Hi all, took my boys to their first game on Saturday and they both loved it. They now want to go to the 4th round (if we are able to get tickets) . Given it's likely to be Millwall, it's going to be a different atmosphere/ fan base than Harrogate. Just wondered on people's experiences of going to a Millwall game with a family. Thanks.
{Ed025's Note - stay at home and watch it MW, Millwall fans are Lunatics and i certainly wouldn,t be going there never mind with my family mate, im an Evertonian and lots of our fans were slashed in 2019 at the Den and its just not worth it imo..

Thanks Ed, those were my initial thoughts. Was just hoping I could take advantage of the rare home cup draw and the slim possibility of getting tickets again. Will hope for a Dag and Red win tonight ??.

Hello Mighty - excellent - glad your lads enjoyed the experience - and many more to come. I take the Ed’s point - but the match will be at Elland Road. There may be some isolated aggro away from the ground/ by the station etc. but I think you’ll be fine at the stadium.

Thanks Manston. Yes they did, even though we were in the north stand so they had to stand the whole game ?. I'm in a catch22 about it, but being at home does go in our favour, but would have to go another way back to the hotel as otherwise we'd be walking home past the away end.

The Wall fans are normally kept well segregated with a police escort all the way. ER should be ok but like others say maybe watch out in more public spaces as the idiots have been known to attack families etc at the train station.

Hi all,
Putting aside the feeling of déjà vu with last season's release clauses and the disappointment of losing another one of our best players, who would we like to see come in (if by some miracle we can get anything over the line) .
Apart from being jealous of some of Sheffield utds signings, it would be good if we could bring back Jack Clarke. I'm still undecided on Szmodics and Rowe. I liked the look of Chair from QPR, but not sure if he would be available.
I do feel we need another striker, at least one winger (2 if lose gnonto) , possibly a playmaker (although hoping Aaronson comes good if that role) , a LB and a keeper. Who would you like?

Hi Mighty, they have just announced the home friendly v Valencia on the 3rd of August. They typically charge £10 for these games, with kids either half price or free.
Just for info, I am a member and have been since they were a "thing" and with that comes priority to buy tickets, typically at least 24 hours before general sale. I have never failed to get a ticket. Even when I have forgot to buy during the priority window, I have still managed to buy one. When I have been really late, I have entered the ballot and again, never failed to get a ticket? Tickets are always available imo, even when we were in the Prem.

How about these new owners and their PR media teams prove they are actually cut above prevous owners and commission a statue of an ultimate Leeds United Legend who really achieved great success for our club

It's a shame it wasn't an obligation to buy. I remember roma trying to negotiate the fee at the end of the loan even though he's had a good season for them. Hopefully though, this means we can get a decent RB in now.

Really don't get this transfer and for this value. I know I haven't seen him play for a while, but when I saw him in the premier league, he had Antonio in his pocket. I think he also did well when on loan at Millwall. Appreciate we have a few options in front of him, but would like to see us keep him and hopefully give some game time this session.

Another one for the future that it's not worked out for. I'm sure he was meant to be the next VVD when we signed him from Celtic. Hopefully we put a some add ons and sell on fee in the transfer.

We were a lot better with gnonto playing so let's hope that continues for the rest of the season. It feels like we are doing the typical Leeds thing of trying our best to mess it up. 5 of our last 8 games are against the teams in the bottom 9 so we only have ourselves to blame if we don't get promoted. Unfortunately, these are the teams we tend to struggle against ?.

To be honest I don't think any of the 'fringe' players did themselves any favours today. I think we were poor all over the pitch and Millwall wanted it more. They also took their chances and we didn't. It was my youngests 2nd ever game and apart from the result, we had a good day.
