That's a very unbelievable rumour that should probably be ignored that Piroe will be leaving for a few north of £30 million.
Source: some twitter nobody.
1.) 26 Aug 2025 19:01:39
Hope so.
2.) 27 Aug 2025 10:07:38
No chance, think the club would snap their hand off for £10-15m at the minute.
12 Aug 2025 23:16:52
Rumours are that Rama is going to Rangers.
1.) 13 Aug 2025 02:28:25
Then we would need two wingers and atm incapable of getting one. Unless solo is coming back. How much for ram?
2.) 13 Aug 2025 05:05:54
I think it's going to cost somewhere between relegation and farke's job.
3.) 13 Aug 2025 06:36:13
I can only see this happen if we have a replacement coming in. We are waiting on the same for schmidt and would likely be the same for Rama.
4.) 13 Aug 2025 08:22:47
That would make absolutely no sense, particularly so close to the end of the window, unless we had 2 better incoming wingers nailed on.
5.) 13 Aug 2025 09:03:32
Auzzieinch
We let Joseph, Bamford, crew and geldhardt go with no replacement and apparently, jack Harrison is the upgrade on Ramazani. Ramazani who has the best goal contributions:minutes in the champo last season.
6.) 13 Aug 2025 09:19:23
Farke obviously Dosent like him mot. Christ knows how he going to get on with mitro.
7.) 13 Aug 2025 09:21:26
Farke seems to fall out quickly with a lot of players!
8.) 13 Aug 2025 09:45:20
Pretty sure the likes of Ferguson didn’t like many of his players, Largie has talent but think it’s more a case of Farke not trusting him in all aspects of the game, in particular, tracking back and not losing the ball in dangerous areas.
Farke was briefing Largie for ages prior to him coming on against AC Milan and he was pretty ineffective, throughout.
Hate to state it but Harrison looked more comfortable and it may be a case that Largie has found his ceiling? Hope not as he’s exciting to watch, but I fear this may be a difficult level for him to shine at.
9.) 13 Aug 2025 10:37:30
But if Muniz goes to Atalanta (likely) , then what's our Plan B, do we have one? We went down this road a couple of years ago with De Ketelaere and ended up with nothing.
10.) 13 Aug 2025 11:28:20
So much negativity with just short of 20 days still remaining! Beggars belief I'm afraid! IMO only of course!
11.) 13 Aug 2025 12:29:53
Class,
Rama is a free player, he doesn't stick to the formation and rigid guidelines that Farke likes. Farke's style does work, as proven, but we should have a chaotic, unpredictable player in the mix.
Rama's instructions should be "do what you want, get the ball in the onion bag".
12.) 13 Aug 2025 15:59:31
Mot I’m not doubting your aspiration to have that type of spontaneous player but cannot think of many teams allowing that in the EPL even Mo Salah tracks back and of course seldom loses the ball.
Fine in the championship, but very risk averse league the epl, .
05 Jul 2025 14:45:08
Apparently Farke is the reason Firpo and Wober have gone, as He didn't want either player at the club due to their attitudes, according to rumours.
Likewise it's the reason they sold creswell and keep both Schmidt and Ramazani on the bench.
A good manager shouldn't be friendly or soft with his players, but I do wonder what message that will send to our new potential signings?
1.) 05 Jul 2025 17:00:20
You got tow the line you can't have unrest in dressing room zits the reason Mr Bielsa got rid of pontus and siezi its like having a bad apple in box you get it out mot we crack on.
2.) 05 Jul 2025 17:40:32
Totally agree Mally!
3.) 05 Jul 2025 20:17:48
Wober couldn't be bothered to play for us after we went down. Fled first opportunity he got and feigned injury when he wasn't out on loan. If Farke got rid that's one of the best things he has ever done in my book.
Firpo can't defend and was holding us to ransom on the value of the new contract. He also had a deal with Betis early last season so didn't want to stay anyway.
4.) 05 Jul 2025 20:48:44
And creswell, ramazani, Schmidt?
Then keeping Meslier long past due?
I respect a manager has to take hold of the dressing room, Fergie did it and took a team of primadonnas and showed them he was boss.
I'm just speculating as to what image that gives players coming to Leeds? Ramazani and Schmidt haven't played. Crew was benched. Geldhardt didn't get a look in. Farke played Byram over Schmidt and Byram score and OG nearly costing us the cup.
I'm critical of Farke, but always give credit where it's due. I hope he wins us the Prem title. I just wonder that if he doesn't succeed, will we have missed out on players because of it?
5.) 05 Jul 2025 23:16:35
The look on Farkes face when Rama came off the bench and scored a superb goal said a lot. Bristol city I think it was.
6.) 05 Jul 2025 23:19:36
I get what you are saying MOT, but as you say, according to rumours. I would suggest as DF won us the title and promotion his methods worked. Add to that the team spirit is amazing, there seems to be a real unity which also you would have to credit DF and his team for. Rama I would suggest was benched mostly because of Manors performances, as wad Willy because he was up against DJ. Firepower got game time because of his offensive abilities so any problem with DF was put aside it seems for the better of the team. Given all of this I would suggest players would have no problem coming to Leeds because of supposed rumour about DF, there are plenty of players who seem to live him, agent Guillavogie for one and despite being benched Rama was like a cat on a hot tin roof when we were promoted, no negative vibes there.
7.) 05 Jul 2025 23:20:35
How much was Firpo asking Alf as I never saw any figures?
I doubt he’s getting as much at Betis as he would have at Leeds.
Holding Leeds to ransom are harsh words. More likely he just wanted to return to Spain which is fair enough to me.
8.) 05 Jul 2025 23:32:16
I don’t know how much he was asking for but I agree with Alf, somebody at the club told me he was holding them to ransom.
9.) 06 Jul 2025 09:20:02
Firpo took a 30k a week paycut when we were relegated. He stuck with the club and was a contributing factor in our success this season. I cannot blame the guy for wanting his fair share of higher wages, or wanting to swap Beeston to Spain.
10.) 06 Jul 2025 10:47:29
Firpo simply was proven not to be an EPL standard defender so an upgrade was needed!
Hopefully he's landing today.
11.) 06 Jul 2025 12:03:22
C'mon. Crew wasn't exactly benched was he? He wasn't ready, and definitely isn't now in the PL. And we simply had better options than Joffy. Schmidt and Rama, maybe, but the jury us still out on both as far as I'm concerned, again, because we are now in the PL.
12.) 06 Jul 2025 14:26:14
Schmidt and rama have stayed, despite being benched. Solomon, who was fourth place at the start of the season, chose to return to the club that benched and outcast him.
Schmidt and ramazani have a lot of talent, as does Solomon. I just find it strange that the two lads who were benched are still at leeds and the one who was played pulled a summerville.
The Jury is out on Firpo being good enough for the prem.
13.) 06 Jul 2025 15:27:55
I assume you've only been a Leeds fan for 2 years MoT?
If not you are in a very small minority who wouldn't say Firpo was not up to EPL standards. Excellent going forward in a team with lots of possession (yup we messed up buying from Barcelona where defenders din need to defend! ) . He looked good at EFL but always looked like getting beat or likely to give away a penalty.
Soloman is under contract so it's not up to him if he wants to leave spurs!
14.) 06 Jul 2025 16:41:31
not do you understand a contract he had no option but return to spurs Leeds then have or had an opportunity to attempt to purchase but as yet seem to have withheld this attempt. Firpo was a loose cannon in premiership.
15.) 06 Jul 2025 18:00:30
Somebody at the club? That ole chestnut.
16.) 06 Jul 2025 23:20:30
£100k per week is what I heard.
17.) 09 Jul 2025 21:39:49
Well lads how can you say giro was nt up to the epl standard to be honest I found him to be the most improved player Leeds had his shooting, heading, was spot on got forward a lot more a did get back and defend aswell I think he was getting better all the time he was at Leeds, I don’t want to sound like a bad apple but there s something about our mr farke, had good player in spence, really playing well him and farke fallout disappeared had a argument with ramazani, and he went out of the team when looking pretty good if you remember then gnonto, playing really well dropped for couple weeks and as always been sub since starting piroe before him is completely wrong, it’s like our mr farke has a chip on his shoulder, also what I found wrong a lot last year is if you watch back not the best setting up for set pieces really poor from our corners teams breaking away and scoring.
21 Jun 2025 15:05:30
Alf, LAD, any updates on Diarra? I like the look of that fella.
1.) 21 Jun 2025 17:11:39
He would be a huge signing for sure!
2.) 21 Jun 2025 18:42:51
Nothing my side.
3.) 23 Jun 2025 11:13:00
possibly coming to visit today but this is putting 100 tenuous links together.
4.) 23 Jun 2025 13:12:06
Will hold you to that Alf. Hope you not misinforming us.
5.) 23 Jun 2025 13:37:57
would I lie to you, Aus?
6.) 23 Jun 2025 20:14:22
Is that to the tune of Charles and Eddie, Alf?
7.) 23 Jun 2025 21:53:42
oh yeah!
20 May 2025 21:35:47
I've heard, from unreliable sources, that Vardy is coming to Leeds. Anyone know owt?
.
1.) 20 May 2025 21:59:10
I don't know for sure, but I've heard your unreliable sources, are indeed, unreliable! ?
Seriously tho, no, not heard anything other than what's already out there, and taken it with a huge salt stone on Vardy. Can't see it happening at all given his wages, and age, and our recruitment model.
I'm am sure tho, that I haven't seen the last instance of me being wrong!
2.) 21 May 2025 00:19:40
hope not mot. just don't see the point really. he might have one more season in him but might not. why take the gamble. more sensiblke gambles must be out there.
3.) 21 May 2025 09:49:12
cant see it happening myself. haven't heard anything regarding a transfer from any club sources.
4.) 21 May 2025 11:46:59
Whilst I also find this to be unlikely, I would rather have him as our 'impact sub' than Bamford (as much as I like him) . Bamford's wages are still v. high and if we could ship him out, Vardy can only command a lightly higher salary. Maybe worth a punt.
5.) 21 May 2025 14:24:46
Good point jj on all levels.

Gerrard has turned down the rangers job saying "I want to be manager there again, but not yet" (or words to that effect) .
Is he waiting for the heat to die down, or because he knows the owners are clueless?
What are the odds that the 49ers get desperate and send Farke there?
1.) 12 Oct 2025 01:09:23
Were I a betting man, I'd not put any money on it.
2.) 12 Oct 2025 07:01:05
If Farke does go to Rangers which is possible, how about Gerrard at Leeds, thoughts?
3.) 12 Oct 2025 09:45:28
No chance mot. In Farke they trust and everybody else declined taking over from Farke already.
4.) 12 Oct 2025 09:48:55
Not a cat in hell's chance! ??.
5.) 12 Oct 2025 12:55:23
Please OP, not even in jest!
6.) 12 Oct 2025 13:23:03
Lol OP! ??.
7.) 12 Oct 2025 13:46:10
Just curious opti. Explain why Farke goes to rangers which is possible?
8.) 12 Oct 2025 14:26:17
Aus if Farke gets sacked in the coming weeks, which some would appear to want, then it’s a good option for Rangers. Same employer also!
Several options out there now Aus, for the ones who would like Daniel Farke out of our club, there are choices out there.
9.) 12 Oct 2025 15:48:21
Exactly opt.
If Farke misses the mark getting these next few essential wins, he can leave Leeds through mutual consent and manager rangers, which I reckon he will be good at.
We can then pick up Gerrard or Ange or mourihno or whomever else is a top flight, currently unemployed manager.
On a purely business front, it's a win/ win for the 49ers.
10.) 12 Oct 2025 16:37:24
Ooooo blimey MoT, sounds like a list of the horsemen of the apocalypse, no Fanx! IMO we got the guy we need and I am confident we will flourish under him.
11.) 12 Oct 2025 16:48:55
Gerrard is unemployed, but NOT top flight calibre.
12.) 12 Oct 2025 16:51:01
Sorry to add on after posting.
Gerrard has walked away from Rangers discussions; anyone else think it may be due to not getting guarantees on the Leeds job on a set timescale?
13.) 12 Oct 2025 18:45:31
Er, no Bright.
14.) 12 Oct 2025 21:40:47
Very feasible Bright.
15.) 13 Oct 2025 09:01:46
The Formby gangster ain't got the class to manage the mighty whites!
Rangers just about is league what as he done elsewhere including eereerrh el fatty wak wak!
16.) 13 Oct 2025 14:51:14
apparently the issue with Gerrard was the wages which they couldn't agree on. Rohl the most likely and indeed a potential future LUFC manager.
17.) 13 Oct 2025 16:47:23
Unlike Gerrard, I like Rohl, tho he still has a lot to prove, and Rangers might not give him the platform to do that.
18.) 13 Oct 2025 16:53:32
I’m not sure it would be wages, there’s a possibility of tax implications from the huge wad he’s made in Saudi that for whatever reasons may complicate him returning to the dugout just yet.
I reckon whoever they appoint now, if it doesn’t work out, you might find with the time Gerrard needs perhaps with tax reasons, could still arrive at Ibrox in the coming months.
Nothing surprises me in football these days.
{Ed001's Note - there are no tax issues.}
19.) 13 Oct 2025 17:05:27
Gerrard - No
Ange - No
Mourinho - NO NO NO NO NO! ?,
If you want a sensible nomination, I suggest Rafa Benitez. He said in an interview last week that he'd like to manage in England again. Rumour has it that florists are looking at him tho.
04 Oct 2025 16:27:39
We're a newly promoted team holding off one of the big six while a ref tried his hardest to give them the game.
We made a few mistakes, but going toe-t-toe with the big guns is good to see.
We can't win them all and we were strapped by lack of attacking options.
I've defended arronson in the past but he was pretty poor today. Gave the ball away too many times.
Bogle RW and JJ RB if James/ Gnonto aren't played.
Yes it was another frustrating game we SHOULD have won. But you know? That we're even talking about how we should have won against the top dogs is some place to be. Certainly beats getting steamrolled in every game.
1.) 04 Oct 2025 16:33:32
Exactly mate well said reasons to be cheerful.
2.) 04 Oct 2025 17:23:40
Agree Mo, Brendan was poor esp after the break.
I said to the Mrs to put Bogle right wing and Justin at RB .
Don’t think Struijk covered himself in glory either, time to get Bijol a start.
Yes we’ve arguably been the best team in the last 2 games but ultimately we’ve taken 1 point from 6.
Individual mistakes get punished at this level.
3.) 04 Oct 2025 17:53:57
Struijk not at fault for 2nd goal, it was Gudmonsson who messed up.
Two unlucky deflections today. His passing was a lot better than last game.
Bijol has only played once and was poor, hopefully when needed that wasn't a fair reflection of his ability.
4.) 04 Oct 2025 17:59:09
Best thing is we are talking fine margins. While that is frustrating that is promising and makes me think we are not relegation fodder.
I remeber not too long ago when we was getting thrashed every week and the margined were far from fine, that’s when we need to worry.
5.) 04 Oct 2025 18:01:01
Dave you said that to your Mrs. I’ve been harping on here for weeks now about moving JB into right advanced position and JJ into right back. Clearly DF doesn’t read our posts. I like pascal but was he just unlucky not blocking both or one of their goals, or is it that he is lacking in agility and speed? Am I the only one who thinks Rodon missed a complete sitter? I know that the keeper came out flapping, but keep your eye on the ball and it’s an open goal. Same with DCL’s missed chances last week, if we give opposition those chances, including Rodon’s missed header today, they always seem to put them away.
6.) 04 Oct 2025 18:12:05
Absolutely MoT, frustrating, but we are holding our own against some very good teams (excluding the Arsenal game)
27 Sep 2025 19:26:08
Great play by the lads.
Great support by the fans.
All let down by Farke's man management.
From 75th minutes I was screaming to put subs on. DCL, Brenda and longstaff were knackered.
He brought Harrison on who injected life into the attack and made no more attacking changes, then decided to sit deep which has cost us before.
But does he bring on defenders and stack out the back line or bulk the midfield? Nope. Let's take off arranson at 88 minutes and replace him with. Tanaka.
This man doesn't help himself. Three times he has set up that way, twice it failed and only once did it succeed because wolves were rubbish but they had very good chances on target.
Farke out before this German Greasy meatball-in-a-long-coat sets up the same and is Martin'd by every manager in the PL.
1.) 27 Sep 2025 19:33:02
Bored.
2.) 27 Sep 2025 19:36:08
Give your head a wobble!
3.) 27 Sep 2025 19:55:52
The changes were clearly intended to be like for like, as it was that shape, and style of play that had us largely dominating the game against a side that has done extremely well to date, including their undeserved loss to Liverpool.
Keep twisting and turning things on their heads to fit the rhetoric tho, and ignore the fact that we did dominate, we were the better side, and played some excellent football.
4.) 27 Sep 2025 20:16:51
Mo, sorry pal you're comment is soooo, annoying. I was there, and it was to do with tactics, it'll was luck on their part and fate. Give it a rest pal.
5.) 27 Sep 2025 21:24:36
Hope you had a great day Dougie, away at a mates 60th so cannot comment on the game but happy with a point against in form Bournemouth.
6.) 27 Sep 2025 23:05:14
Harsh very harsh Mo.
7.) 28 Sep 2025 01:19:03
Bright, the changes were stupid. He swapped one attacker then took the foot off the gas.
Dougie, I wasn't there, but I could arronson, DCL and longstaff blowing out their arse.
I could see their attacking subs walk into our half, like has happened for the past two matches.
All respect to the lads who worked hard. We played great again today.
We look like a proper prem team.
People need to make their mind up, either every point counts in the prem because the league is tight or every point doesn't count and we don't need to worry.
That said, we're still finishing in the top 10.
8.) 28 Sep 2025 13:36:02
Very un gentlemanly to call our coach a German greasy meat ball in a long coat. Very distasteful in my grown up opinion.
9.) 28 Sep 2025 15:18:42
The changes were stupid?
OK, you obviously know better. What should he have done then, oh wise one? I take it you have zero coaching experience, by the way?
The changes were made to prevent the foot off gas scenario. i. e. like for like. The players did as previously, and sat back to try and defend the lead in the dying mins. And then defended a free kick poorly!
Is there a reason you can't accept those facts?
10.) 28 Sep 2025 16:22:30
It’s also very sad that there appears to be a lot of others who agree with you Mot.
Also very unimpressive!
11.) 28 Sep 2025 17:25:08
I might be wrong OP, but methinks there's a bit of Integrity / Baz overhitting the thumbs up button for the same posts / own posts going on at the moment.?
12.) 28 Sep 2025 19:50:00
You know what Bright me also, a bit of tampering from the dark side maybe ?
Seems to be an unusual amount, very suspect indeed.
13.) 28 Sep 2025 20:04:06
Farke has very poor tactics to see a game out with a result, but we’ll still finish this season in the top ten?!
22 Sep 2025 19:30:06
Any news on injury updates?
Perri
Gnonto
Bogle
James
Tanaka
?
1.) 23 Sep 2025 06:49:33
Bogle out until after the International break apparently.
2.) 23 Sep 2025 07:45:53
Let’s hope jj steps in as worthy replacement. Injuries stacking up.
3.) 23 Sep 2025 10:16:37
Though nobody wants to see injuries, sometimes it's the only rubbish some lads get at staking a claim.
Bigle has made a great start this Seez, I wish you well pal, and also hope James can make a big impression.
4.) 23 Sep 2025 11:43:41
JJ is going to be this seasons Tanaka. Brought on through injury and sets the place alight.
13 Sep 2025 17:49:17
We've scored twice as many OGs than we have goals in open play.
If anyone was asking where the goals are coming from, our own net is the answer.
09 Oct 2025 10:20:07
Rumours are man U want him.
Bring. him. home.
30 Sep 2025 12:22:18
Apparently, thankfully, it's Chinese whispers and ACL is actually Ankle.
Fingers crossed he is ok. Either way, let him recover and don't rush him back.
He hasn't been the since the end of last season. Let the lad rest.
30 Sep 2025 09:46:10
Could be a season ender apparently.
26 Sep 2025 16:53:13
To honour Howard Wilkinson, the 49ers are buying Wilko's and Elland Road will be renamed the 'Wilko-Gray 49ers Stadium, sponsored by Red Bull, funded in part by the San Fransisco 49ers Enterprise Franchise. '
The stadium expansion is just to fit the sign on.
25 Sep 2025 20:31:00
Did alright, didn't he? Motm and two class saves.
14 Oct 2025 00:05:11
Goodmundson and Okafor play for corners if they can't keep it in which helps Rodons chances.
I'm sure he has a few more goals in him. Maybe it's time to swap struijk out?
12 Oct 2025 15:48:21
Exactly opt.
If Farke misses the mark getting these next few essential wins, he can leave Leeds through mutual consent and manager rangers, which I reckon he will be good at.
We can then pick up Gerrard or Ange or mourihno or whomever else is a top flight, currently unemployed manager.
On a purely business front, it's a win/ win for the 49ers.
10 Oct 2025 22:31:12
Just stick with Farke.
If he has been given a striker who could convert we would be in the top 4.
09 Oct 2025 19:57:26
Vid, KDP Kindle self publishing does everything for you and you keep 70% of the profit.
You just upload a pdf or word document and Amazon does the rest.
07 Oct 2025 10:01:04
It's a good thing that Farke is half decent because even after all of those defeats, the 49ers didn't sack Martin, the crowd did.
would ER ever become so hostile that a manager would need a police escort to leave? Farke is here for life.
