I live in North Carolina and have been a Leeds United supporter since 1969. This season has to have been one of the worse and most frustrating season I can remember. I went to one game when visiting the UK (Birmingham at home) and could not believe how dead Elland Road had become. The team on the field was awful except for Bryam and Lees. The rest just looked like journeymen looking for a paycheck. I really feel sorry for the fans who pay they hard earned money every week to follow their team. At no point this season did I think Leeds would achieve a playoff spot and it looks likely I was right. Whatever excuse one can think of, Bates, Warnock, new owners they are all to be held to account for what has happened this season. If I still lived in the UK I would stop going to the games. My daughter and I were season ticket holders for several season when we went home feeling we had been entertained. Warnock should do the right thing now and step down. Who looks after the club for the rest of the season is a good question. I haven't got a clue. Nigel Adkins is my choice but there will not be the money to sign him. Maybe the Bradford City manager? Pulling down the curtain for this season. All the best to the supporters.

1.) I too went to the Hfield game today after a long absence from Elland rd. I must admit I was shocked at the atmosphere or lack of despite 23000 fans. When Paddy Kennys name was announced I cheered but there were hardly any cheers. When I use to attend regularly many moons ago we cheered every player as he was announced. I think that set the stall and on many occasions the Udders fans were louder. And before you say I use to attend when we were in the 2nd tier of football so it wasnt like we were a top team but the fans never stopped singing. I know times have been horrific for the regular fan over the the last few years but what happened to singing for 90 mins - sing your hearts out - or is it everywhere and times have just changed? I must admit when I have seen the leeds fans AWAY on tv they seemed to sing a lot more. Why? Today was very disappointing in lots of ways!

2.) Take your point mate. But it's hard to work up any atmosphere and enthusiasm when your watching such dross on the field. I've been supporting since 1957 I'm not going to stop until I snuff it but honestly it's getting harder. JD
