Like I said, NOTHING WILL CHANGE!
The only 2 wingers we had on the field to create any chances for us this Donut manager takes Both off and Brings on the two slowest players in Bamford and Piroe who can't get past my granny. Piroe only scores when he has others creating for him. Why the hell he take both wingers off. We had momentum after we scored and than again poor manager decisions cost us.
I said it last season. No guts no Glory! Same old same old.
1.) 01 Oct 2024 22:23:36
I saw this on another forum and is pertinent
"Farke is a good general for building a plan before the war BUT absolutely out of his depth leading us into battle and on the battlefields "
2.) 01 Oct 2024 22:29:13
The ref not giving a stone wall pen cost us.
Motm tonight for Norwich was the ref.
Playing 12 men most weeks takes its toll.
3.) 01 Oct 2024 22:31:40
Weird subs to make when we had them under the cosh. Our put of possession work was causing them issues. So to take the players off who were capable of keeping that up to replace with two slow players mid boggling.
All I can think is he was happy for a point and had one eye on Friday. But even then, it's not a good excuse, as there were 3 points to be taken at that juncture tonight.
Hopefully Gruev's injury is just enough to make him miss the rest of tonight's game and nothing more.
4.) 01 Oct 2024 22:43:26
Can only think that he felt he needed to rest them ahead of Friday at Sunderland. Given that currently they are our only fit first team wingers, I guess there is a little sense in that, frustrating though that is, probably for Farke as well as fans and the players themselves, as everyone would have preferred 3 points.
5.) 01 Oct 2024 22:49:19
Because we have a game in 3 days and they were tiring and becoming less effective. Norwich were beginning to get on top and he made changes to try and deal with that.
Overall, given the Amps issue and then Gruev, I think it was a solid performance and I’m happy for a good point away from home.
Note, in most games teams only have two wingers on the pitch at any time and most goal scorers do so because the rest of the team create chances for them.
6.) 01 Oct 2024 22:49:52
Resting players for Friday.
7.) 01 Oct 2024 22:50:36
Piroe’s been scoring every time he comes on, a natural decision for the coach I thought. Norwich were well set up and very fast, when we broke and countered them they were as quick as us. A point is a good result against them at their ground.
We did lose some momentum after the substitutions but I thought they also stepped it up in the last 20 mins, don’t think it would have made any difference had the substitutions had been made or not.

After we lose to Cardiff (Bottom of the table) this weekend, D Farke will be Fired and should be Fired! If not there will be more Playoff Heartbreak heading our way.
1.) 15 Sep 2024 17:52:51
Replace with whom though Hooksie?
There lies an issue.
2.) 15 Sep 2024 19:04:37
whomever Baz. If we keep doing what where been doing, We will Keep getting what we have been getting!
3.) 15 Sep 2024 19:34:19
Farke has the next 5/ 6 games.
4.) 15 Sep 2024 19:38:03
Club are keen on Corberan but will to trigger his release clause and he may not be keen to leave WBA right now although he has always been keen on the Leeds job.
5.) 15 Sep 2024 19:48:36
Dill’s pick Igor Tudor seems still to be available. Graham Potter is still free, if he wanted to return to his wife’s home county, having picked up his Honorary Doctorate from Leeds Becketts Uni in June - though perhaps he’s hoping for another immediate Prem chance, or the England post. Gus Poyet is free, might be popular with some, may feel he has unfinished business here, and appears more tactically flexible than DF. It would be interesting to hear Dill’s views on Gus, and some of the others that could perhaps be tempted to take the hot seat at Elland Road if 49ers decided a change was needed.
6.) 15 Sep 2024 19:59:19
Corbs would be great with this squad.
7.) 15 Sep 2024 21:10:21
Alf, If he has 5/ 6 games our season is over. He wins 2 out of 6 and the 49er's will keep him and that's when our season ends. We waited too late before and we continue making the same mistakes. D Farke has been piss poor and It's costing us again. Just speaking facts.
If he proves me wrong than I'll definitely give him his Due. Can't see it happening though.
8.) 15 Sep 2024 21:11:22
They're putting the feelers out Alf?
Doesn't sound like it's just fans over reacting. It feels like a lot of people want more, positive results. Farke has shown that he can do it, but can he get that mojo back and do it again, consistently?
When you're the manager, you take the glory and the stick.
9.) 15 Sep 2024 21:30:43
Super defensive tactical boring corboran? because he has won so much.
10.) 15 Sep 2024 21:59:23
I like Corberan, good coach, but I seem to remember he didn’t fancy the Leeds job before Farke joined us and signed a 4 year extension with WBA. The Leeds manager job is a difficult one, the fan’s expectations is often very high and because of our history we have teams like in this league who will constantly play with extra determination to beat us.
I can see why Carlos Corberan opted out, it’s a great job to get but comes with a massive ball and chain.
11.) 15 Sep 2024 22:11:23
It would not surprise me at all if Mr Marathe and Co were putting out feelers
Along with the end of last season debacle . Leeds under Farke don't convince this season.
12.) 15 Sep 2024 23:56:03
The Leeds manager job is the easiest in the EFL but it requires you to do little managing Vs other clubs.
ER need a showman manager, someone to get the crowds pumped up, to get belief injected into the team.
Standing on the sidelines with arms folded and a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp does nothing for the crowd, which does nothing for the players.
13.) 16 Sep 2024 00:59:27
MOTagain superb set of posts today.
14.) 16 Sep 2024 07:00:01
MoT it’s not an easy job and that is the reason that no manager/ coach could get us back to the Premiership after 17 years until Marcello turned up. That also included mangers who won promotion before like Monk, Colin, MacDermott etc.
What kind of showman manager are you looking at? Allardyce maybe, whoops failure.
We tried to get quality managers before with Radz, which included Slot and Iraola, guess what, they didn’t want to come to Leeds.
Face the facts MoT instead of dreaming.
Baz, is it necessary to praise MoT’s posts every time he responds to one of my posts. You wouldn’t be trying to score points over other fellow posters again would you Baz?
Naughty boy.
15.) 16 Sep 2024 09:25:15
Opti,
Managers won't come to Leeds because the shirt is heavy. Many players, commentators and managers have discussed the atmosphere at Elland road. If that is something a manager doesn't like, they won't come.
Look at any game from last season, the majority of them had the fans singing before we scored, then when we did, even if we were behind, the fans got louder and louder and we were knocking them in for fun.
You could feel the delight when we faced Leicester and Norwich. Even watching games, you can feel the excitement and anticipation that "were going to score soon". None of that is there anymore.
A Leeds manager has to manage the team, sure. But they need to know how to manage the crowds and built the excitement for the fans. The fans are the twelfth player on the pitch, something that has been discussed before.
It might sound wild but it's true. Bielsa played new and exciting football, he got the fans and the crowd behind him.
Leeds with their head down never win. Leeds with their chins up with the crowd behind them are giant killers.
16.) 16 Sep 2024 09:50:06
OP . not just MOTalaw but Dill's posts too are also excellent re Farke
( Kevin Keegan voice ) " I am lurving it . )
Berma and OP . so misguided on Farke. he ain't the man to get Leeds promoted . and in EPL he is proven a disaster
the likes of Moyes and Potter have far better records in EPL.
17.) 16 Sep 2024 10:00:48
Fact . Another really good post from MOTalaw. he has raised his game.
The only counterpoint MOT is again I ask you why you predicted at start of season that Leeds would smash league with 8 games. clearly never happening esp given your reticence and critique of Farke?
18.) 16 Sep 2024 10:14:14
Lol OP! Baz is doing exactly what he had a go at me about with your posts!
I do feel there are some good points that come thro a lot of MoT’s posts, and it’s great to have him here as a regular now.
However. And this is a big one. The pressure, the expectation, as a one club city, fanatics literally as fans, great following week in and out, the clamour for success, the atmosphere, the heritage and tradition, the squad ability, the new owners, plus many other factors, make it one of THE biggest and most difficult, yet potentially rewarding, jobs in certainly U. K. football, and probably beyond. That is not arrogance, nor delusional, nor living in the past.
19.) 16 Sep 2024 10:14:52
Corberan is far more versatile than Farke, Bermo. He's had to be because of his squad. He adapts to different teams and he's certainly more well prepared. Guessing you've not watched him much last few seasons if you think he's super defensive tactically.
20.) 16 Sep 2024 10:43:40
Yep I be doing a " Brighty Bandwagon"
With the crucial difference I am doing it to truly excellent posts
You Brighteth were not ???.
21.) 16 Sep 2024 11:39:14
So now you’re resorting to pure opinion slating, and an “if you don’t agree, you’re wrong” approach. Very good. Are you just a new breed of Victor Meldrew? Stubborn to the point of ignorance, unwilling to listen to perspectives other than those that suit your own negative agenda, and simply grumpy as ****?
22.) 16 Sep 2024 14:30:49
Baz,
I'll admit, arms up, that I never considered the possibility that Farke would be on the same lack of form as last season, though I did believe (and hopefully mentioned) that RB/ 49ers would shed Farke if he didn't get the team back to its best. He has so far failed to do that so the rumours of him going reassure me that 49ers/ RB are taking no prisoners.
It may be a tactical decision by 49ers to not buy a CF, I know that sounds crackers but if we did buy one and he papered over the cracks of Farkes weaknesses, would we repeat last season where we fall apart on the final stretch?
We have enough goal scorers in the team to get us through to January, but if they're not working, then a CF means little.
23.) 16 Sep 2024 14:46:55
Cheers for the well reasoned calm and thoughtful reply MOT
As you know I haven't been convinced by DF for a year. since he got absolutely out thought by Russell Martin in an abject Leeds away perfomance followeed by further woeful away performances at Rotherham, Sunderland, Preston, Baggies in Nov and Dec 2023.which cost us promotion imo
We need better than Farke to go up.
24.) 16 Sep 2024 15:58:28
Yes Baz and how your opinion has changed within a very short period. So, like I tried to convey to you before, are you sure you don’t want to change your famous prediction of Leeds finishing top of the league if Farke is still with us?
Come on where are we going to finish now if Farke stays?
I’m sure that will change again in a couple of weeks though knowing you.
25.) 16 Sep 2024 17:16:56
Mg predictions and opinions have not changed at all OP.
1 I haven't rated Farke since last September 2023 since Saints 3 vs Leeds1
2 Woeful Champo level this season 24/ 25 that even Farke should just about get Leeds over promotion line
3 if he falters in next matches his successor should get Leeds promoted
I am sticking with 1st all season . no change fella . hard lines OP.
26.) 16 Sep 2024 19:54:20
"We need better than Farke to go up"
That was in your post before mine, what happened the 1st and promotion then?
Sorry Baz but I don’t think you know what you post even directly after posting.
27.) 16 Sep 2024 23:06:03
Yes OP we need better ( Kieran McKenna standard ) than Farke as we should and would already be promoted to EPL in season 23/ 24
And in weaker Champo 24/ 25 . with a better coach we sprint over the promotion line rather than limp over it with Farke ( or perhaps still narrowly miss out on promotion again with Farke.
28.) 16 Sep 2024 23:08:00
. Moyesy for Leeds . OP.
29.) 17 Sep 2024 08:42:02
I bloody well hope not.
29 Aug 2024 12:39:08
If we get Hamer and I think we will, There's only one person that could prevent us from automatic promotion (winning the Championship)
The same person that cost us last season.
You all know who that is!
1.) 29 Aug 2024 13:17:10
I think this is a Baz burner account - same negative, anti-Leeds views!
2.) 29 Aug 2024 13:42:15
NOW that was almost amusing Alfonzo .
So lol the rhetoric now for you is that ANYONE being critical constructively, factually or otherwise is now " anti Leeds "
get over yerself fella.
3.) 29 Aug 2024 13:51:55
Which one of the whole team are you blaming on not showing up for last 10 games bi tri.
4.) 29 Aug 2024 13:55:10
Alf. Its not negative views. My views are based on facts! The Facts are that D Farke cost us promotion last season. If he didn't then you tell me why we are not in the PL.
5.) 29 Aug 2024 14:42:57
Well, here was me thinking Mez was going to get the blame! ??
I’ve read it from Baz many times that the players who took their foot off the gas / underperformed in the run in were mostly to blame, and this is therefore exhibit A for the defence that Farke is not guilty of this accusation.
6.) 29 Aug 2024 15:25:06
I've been a farke critic as much as the others but now's the time to give him his chances. if we go on a winning streak, then yeah, farke is a good fit. If we continue to struggle with the new signings, then farke isn't a good fit.
Let's see what happens after the two week break, give him chance to train the new team.
He still has til Xmas before the knives should come back out.
7.) 29 Aug 2024 15:37:05
Burnout cost us promotion last season, slow start to season, great effort to get in with a chance, international break, players came back and lost form all at the same time, not enough strength in depth to turn it around . 3 or 4 good loan signing for half a season . Say 5 million in wages would have got us up . Cost 49’rs £100 million plus
Hope lesson has been learnt.
8.) 29 Aug 2024 17:15:23
Whole host of reasons Tri. Football ain't as simple as you make it out to be with that ridiculous statement.
Baz - no, not anyone, mainly yourself.
9.) 29 Aug 2024 17:27:34
The op is anti leeds it’s just narrow minded and shows a pathetic lack of understanding of football!
Last summer and the car crash that was leeds had nothing to do with it then!
10.) 29 Aug 2024 22:52:55
Like it or not Berma. Hooksies opinion is one held by many.
11.) 30 Aug 2024 09:09:29
Baz dictionary corner: Many = a few.
12.) 30 Aug 2024 11:13:43
Nope Brighteth
a few on here . but many everywhere else.
12 May 2024 13:57:47
THAT WAS TOTAL GARBAGE! Southampton and Brom are licking their lips looking at that trash.
1.) 12 May 2024 14:20:00
Garbage from an entertainment point of view but somewhat predictable from two teams not in form playing for safety.
Both teams showed zero bravery and the outcome will be decided more than likely with a penalty shootout at Elland rd, unless there is one big error that allows someone to score a goal.
What did you seriously expect?
2.) 12 May 2024 14:25:53
You tell em ? Hooksie.
3.) 12 May 2024 14:36:25
Yes the game was garbage but DF set out his game plan from the kick off, first and foremost he didn’t want to concede so that was achieved, then it was a case of stopping them playing their football, again this was achieved. Unfortunately Cry and Georginio hadn’t anything to offer as both were bad which made this match garbage for the watching fans, but the back four were great, midfield ok and attack was not good, totally missing Bam, I thought DF made a mistake not using MJ. Apart from that we had a good penalty shout turned down and a clean sheet as well. Meslier was bad his distribution was terrible. So couple of issues to sort out and bring on Thursday as Wembley beckons ??.
4.) 12 May 2024 15:27:06
OP So Canaries through to Wembley then. Meslier has never saved a PK for Leeds.
5.) 12 May 2024 15:39:10
You speak of " zero bravery " OP.
That most certainly applies to DF in players up front selection and substitutions timings.
Whilst I applaud his wise strengthening of midfield personnel numbers today
For the home match DF needs to be " brave " and less arrogant/ stubborn to drop Rutter and Summerville for MJ and DJ ( if fit enough to start or Antony )
Gnonto DJ and MJ start we have a good chance to win on Thursday.
6.) 12 May 2024 15:40:23
Tentative, yes. Garbage? Maybe a bit OTT.
A big tactical shift from Farke which paid off in the main. Woody is right in that BamBam is a big miss. Gio just not at the races at the moment, and sadly nor was Cree, so a creative spark was lacking. We did manage to show up a few times with flowing play, but nowt like we saw at the turn of the calendar year.
It’ll be an atmosphere like some of the lads have never experienced at home on Thurs. The question is how they respond to it.
7.) 12 May 2024 15:48:48
Woody mate DF setting out his game the same thing as before did work and not playing MJ what the hell is going on we need to be on our game ER otherwise it’s where it will end my friend.
8.) 12 May 2024 16:10:23
We usualĺy play better when Bamford plays
BUT .
Bamford is a huge choker on pressure games hence his bottling " knee bruise " feeble excuse to miss final games of -season for 3rd year in a row
In which case with that mentality better for team he off pitch.
9.) 12 May 2024 16:12:42
George is ✅️ correct IF it goes to pens Leeds are forked . Mes in goal. ugh.
10.) 12 May 2024 17:38:00
Darlow equally guff on Penos tho, so making a sub not an option either.
I’ll probably cark it if it goes to that conclusion anyway, so that’s a bonus for some!
11.) 12 May 2024 17:47:43
Agree re Darlow even worse
Leeds normally have very good gks . throughout the decades. but 2017 to 2024 been off it.
Needs sorting.
05 May 2024 14:37:48
Hey Guys, I need some help with something I'm trying to do.
My 22 yr. old daughter is graduating from the University of Sussex in Brighton with her masters degree in July 2025. She is a HUGE leeds fan like me and we watch every game together while talking on the phone. Instead of getting a gift for her achievements my wife and I want to surprise her by taking her on a tour of Elland Road.
1. What is the best way to get to Leeds From Brighton? Train? fly?
2. Who do I contact at Leeds to book a tour of Elland Road?
3.My BIGGEST surprise to her that I'm trying to pull off is for her to meet Archie Gray at the stadium.
She is a BIG fan of Archie and would probably Cherish this visit for the rest of her life as will myself.
Would appreciate if anyone could help guide me in the right direction. MOT.
1.) 05 May 2024 15:30:57
John Wayne is best way getting up from Hove, Contact stadium/ website directly for tour info
And I would suggest contacting Archie through social media to ask on your request for a meet, maybe easier to achieve that if you went out to Thorp Arch if you had the the spare time, Match day may be awkward to meet up
If your in UK for a few days, may I suggest you visit the National Football Museum in Manchester, it's fantastic, every football fan will love it, not a 3 minute walk from Manchester Victoria station
Well worth the effort.
2.) 05 May 2024 18:04:04
Perhaps MG can help ( re AG ) as he is neighbours with King Eddie.
3.) 05 May 2024 19:28:47
Thanks for the advice, Guys.
4.) 05 May 2024 19:54:47
Bermuda - a Thameslink train will get you straight to St. Pancras from Brighton, then a 2 minute walk over to KX from where you get your train direct to Leeds centre. No need to book Thameslink but book your train from KX direct with LNER. If you do it in advance you’ll get better rates - incl. on 1st class if you want to treat yourself.
If you’re not a member, book one of the hospitality packages at ER. I’ve done it a couple of times with non member mates. You can do that well in advance and that also helps with train bookings. The hospitality grub is good and the booze is complementary (the one I did anyway) . You’ll also meet Leeds fans from all over - Norwegians, Irish and Aussies on my table last time. Plus ex players hosting. If you do hospitality for a 3pm kick off, you need to be at ER by 12.30pm to make it worth it - so factor that into your travel time from the south coast. Go up Friday night maybe. Plenty reasonable Hotels near Leeds station.
5.) 05 May 2024 21:06:12
Thanks a million Manston. Really appreciate it! This sounds like the easy part. Trying to keep it a secret from my daughter may be my biggest challenge.

25 Oct 2024 13:22:18
Southampton are desperate and could do us a huge favor.
29 Aug 2024 12:25:20
Add the other donkey Bamford and Piroe and they may think about it.
29 Aug 2024 12:21:42
They will no way in hell want Piroe the Donkey!
25 Aug 2024 18:12:59
Both he and Bamford could play cards while out Injured.
21 Aug 2024 21:35:27
That's what I want to hear Dill!
Bermuda Triangle's banter replies
26 Oct 2024 20:46:41
Berm, All teams have injuries! that's why they have a squad. Poor a$$ excuse IMO. As far as I know DF picks the team so blame him for playing Injured players. We have young talent on the bench and he still refuses to give them a chance. What better time to test them then early in the season. Why have an Academy if your manager is never going to push them.
Injuries are not good for teams. BUT! Never should be used as an excuse.
26 Oct 2024 15:36:29
Goalkeeper, Bogle, Sam, Rodon, Pascal, Tanaka, Rothwell, BA, Gnonto, and Piroe (starting) . All ten players never looked like they could shoot let alone score!
26 Oct 2024 12:05:54
Still believe Joseph is our Best Striker and should start up top. Piroe loves scoring off the bench when we are ahead. Whenever everyone is fit (which is never) Piroe nor BA should start.
Leeds Triangle 2 Bristol 0 James and MJ goals.
25 Oct 2024 13:25:34
There's only one person that could save Kalvin Phillips, MB!
23 Oct 2024 16:15:41
George, the Bermuda Assassin Nahki Wells and Bristol City will get swallowed up by our Leeds Triangle this weekend!
