did you ever watch Trafford at Burnley Ed? he made many outstanding saves including penalties and is a very good keeper. Definitely didn't just live off the Burnley defence.

Wonderful result last night. I thought it would be a case of how many when the first went in but we somehow managed to get the draw against the run of play. I will take a point away from home all day long.

I’ve got to eat humble pie Alf, I admit I was frustrated when I saw Gruev on the team sheet, I thought having 2 defensive midfielders in him and Amps was the wrong tactic against a struggling team at home, but Gruev was fantastic, pretty much every pass was a forward one, looking to transition into attack all the time.
We attacked from the start, with pace and physicality, and made a decent team with some very good players, look very poor, ripped apart by Gudmondson and Okafor time after time, and controlled with ease at the back by Pascal, Rodon and Justin. Another top performance from Brenda, fabulous again, he’s gone from a player I thought was simply not good enough, to one who’s name is one of the first on the team sheet.
Praise needs to go to DF for the way we were set up and the way we played, 100% the right way to go about it, showing up Dyche, which is always nice.
Awesome and a super important result, let’s pray for Burnley to do a job for us. A win for Burnley and a few lengthy injuries for Bowen and Jimmy, and Wet Spams season is over!

The best thing Farke has done for me, is given us an element of expectation for every match, regardless of who we’re playing.
We probably won’t win any of the next three, but it wouldn’t surprise me if we do.

Agree Ani and MG. On the word "expectation" Ani, yep; we all have to feel as tho we can take something from anyone if we perform. At the same time he isn't allowing opposition to be confident of what to "expect"! The move to a fluid 343 can't have been expected, and definitely caught Dyke out.
Big kudos to Farkey for turning things around and creating the spirit in the squad that helps deliver on his instructions.

I ended up with an older woman at a club last night.

I think our 'infringement' was the double administration and non compliance with insolvency rules so not quite the same but was still much harsher than the one Leicester just got. Luton's 30 PT reduction was the largest deduction in football to date so we were still nowhere near that!

Apparently Perri wasn't first choice. Farke wanted one keeper, the club wanted a different keeper so Perri was a compromise. It's one reason why Farke, who is usually loyal to his picks, was so quick to drop him.

Sland only really need 3 or 4 more points and would have to go on a horrendous run to fail there with what, 12 games remaining. Fulham probably need 5/ 6 more and again hard to see them not getting that before the end of the season. You never know in football though of course.
