What's the point in having an academy if we end up selling players that have come through it. ie Milner, Lennon, Delph etc.
Surely the amount it costs to run an academy is a lot more than you would ever get back by selling these players. We might as well get rid of the academy altogether if all we are doing is developing players from a very young age only for them to leave.
If I were the finance director of a top premier league club I'd do away with the academy and just go to lesser clubs and pick off their academy player's after that club has spent all the time and money developing them.
(oh yeah that's what they do now!)

A lot of clubs rely on young talent to fund the running of their club.
Leeds should not be in this position but if ridiculous offers come in then they will probably be considered.

If a club wants to pay 10million plus for Mowatt, Cook or anyone else we would be mugs not to take it atm. However I just can not see MC selling anyone who wants to stay at LUFC. In fact hasn't he said time and again he will not sell our youth as they are needed when we are promoted next year.

I can see your point spain and 10 mill is a lot of money but if we don't need it I would refarin from selling I think they are both quailty and worth more to team. I also think both could become 20m plus players if they prgress well, that said i'd sell sam b for 5mill
