Dubai police have referred the former managing director of Leeds United Football Club to prosecution over accusations by a previous club owner of "embezzling" 23.7 million dirhams ($6.46 million), they said Thursday.

Former captain Lucas Radebe fronting new Leeds United takeover? What's People think to this rumour that's going around?
1.) Not takeover but a stake in the club
2.) Would be good as the best interest of the club would be put first.
3.) According to the tv Sports head lines 7 million would be a controlling stake, if that is correct how much did grey beard sell for then, God, I wished I had 7 Million spare mr. radebe, I would back him any day true legend. MOT
4.) The reason why 7 million would be a controlled stake is because Gfh have already sold most of the shares into small amounts. E.g 10% section. They own less than 30% already
5.) You need 50 for a controlling stake. That means the others can not out vote you.
Means Leeds is worth a pittence. There must be some rich fans can afford that price
6.) GFH say no offers been made and would turn it down if it came . Press talk, no substance to this rumour .
7.) You don't need 50 at all. If 7 million got them 15% and every body else owns 10 and 5. Then it would be a controlling stake

How can that give you control if all the others out vote you, you have no control. You need 51% for a controlling stake.

10.) Basic maths and common sense! You need 51% of shares to control a Company/business. Otherwise the other shareholders can vote together and stop you from doing what you want. Its called controlling because you can decide what is going to happen (within rules and regulations)and nobody can stop you! Who doesn't understand that now?!
11.) It's well known GFH are looking for investment, so why are they saying they would turn this down? will sell but only to a "certain type"? dodgy.

13.) If you have more than 50% of the ordinary shares then you can pass what is called an ordinary resolution. This means that you have the power to appoint all of the directors (who run the company) and therefore you have control of it.

A mate who is a place fan just text me to say he's heard a rumour that Yannick Bolasie is joining Leeds, he says he's not sure if it's a loan deal or permanent. Any thoughts?
