Why Leeds must not sell McCormack
Ross McCormack has been under a lot of speculation over a move away from Elland Road this last few weeks. Blackpool and Middlesbrough are known to have had bids rejected, the latest for around 1.3 million. There is now talk of Celtic being interested, a Club that Ross supported as a boy and I am sure he still does to this day, this could just be poor street gossip though. With all that said, Leeds and Brian McDermott have more or less laughed these bids off and Ross has openly admitted on Twitter that he doesn't want to leave, even saying to one fan from Blackpool that he will see them on Boxing day, the day Leeds play them after the fan implied that Ross was signing for them.
It is essential that Leeds keep him for many reasons and for those that say he doesn't score enough goals then you need to watch his all round game and where he has been playing for the team. Ross can run with the ball, take on defenders and has the skill to create something for the team and of course an eye for goal. People say that he doesn't score enough, well that's easy to answer as he hasn't been playing as an out right Striker. Due to the minimal ability out wide in this current squad Ross is having to play off the strikers in order to try and crate something, a job that in time a winger or attacking midfielder will do which will allow him to push further forward. For the time being he is doing a job for the team and doing it well. The goals will come, but if he is to be sold who else in the squad will replace his ability and for a poor 1.3 million reportedly offered who can you get to replace him, an established team member that seems to be the centre of all things Leeds United. I believe Ross McCormack has the ability to be a Captain and although I am usually against an attacking player getting it, I think he fits the role perfectly and who knows he could be the vice Captain to Rodolph Austin.
Other people will have their opinion on Ross McCormack and mine is that he shouldn't be sold. Build the team around him, Austin/Murphy, Byram and Lees and the future will be bright. The reported 1.3 million fee is laughable, You know it, I know it, Brian and GFH will know it and I am pretty sure Ross values himself a lot more than that!
Lets keep the faith and support the lads

Not sure if I see this as the best of news as the reason he is lenavig Cardiff is because he wants to play not be on the bench, I believe he was number 4 choice at Cardiff so how good is he now? This means he will be seeking some assurance on this as a condition of signing. That in turn means one of the 2 striking positions is taken up and all others having a scrap, this despite him being an unknown quantity at the moment.I would be pissed off f I was Somma having just had the chance to show what I was worth, Paynter too will not be sure of a start when fit again.Grella is once again being sidelined. The strike force is getting too big, too many will be fairly confident they will spend all their time on the bench,
