we needed to change things and that is what `s happening.
I for one think Cellino is the right man at the right time.

Omg finally someone with some sense great post list goes on and on what Cellino has done!
But again as they say you can please some of the fans some of the time but you can't please all the fans all of the time!
joys of being a Leeds supporter!
MOT!

Spot on. He has been in legal control for only a few months. What he has achieved in that short time is incredible.

What are we doing with the Ross 11meg?

Ether which way we'll just suffer with it. even if we go down.

That's what we do. we are Leeds.

Great post Hong Kong.
IMHO Hock is his biggest gamble, an untried coach at this level, but he must have impressed MC during interviews and conversations or he wouldn't have chosen him . I don't buy into the idea it was because he's cheap, he will cost money if we have to pay him off . My take is that he has bought into MC's thoughts on how a team should play and MC is prepared to give him a chance . I would guess that Hock knows what's coming if things don't go to plan.
MC has more than earned our trust up to now and has spent lots of his own money to turn our club around . I am prepared to wait and see as far as the Hock is concerned . let's be brutally honest and say " he couldn't do worse than what we have had over the last few years " A few bad results at the start against Milwall, Boro and Brighton might change my mind though. lol MOT

Yes agreed that Cellino done a very good job OFF the field (business side) but now is the time to build ON the field. I for one think he's made a massive mistake/risk in hiring Hocaday and feel there would be 10x more positivity in Leeds fans if he'd of hired and more crediable head coach for our mighty club.

Now this might sound strange but leeds is not just about the football otherwise I would have quit a good few years ago! It's about the atmosphere, the banter, the chants and that is ultimately the fans! I think back to games like Southampton - 3-0 down and still giving it to their fans for being the quietist on the planet! Clearly we won in an awesome 4 goal come back which made the trip even better! Wembley play off against Donny - leeds fans in Donny end - priceless! (rubbish performance on the pitch that day!) But hat off to one and all - let's get in there and raise every roof and make sure our reputation stands as we stand tall right behind our team MOT
