Apart from needing better players (obvious) what we also lack is any leaders in the squad. We havnt got any. Pearce leads by example but when the chips are down there is nobody on the pitch to galvanize the players. Wilkos team had Sterland, Batty, Chapman and the amazing Strachan.Even OLearys young team had Ferdinand, Kelly, Dacourt, Bowyer and Viduka. All players who, when things were not going well, would step up and grab the game by the scruff of the neck, so to speak! Real leaders is what we badly need. So where is the next Stachan and Vinnie Jones, who I almost forgot, going to come from? I tell you what though, we can't keep buying these young foreign lads and expect to get out of this league, no matter how exciting they may seem. I hope the young Brazilian lad signs but I would love a player like Jones beside him and a Strachan kind of player to lead the way. MOT.

I seem to remember viduka was fantastic when we were doing well but when we struggled he totally lost interest. The others I agree with
