Bremner left Leeds in 1976 Paul Hart joined Leeds in 1978 Arthur Graham 1977, Ray Hankin 1977
He looks a bit like Keith Parkinson from the 1970s Leeds team and a little bit like Alan Peacock of 60s Leeds team.

According to some bloke called OzWhite on his website which seems to cover a great range of stuff on our Club’s history, including every friendly from 1919 to 2016 - there was a Peter Lorimer Testimonial at Dens Park in April 1978, in which a Lorimer Select XI beat Dundee 2-3. Players in the Select XI included Geoff Salmons of Leicester City - contemporary pictures of the guy suggest he could be the mystery man behind Bremner. Other players included John Connelly of Birmingham City - who could just be the guy between Billy and Peter - and Dundee GK Allan Thomson - who may be the bloke (who could feasibly be wearing a Dundee top, given the shape and size of the badge) to the right of the first mystery man. Incidentally, the lower of the partly blocked out words on the stand could be DUNDEE - as you can see the last letter is E and third last is probably D.

It’s harsh because the transfer window is not closed. A large part of the transfer activity happens at the end of the window, but as I’ve said before it’s something you don’t care about so long as you can have a dig and a moan.
Oh and I’ve changed my mind, it’s not funny at all, just sad.

I’m not convinced the issue is the tactics, because if they exist, it wouldn’t explain the inconsistency of the players over the three games thus far. Essentially those tactics have been the same for the three games however individual players have performed wildly differently.
Kane, non existent in the first game, marginally better in the next two.
Bellingham and Rice, mighty in the first 45 minutes and then have been very poor ever since.
My own thoughts are, some of the players just don’t have the balls to do what they do week in week out (which could I suppose be because of tactics) . When will Saka take his man on? Some players are just out of form and it’s questionable if they should be playing. Trippier has been in woeful form, since the turn of the year. I accept Southgate has little option but to play him, but Shaw is a better option when fit. TAA is very much a confidence player (for Liverpool) ; he’s not confident playing in an unfamiliar role for England. Southgate is culpable but not totally at fault…. the players need to grow some (along with Southgate) , get some air in their lungs and go for it.

Should've taken Tyrick Mitchell. Had a cracking back half of the season at Palace. Southgate picked his faves instead, knowing Shae was crocked. Seems idiotic to me.
I think there's some truth to what you say there, Ani tbf, but I do think they're hamstrung by the negative tactics being imposed. Just hope things change Sunday!
