Apparently Leeds AND Sunderland are looking at Boga. Knowing our luck we'll win this battle as he's proper pony!
1.) 11 Jul 2025 03:51:58
Just get Solomon in. He ain’t getting game time at spuds. Just buy him. Stop stuffing around.
Boga 21 games 1 goal 1 assist. That better not be the level we are considering.
2.) 11 Jul 2025 07:04:18
Agree with Aus. Boga's return last year was poor for both goals and assists and his scoring record over his career isn't good. Solomon had the chance of a long run of games last season and showed what he can do with both goals and assists. Even when he was subbed and didn't like it he came back with another performance. Kudus already signed by Spurs and rumours that they've triggered Gibbs White release clause and medical booked. Solomon won't get much if a look in.
There is talk that Trabz have bid £7m for Boga. Even at that price I'd rather pay double for Solomon.
3.) 11 Jul 2025 08:39:43
Get Manor!
4.) 11 Jul 2025 09:39:45
We need better than Solomon to stay up, he won't be playing Plymouth and Swansea next season
I know for a fact the club are aiming higher.
5.) 11 Jul 2025 13:09:11
6ft 4?
6.) 11 Jul 2025 14:43:12
It’s got to be telling you lads, as soon as we did nt go straight back in for him speaks for its self not strong enough, be exactly like aronsen, little push and he s over, want somebody bit bigger stronger on the ball got to be loads out there, but the thing that’s getting me going again is Leeds as every window that comes along linked with everyone they saying we’re linked to diouf, another senaglise gent and he s the one we should be buying young, can play in 4 positions absolutely killed saka when played England the other day but Leeds and the gent that is mr underwood says no because he s worth 21 million come on for them players play anywhere you ve got to spend.
7.) 15 Jul 2025 19:54:24
But lads that’s Solomon s league come on you must be barking if you really think he would do it in premiership seriously its different gravy you would be better off going with someone like boga who has more scope to improve unless Leeds gets this right we will be back in the wilderness again and as hard as it is now to get deals done it’s going to be twice as tough, but I still think 3 cracking deals have passed us by like if we’re scouting players but then other teams go for them we will simply pull out, that ain’t the way it works if you ve done your work and scouted them then buy them.
05 Jun 2025 22:41:14
Hope the Paixao rumours are true and we manage to sign him. Great talent.
1.) 06 Jun 2025 06:30:43
He would fit perfectly with Solomon and James. Him as a 10 would cause serious headaches for their defence.
2.) 06 Jun 2025 08:42:24
Arsenal now looking likely to make an offer.
3.) 06 Jun 2025 13:21:25
That seems to be the way, Leeds get interested in a player and a bigger club swoop in and take him.
The big teams fear Leeds rising to their former glory, and for good reason.
4.) 06 Jun 2025 15:25:47
Agree mot. Very steep hill mate. Bit by bit. Survive. Improve and attract. Easy inninit.
5.) 06 Jun 2025 17:10:16
Could all just be smoke screens for our real targets? Look at Ao for instance?
05 Jun 2025 14:37:56
We may go back in for Matt O'Riley at Brighton?
Tried to get him from Celtic before he signed for the seagulls. Good player and would be a massive upgrade on Aaronson.
1.) 05 Jun 2025 16:10:43
have we been linked Corkey or are you suggesting it?
2.) 05 Jun 2025 17:33:00
I've read that we are still interested, and he is unhappy with his role there.
3.) 05 Jun 2025 17:58:19
Just suggesting.

I effing love Simon Jordan.
1.) 08 Oct 2025 00:23:28
Please explain corkey.
2.) 08 Oct 2025 06:50:17
Yes i'm a big fan. Very intelligent guy and tells it like it is.
3.) 08 Oct 2025 07:26:24
Totally agree Corkey; a very insightful bloke, who would be great to have on our board in some capacity, tho I'm sure he gets plenty of offers!
Gotta say tho, I've missed what he's said this time!?
4.) 08 Oct 2025 09:24:07
Gary Neville Oz.
5.) 08 Oct 2025 09:25:55
Thought you were coming out but after googling it you prob mean you like the blokes radio show or whatever he does ?.
6.) 08 Oct 2025 09:45:54
I don’t know Simon personally but I am good mates with his mate nick Moran and nick said he is a top bloke and I am inclined to agree.
06 Oct 2025 21:57:52
If anyone got a spare hour n a half i highly recommend watching Kenny Dalglish on Stick to Football episode.
If you're a British football lover especially of a certain age it's a not to miss piece of entertainment.
Starts off a bit slow and maybe even awkward but what follows is absolutely brilliant. Even had a lump in my throat at the end.
KD a proper British football legend.
1.) 06 Oct 2025 22:14:58
Agree great interview.
2.) 06 Oct 2025 22:17:58
Totally agree Corkey. Just wish, at times, it came with subtitles.
3.) 07 Oct 2025 07:16:10
Brilliant leodis,
I was in West Lothian last month and as soon as the drinks started going I needed a translator, mind you do did they with me.
4.) 07 Oct 2025 16:34:37
KD one of m, y all time faves.
5.) 07 Oct 2025 18:52:37
Scotlands answer to Brian Deane.
03 Oct 2025 21:06:32
Got to give big credit to the defense this season. Only Three goals conceded from open play.
The other goals conceded from set plays is on the whole team and coaching. Maybe we should stop the zonal marking system?
1.) 04 Oct 2025 04:26:09
Can never make up my mind re zonal. Makes sense in a way but Dosent in another.
27 Sep 2025 20:06:21
Sunderland showing us how it's done by grinding out wins. A long way to go but they were one of the teams I was hoping to be above and avoid relegation.
Today and against Fulham is a minimum of 3 points dropped after playing so well until the last 15 minutes.
Is Farke showing too much respect to these teams and not showing enough faith in our lads?
1.) 27 Sep 2025 21:01:33
Corkster, please don't keep holding up Sunderland as the marker against which we are measured. Honestly, forget em, it's early. Fulham was unfortunate, today again unfortunate, but it's the players switching off Not DF. We bought 10 players in, we tweaked our style, it takes time. But ask yourself, considering our opening fixtures, would you be happy with 2 wins 2 draws 2 defeats? Absolutely!
2.) 27 Sep 2025 21:21:32
Totally agree with the points we’ve gained question.
But we have still definitely dropped 3 points this season. Have to take your opportunities when they come. This is big boy football we are in.
3.) 27 Sep 2025 21:52:12
Understand your frustration Corkster and yes we could have more points than we have. But we could also have less. Think we need to look at the performances, Arsenal apart, very solid. Football is transient, not always best team wins, not always tactics work, so many variables, form, luck, confidence etc, but we have a great team ethos. But is that not the addiction? The belonging, the agony and ecstacy, the uncertainty, the ride?
4.) 27 Sep 2025 22:16:55
In football luck can sway both ways, over a season i believe it generally evens itself out, absolutely not concerned about conceding last minute goals against Fulham and today with Bournemouth.
Farke has got this team going in the right direction and we are improving with every game. We not only matched Bournemouth who are no mugs in this league under Iraola, but we bettered them over the 90 mins.
Cruel finish yes but very happy with the performance today and especially with Farke’s overall decisions and tactics.
Couldn’t give a flying f@@k about Sunderland, they have zero bearing on our club, maybe they survive this season or maybe they don’t it really doesn’t matter either way. Why would it?
5.) 27 Sep 2025 22:27:08
Totally agree the performances have been very good and that’s why I’m frustrated.
Need to make hay when the sun shines and we’ve not done that. We will go through spells with injuries n not playing well so bagging the points now while things are rosie is a missed opportunity.
6.) 27 Sep 2025 23:43:47
Sunderland showing us how it’s dine by not having a huge prs bill. As proven by fact we have 250 million
Debt poor old genius farke has to cover.
So Sunderland secret to success. don’t hire Belisa. That’s just facts but for some reason Leeds fans won’t have it. The 250 deficit we had before farke joined appeently is farke fault? Would make me laugh if I wasn’t in tears of frustration.
7.) 28 Sep 2025 04:06:48
That is one very boring post bermo.
8.) 28 Sep 2025 11:38:31
But it’s spot on ain’t it aus, your posts are boring. As least mine have facts and a touch of logic.
9.) 28 Sep 2025 12:02:48
And factually incorrect, just a simple review of Transfermarkt here
Clearly shows every Leeds United window including players in and out.
But hey never let facts get in the way of your chosen narrative.
10.) 28 Sep 2025 13:06:15
Bermo spouting utter bollox again! God knows where he gets his stats from?
11.) 28 Sep 2025 13:10:17
Class leeds bloke (robbie Elliot? ) told leeds journalist
‘When we (49ners) had a debt of over 250 million’ when we took over, we (farke) has done well to balance the books and still achieve (record breaking) promotion, but sins of the past have affected our latest window
Now these are facts given by the clubs senior staff to professional journalists… but don’t worry class you say it’s all lies… so I’ll trust you over them and companies house!
But like mes wasn’t in championship team of the year, leeds fans have some huge blind spots and flaws with logic.
{Ed001's Note - but you said it was Bielsa's fault when he didn't control the money, so no logic, plus no sense as you have no idea how that debt was accrued or who it was owed to for what. You clearly have no understanding of football finances, just a massive chip on your shoulder.}
12.) 28 Sep 2025 16:24:18
Ed it is true Belisa was not in charge for f the finances but he did have huge say in players picked and was responsible for team becoming a joke. Despit le the money being spent (hence he was back with lot of money and time)
Now farke getting hard time despite having far worse fininaces to deal with due to ‘sins of the past’
So my logic is why love Belisa and hate in farke when pound for pound farke doing a far better job? It’s just factually illogical
No chip on my shoulder just a huge dollop of disbelief and frustration
No need for the personal and direct attack on me, that’s not the nature of this forum!
Oh from an Ed as well lol!
{Ed001's Note - if you say so.}
13.) 28 Sep 2025 16:49:11
Great response, no apology for the personal direct and uncalled for attack and when i post logic and point I get that response?
When I am directing i demand a certain kind of ethic, decency and professionalism from my staff. As an Ed I expect the same to be honest.
Slightly dissapointed from what is a good site.
{Ed001's Note - right of course. Give it a rest.}
14.) 28 Sep 2025 18:50:49
Berm the “sins of the past” are Leeds United under the previous ownership giving out crazy contracts, over paying for average players and the majority of those players we signed still owing big money to the clubs we bought them from. Radz also bought the ground back at over 20 million.
So yes the PSR situation wasn’t great this season but that’s not on Bielsa as he had nothing to do with the finances.
15.) 28 Sep 2025 18:57:26
Think it's time to put this one to bed folks. Views on the Messiah and DF are well advertised and have been aired many times, Bermos views are deeply entrenched and no amount of ping pong is going to change that, it just causes friction and animosity when it comes up.
So I would suggest give a dog a nice chew and Bury that old bone, after all ALAW and our beloved club is bigger than everything ?.
16.) 28 Sep 2025 21:12:28
Well said vid
Very happy to bury it like a bone but at the same time I’m not going to ignore bating either I’m just that type of dog.
24 Sep 2025 22:34:42
If Perri is fit for the weekend who starts?
Personally I'd stick with Darlow on current form.
1.) 24 Sep 2025 22:58:14
Agreed. On past history in such situations that's what I expect DF to do.
2.) 25 Sep 2025 00:03:16
Yep. Can’t drop Darlow in this form. Tbh. Wasn’t yet convinced by Perri so an in form Darlow can stay for a while.
3.) 25 Sep 2025 08:02:27
Absolutely Corkster. DF loves sticking if it's working so I would expect the same starting 11 as in the last 2 games, even though alas again this means BA on the right.
4.) 25 Sep 2025 08:39:42
In total contrast to my posts before Darlow played, I agree 100%. Darlow deserves to hold his place, and respect to him for changing a lot of minds thro his performances!
5.) 25 Sep 2025 12:23:05
Few weeks ago I’d of found that a stupid question however darlow has made himself the number 1 and the shirt is his to lose. Fair play to darlow and king may it continue.
6.) 25 Sep 2025 13:09:53
I was of the same matend Bright, but credit where its due, Darlow has stepped right up and looks better with each game. Looking at the options we have I struggle to see how Piroe gets back in, Okafor surely gets a run on tge left, right would have to be between a fit Willy or DJ and DCL looks to be our 9 all the time he stays fit. It's all good going forward and great we have JJ as cover for Boges. Gudmundsson is a real quality addition, love him and Stach too. Add to that Amps who is just class and you have to think AO has a task to get back in to!
7.) 25 Sep 2025 15:25:37
Perri isn't fit, so now a moot point. Not likely to be fit until after the International break. I would have stuck with Darlow regardless.
8.) 25 Sep 2025 17:21:15
Totally agree with all of that Vid!
03 Sep 2025 23:39:02
Couldn’t have put it better myself CW.
01 Sep 2025 20:21:26
Last year of his contract but surely a deal could have been struck?
Say 8 mill with add ons if he played x amount of games and we stayed up.
I didn’t expect Marks n Spencer shopping but definitely not Asda!
01 Sep 2025 20:18:11
Disappointing. Both them players would have helped us especially on set plays.
31 Aug 2025 19:03:19
Class I enjoy your posts but your quote of “someone who wants to wear the shirt” unfortunately is total bollox in today’s game.
As Chris would probably say they are all mercenaries.
Sad but true.
29 Aug 2025 19:05:01
I’d take Hamer, good player. Still underwhelming after the lads we’ve missed out on ?.
14 Oct 2025 21:17:49
Tuchel doesn’t care about big names which is good for the team. Players like Jude Bellingham, although a very good player, can be detrimental to what he’s trying to accomplish. There’s a fine line between confidence and arrogance.
In saying that today’s players in general are a different breed from my heyday.
12 Oct 2025 19:22:35
Jaysus is that you Aus?
You look knackered after that 100m sprint ??.
10 Oct 2025 19:28:58
Potter is a good coach but not for a team potentially fighting relegation. His ideas seem to take ages for the team to get used to.
10 Oct 2025 19:25:44
Unbelievable for a young player to get a standing ovation. He must have felt ten feet tall!
I find it really hard to judge young keepers when I watch them. So tough to project how they will progress.
10 Oct 2025 19:22:04
I’ll tell you what if Pep started playing with two strikers everyone else would follow suit. It’s a copycat game.,
