I hope your info is incorrect as we need a 10 and a proper no 9 without a significant injury history - at the moment we have the equivalent of just one no9 - with DCL and Nmecha possibly on a job share in between time on the treatment table. If both are injured at the same time we are truly stuffed as things stand. With Ramazani leaving on loan and Okafor already injured after 1 and a bit games we are also looking very light on the wings. We seriously need someone other than Stach who can take decent set pieces, Stach should be in or outside the box for those, to help get a head on it or get a thunderous strike off following a knock down or clearance. Getting two injury prone strikers on frees is only a good move if the money saved on those transfers is put into other really good (and physically resilient) attacking players. We’ve put down a significant part of that cash on yet another injury prone player, while also letting a very decent winger leave on loan. I for one am seriously underwhelmed to date by our transfer activity at the attacking end of the pitch. We don’t have much time to put it right, and just one further attacking signing is very unlikely to be sufficient.
