Just seen on newsnow that OGC Nice striker Terem Moffi is linked with us, he’s in a legal process with Nice to terminate his contract. Not sure of the ins and outs of this with Nice, he’s a 1 in 3 striker across his career and has decent pace power etc.
could be nothing story but if he is available on a cheap or free deal it’s a very Leeds deal to be done.
1.) 12 Jan 2026 17:48:16
A striker like Moffi would be Nice.
2.) 12 Jan 2026 19:05:31
Mo, it’s time to get ya coat. ??.
3.) 12 Jan 2026 21:08:09
I'll get mi coat and call a taxi. If you see my mates, terem amoffi home.
4.) 12 Jan 2026 21:56:51
????.
5.) 13 Jan 2026 07:05:28
That 2nd one Mo! ?????????.
6.) 13 Jan 2026 17:53:46
Moffi is at a tribunal on Thursday with his legal team arguing that his contract should be terminated on personal safety grounds as he and some other players were assaulted by Nice fans in November when the team bus was attacked. Don't think he's played or even trained since then.
30 Dec 2025 08:58:43
Spanish outlet Marca are reporting that Carlos Corberan’s Valencia are in talks to take Jack Harrison in January. I’d guess on loan.
1.) 30 Dec 2025 12:54:29
Fingers crossed dav.
2.) 30 Dec 2025 13:33:29
Aus, it would be a good move for all concerned.
29 Aug 2025 16:19:54
Rumours are Hamer season long loan with obligation £15-20m is nearly done!
1.) 29 Aug 2025 19:05:01
I’d take Hamer, good player. Still underwhelming after the lads we’ve missed out on ?.
29 Aug 2025 11:08:11
Looks like facundo loan deal may be off.
Reports Chelsea are looking at him on a permanent, then probably loan him to Strasbourg.
Makes sense after Encico deal fell through.
I’d be pushing for,
Zuriko Davitashvili ( winger ) £8-10m
christantus Uche ( swap for Piroe )
Brian Brobbey ( loan with obligation)
Gus Hamer £10-15m
Underwhelm it’s time to put some overtime in son and get some deals done asap.
Sorry but with this attack we ain’t staying up, yes I want Farke gone but with this transfer window so far he hasn’t even got a fighting chance.
Okafor injured already! ???.
1.) 29 Aug 2025 11:38:38
Underwhelm does half day on a Friday and doesn’t work weekends
Ouur window is done.
2.) 29 Aug 2025 11:40:47
yes I am hearing this also.
back to the drawing board.
3.) 29 Aug 2025 12:04:27
Only thing with this is Brighton want him to play in is country and are not really wanting to sell so a loan to us would be their preference.
4.) 29 Aug 2025 12:05:21
With all the preparation time they had apparently been doing it for 18months, it’s a bit of a ? show that we are scrambling around like blind mice now.
Most of us guys on here have named a tonne of players that would have been getable, yet here we are.
I’m mystified how it all seeming fell apart after the Paixao debacle.
Too many eggs in 1 basket?
The inability to multitask more than 1 targets at a time?
The insinuation that Stach and Bijol are our marque signings is ridiculous.
Marque signings are the game changers, the sparkler on the cake.
Very workman like but absolutely zero sparkle.
Frustrated that with 3.5 days to go or rather 1.5 scene as underwood seems to not work weekends and still so much to do.
The goal scoring is basically all on DCL now, it’s evident that after what we’ve seen that Piroe and Nmecha aren’t going to bag many between them.
I’d be very interested to know what offers they rejected for Piroe?
It spanks of one eye on the championship for next year keeping him.
Remember Spend every single penny and attack it aggressively.
Very disappointed but hey we wait until Monday 19.00 clocks ticking.
5.) 29 Aug 2025 12:15:33
now hearing this deal isn't dead yet.
6.) 29 Aug 2025 12:17:00
FB becomes 'home grown'next year and worth a lot more in terms of PSR next year so a loan would be more valuable to Brighton.
7.) 29 Aug 2025 12:36:58
Just on ssn we are advancing! Give it an hour and he will be signing for Sunderland.
8.) 29 Aug 2025 14:48:04
looking more and more likely that we will miss out on this one.
9.) 29 Aug 2025 14:52:50
It's off.
A other dodgy deal between clubs. Chelsea buy then loan them to their sister club. RB wouldn't get away with that.
10.) 29 Aug 2025 15:30:46
Romano posting it’s definitely Chelsea, not Strasbourg.
11.) 29 Aug 2025 15:48:11
Chelsea and Strasbourg have the same owners, Dave. BlueCo.
12.) 29 Aug 2025 15:51:06
Can’t understand why Chelsea would loan him! He will barely play!
13.) 29 Aug 2025 16:24:25
Longlostfan, it's a PSR fiddle.
Chelsea buy a player to weaken their opponents then loan him out on the cheap. Strasbourg play him and increase his value then Chelsea flog him next season for a profit.
Doing that is meant to be illegal. Palace lost European football for less. Yet, here we are.
14.) 29 Aug 2025 17:24:18
LLF. Chelsea just worried we're guaranteed 6pts off them if we sign him. This way, they gave a chance at a couple of draws! ??.
15.) 29 Aug 2025 17:27:11
Mo they aren’t buying they are getting him on a season loan with no buy option
Can’t be sent to Strasbourg as they don’t own him.
16.) 29 Aug 2025 18:29:56
Hi Alf, ye I know it’s all under the blue o group but I’d heard he’s to stay at Chelsea as it’s a loan with obligation. According to Fab Rom ( Romano not Romesh)
17.) 29 Aug 2025 19:05:35
No obligation.
18.) 29 Aug 2025 22:38:05
Ah got you Dave. I misunderstood.
17 Aug 2025 21:01:01
A few rumbling tonight that the Okafor deal is progressing.
I can see us signing maybe even 5 more including Okafor.
Him
Dimirovic
Justin
Hamer
Loan - Right winger
I’d be very happy with the window if that’s the case.
Also wouldn’t be surprised to see Largie go out on loan, he’s got bags of quality but needs to be playing, get him a full season somewhere can only benefit us next season, he’s gunna be behind Okafor, Willy and possibly even Jack this season. Either that or play him on the right as an option.
1.) 17 Aug 2025 23:00:16
Wow, can’t see another 5 coming in…until we lose 3 or 4. Even then it’s optimistic. Have seen some buzz about Okafor but too much stuff circulating. We will see…anything but a loss tomorrow ?.
2.) 18 Aug 2025 01:06:57
Demirovic is rumoured to have said a few months ago that he is "not interested in finding a new club".
Has he changed his mind? We can't afford spending too much time chasing a player who doesn't want to come here.
3.) 18 Aug 2025 06:13:07
Demirovic was set to be second choice striker, starting alongside Dennis Undav (formerly of Brighton) this season. Nick Woltemade (unbelievable player) was supposed to be going to Bayern - however the clubs couldn’t agree on a fee (c. €75m+) . As a result he is currently third choice and unlikely to play every week - he might have changed his stance about moving.
4.) 18 Aug 2025 11:23:16
Can’t see five deals being done with the length of time it takes the 49ers to get one deal over the line
Only two weeks of the transfer window left.
5.) 18 Aug 2025 12:29:05
how long do our deals take exactly Haydock, and where have you gained these valuable insights?
6.) 18 Aug 2025 19:52:13
Paraag said tonight that they will working for the “…. next 12-13 days trying to strengthen the team as best we can within the rules…. ”.

Looks like Jack Harrison to Fiorentina on loan with €10m option.
Fingers crossed he performs.
Gets his wages off the books, frees up space for a new face.
1.) 13 Jan 2026 13:22:03
100% Dave. Brilliant in champ. Useless to us now.
2.) 13 Jan 2026 14:07:09
Aus, I’d argue he’s been poor for us ever since we made him a permanent signing. Wish him luck out there and hopefully we get the money for him in the summer.
3.) 13 Jan 2026 15:38:42
Did like him before all the problems then he didn’t want to leave Everton but he also cooked his book there. I don’t think he did his best on the occasion he played for us just didn’t look interested, good news he may be on his why just wish it wasn’t a loan deal because if he’s crap there he will be back would have like the 10 million now.
4.) 13 Jan 2026 16:35:43
I hope he does well out there then it will be the best outcome for both parties.
5.) 13 Jan 2026 17:59:24
The pace in Italy will suit him better; he is a decent player or was when we originally loaned him and actually did quite well in our first EPL season. He's a shadow of that player.
Plenty have left Leeds and other EPL clubs and have turned out to be bargains for those teams.
6.) 13 Jan 2026 18:45:43
No idea why we don't just let them have him for free and have done. No way they will pay £10m for him unless he bucks his ideas up and starts to put some effort in.
7.) 13 Jan 2026 18:47:17
Don’t think there’s any need if any to bash all Harrison’s time with us as not all of it was that bad, I’ve definitely seen worse by others.
The bottom line for me is that he doesn’t in my mind have enough quality for our club to continue in the Premiership.
His time at Leeds is finished and it already was when he departed for Everton in my opinion.
8.) 13 Jan 2026 20:54:14
Interesting that lots of people are saying Fiorentina have a buy option, but Fabrizio Romano's wording actually says 'buy clause', I do hope it's a obligation if they stay up, I know it's not likely but I can hope.
9.) 13 Jan 2026 22:12:09
Harrison who? He was on the team sheet, did he miss the bus or something.
10.) 13 Jan 2026 22:17:35
It's an option Canada.
11 Jan 2026 12:44:27
Oh dear!
I really don’t care about the cup games as we have bigger fish to fry. However, I really do care about possibly losing to Derby given the manner of the defeat to Newcastle. Thus losing 2 in a row and definitely not good for morale or confidence.
Approaching half time and it’s evident as we on hare are all aware the massive drop off all over the pitch when we are forced to make changes.
There just doesn’t seem to be any ambition from the board to push it and go for it in the transfer market.
No coincidence all the stadium news comes out again as a smoke screen like it did in the summer window.
Scares me to death if DCL gets injured.
And please cash in on the enigma/ false profit Wilfred Gnonto.
He is so so poor, never rated him.
1.) 11 Jan 2026 14:01:01
That aged well. But yes, H1 was largely poor.
Big improvement H2, including Gnonto.
And "go for it in the transfer market"? Then what? Get a points deduction next season? So what's the gain?
Don't honestly believe the 9ers have played smoke and mirrors at all. And the stadium upgrade is quite simply just great news coming out as it was approved. Nowt sinister, nowt deceitful.
2.) 11 Jan 2026 14:14:14
Well got to be happy with that I would say Dave, took a while for the fringe lads to get into their stride, adjustment to formation et Al, 8 changes and a result, job done, smashing ?.
3.) 11 Jan 2026 14:54:43
Plus I have to say, JH was appalling, really, what is the point, we can't play him and no one is going to want to buy him, he is stealing a wage.
4.) 11 Jan 2026 15:16:07
Dave, I think you pulled the pin and threw the grenade far too early. It ain't over till its over, and Willy got man of the match.
We are doing great this season, MOT.
5.) 11 Jan 2026 15:25:47
Happy to have won the more we win the better for me.
6.) 11 Jan 2026 15:26:58
Just to follow up, I think Farke's post match summary was absolutely spot on. Needed patience for 8 changed players to get up to speed, and the team to gel, which they did, and then we deservedly won.
A good run out for them, in the scheme of things.
7.) 11 Jan 2026 15:34:18
Harrison put on one of the worst ever shows in a Leeds shirt today.
8.) 11 Jan 2026 16:46:47
I hate to slag players, but yeah, Harrison was cack.
9.) 11 Jan 2026 17:30:58
Harrison didn’t play well, but it was his first start since August. Gnonto was cack in the first half, again his first start for 14 games.
I watch Derby live at home quite often (as an anti fan) and I feared the worst to be honest; their keeper has been their standout all season and the way he started made me worried.
10.) 11 Jan 2026 17:42:52
It did age well, first half in my opinion we were poor, disjointed and didn’t get going.
Credit to Daniel, he changed it for the 2nd half and we looked much better.
On the Gnonto thing, I’ve just never rated him. He’s so inconsistent, petulant and frustrating.
Now no game for a week so can we make some signings please.
11.) 11 Jan 2026 18:53:30
RE Willy Dave, I have to say I love him. In fairness he has had his problems but got his head down, stayed loyal, is obviously totally committed to LUFC if you watch his reactions, application. Gets my vote every time and I think he could be immense for us, there is a very talented player in there.
12.) 11 Jan 2026 19:56:56
Still only 22, and still relatively inexperienced. He'll always have the physical hurdle to overcome, but used his brains in the second half to do so, dropping off his marker more. We'd regret it if we let Gnonto go.
Ani. Yes JH hasn't much game time, but he trains everyday.
Rustiness is understandable under the circumstances, but an inability to execute the very basics most certainly is not. He looked like a player waiting for a contract termination, and a shadow of the player who was so valued under Bielsa.
13.) 11 Jan 2026 21:21:21
That’s JH Bright! It’s odd, when he was on loan to us, I thought he was on the cusp of an England call up. Since we signed him, he’s never been able to do the basics and he was no better at Everton.
{Ed025's Note - he was awful at Everton Ani, all the supporters could not believe how often he was picked mate, £90k a week as well...you could get a proper player for that..
14.) 11 Jan 2026 22:44:49
Willy Gnonto I feel still has a lot offer if he keeps working hard. Mancini when he was head coach for Italy saw the potential in Gnonto and gave him starts for the national team.
I think he needs more game time to improve himself, I hope they give him that opportunity like they did with Aaronson.
Harrison should’ve never come back to the club, his heart is not in it and it shows.
I’ll be amazed if he’s not gone in the summer.
For him his level is most definitely in the Championship, not a natural talent but can work hard.
His days at Leeds are well over.
08 Jan 2026 07:45:21
The morning after the night before!
Gutted, under no circumstances should we have lost that game.
Farke again, in game management was awful.
Perri is utterly rubbish, just a bigger slower Meslier.
Newcastle were battering us down our left so Farke brings on Okafor to play on that side, wrong choice.
So many bad choices from Farke tonight.
We have to
Get Trafford on loan
Get Disasi on loan
Get another LWB ( Gaby needs help)
Get a striker ( it’s too big of a drop off when DCL goes off and we are 1 injury away from a disaster)
1.) 08 Jan 2026 10:29:43
Agree totally.
2.) 08 Jan 2026 12:05:47
Well Dave, I guess it's easy to apportion blame! Seems DF has been under the microscope and pressure since he took the call about the job, which let's face it is one of the toughest managerial jobs in football. He has proved his worth recently and yes mistakes will be made, but with 17 massive games coming up let's be United, support not bash DF and not book Perri a seat next to Mes.
It's a team game, they stand or fall together and unity and mental strength are vital in these coming games.
3.) 08 Jan 2026 13:15:35
Agree with Vid Dave
At what point is it not Danny's fault or let's say Gnontos half arsed attempt to clear the ball which led to their 4th goal
Or the failure to track the corner flag ball that led to another barcodes goal . Or Baracus jumping inside box with arms flapping like Simple Simon
Can't blame Farke for those poor individual errors
Little Caveat however Brendan's best game imo in a Leeds shirt
He played very well.
4.) 08 Jan 2026 13:38:58
We push Newcastle all the way and caused them havoc, only to lose the game by an extraordinary amount of time added on, and the blame is on Farke and his players?
Sounds like there’s massive expectations with our team of Championship quality players.
5.) 08 Jan 2026 14:33:55
OP can’t do right can he ??♂️.
6.) 08 Jan 2026 15:04:58
For once, I agree with you Whiteman.
7.) 08 Jan 2026 16:27:43
Fella’s I’m not totally apportioning blame on Farke, he was bad last night but he has credit for the recent run.
But that doesn’t make him safe from criticism.
I agree that individual errors cost us dear last night.
For me Gnonto should be sold, he’s hardly used and barely has any impact when he does play.
Tanaka should have been on earlier.
My main point is, it’s absolutely vital we get bodies in asap to help the squad and ultimately help Daniel, we are carrying too much dead wood as we are all aware.
I don’t care about the summer budget, we need to primarily make sure we are in this division first, if that means spending £30-40m now or 2/ 3 loans then get on with it.
Farke giving it, it’s too busy now until after the Derby game to make transfers?
Utter rubbish, Underwood and co don’t deal with the squad on a daily basis, they don’t run training sessions etc, it’s their job to get the recruitment done.
I am very worried on how the manor of last nights collapse may effect the team in the next few games.
We are 3 results or an injury away from the relegation zone I might remind.
8.) 08 Jan 2026 17:01:24
Well Dave, let's put a bit of deep heat on that ache. Don't think you can call it a collapse, the players gave everything they could, lady luck frowned. Transfers are sophisticated things, they have to be right and cannot be instant otherwise all would do it and it would work every time. A big part if success is the spirit of the players. Compare ours to maybe Wet Spam, total opposites and spirit and teamwork gets results.
DF stipulated he wanted to be manager not coach when he arrived so has a say in all transfers and does work with the squad every day. Trust him, what is the alternative? Given the chance Wolves, Burnley and Wet Spam would swap with us in an instant and we are making teams take notice, all teams, they know we are not an easy ride now. Continuity is key and right now we are in a good place.
9.) 08 Jan 2026 17:17:52
There was no "collapse" last night.
Those guys fought tooth and nail for absolutely everything, against a more expensive, more talented and more experienced side, that should be in Europe again, and probably the CL with what they have at their disposal.
In my opinion, last night just cannot be viewed thro negative specs at all.
10.) 09 Jan 2026 06:13:07
Don't forget we hit the cross bar and sailed a few goals across an open net which went unconverted. A few shots close to the keeper as well.
We played well. Subs were dodgy but we did well.
07 Jan 2026 07:44:45
Morning siblings, I come hither this morning to apologise!
Yes to apologise, to Adam Underwood and the recruitment team at Elland Rd.
Given the parameters that we are forced to work within.
In hindsight the summer window has been a relative success, with the odd exception.
I feel compelled to say this given the absolutely ridiculous amounts that a certain fee clubs pay for “ok” players, certainly not world class players.
Somenyo now going to Man City (FFP’s love child) for £65m is stupid. He’s never worth that kind of money.
Problem is the trickle down effect, bang average player now going for £20-£30m +, just makes it even harder for the lesser established clubs to survive/ compete.
I actually hate the Premier league, I’m only happy we are in it for the longevity of my club, but it’s as corrupt as it gets. Refs are biased to the “big 6” VAR is a joke again biased for them and so is the PSR/ FFP system.
Football does need a regulator or it needs each club to have its own PPV system and not be held by Sky or any other TV network, to help level the playing field.
Apologies for the rant but it’s killing the game and the love of the fans at working/ middle class level.
The top 6 cartel have a monopoly and it’s cheating everyone else.
1.) 07 Jan 2026 09:45:01
100% on that Davey. Shame they can’t have a computer software where clubs submit their revenue and automatically get fined or deducted points. Take the fallabble humans out the equation. ?.
2.) 07 Jan 2026 17:15:22
agree with you 100% Dave. well said.
3.) 07 Jan 2026 17:38:42
Top post Dave! Well said!
4.) 07 Jan 2026 18:28:22
Thanks fella’s, just pis&es me off that it’s clearly not and will never be a level playing field. City should be under the embargo until this panto is finalised.
05 Jan 2026 10:29:17
I see Amorim has been sacked!
What an absolute mess of a club they are.
So now they’ll bring in another new manager, be allowed to spend another absolute fortune despite crippling debts and start the process again.
PSR is a joke as are Man Poo.
1.) 05 Jan 2026 12:27:17
Man U revenues are so large they are well within PSR.
12 Jan 2026 21:56:51
????.
12 Jan 2026 19:05:31
Mo, it’s time to get ya coat. ??.
06 Jan 2026 21:59:09
He’s surely better value than Parrott.
05 Jan 2026 10:26:12
Maybe in the summer.
02 Jan 2026 16:26:53
Don’t really need another winger given the new system.
13 Jan 2026 14:07:09
Aus, I’d argue he’s been poor for us ever since we made him a permanent signing. Wish him luck out there and hopefully we get the money for him in the summer.
11 Jan 2026 17:42:52
It did age well, first half in my opinion we were poor, disjointed and didn’t get going.
Credit to Daniel, he changed it for the 2nd half and we looked much better.
On the Gnonto thing, I’ve just never rated him. He’s so inconsistent, petulant and frustrating.
Now no game for a week so can we make some signings please.
10 Jan 2026 18:20:04
Only thing I want tomorrow is key players rested, a win and no injuries.
10 Jan 2026 08:46:38
Good post Mel, I’d disagree on Sterling and Macatee.
Neither has the physicality we go for, Nwaneri is a decent shout.
I’d opt for
Gk- Trafford on loan with Option
LWB- Souffian El Karouani
CB - Dhokie
ST- is it worth a cheeky move for DUSAN VLAHOVIC out of contract in June?
10 Jan 2026 08:34:23
Sorry I meant Nmecha/ Gray rather than playing 12 v 11!
