Bournemouth have activated clause to make Luis Sinisterra deal permanent from Leeds United.

Documents being prepared, it will be signed and announced this week.

? will pay £20m fee,

Alfcupper

1.) 08 Feb 2024 22:00:29
Relieve a bit of the ffp burden. Use some of it to sign Rodon.
Happy to let him go. Might mean having to keep Willie though or getting a newbie.

2.) 08 Feb 2024 22:38:33
reasonable for all parties . Sinisterra and his agent evidently want a permanent move from Leeds.

Leeds will recoup their transfer fee. potential talent wise he may be worth a bit more say £25 million plus

but then on terms of his actual stats and being injury prone maybe not

Played 153 games 33 goals in 7 pro years . not impressive.

3.) 09 Feb 2024 06:56:26
Pleased. Rat.
Hope we have a sell on clause in there tho.

4.) 09 Feb 2024 09:33:19
Rat? Brightie? Bit harsh.

5.) 09 Feb 2024 09:41:38
Oh. Thought you were referring to Alf ??
Not sini. Gotcha now ?.

6.) 14 Feb 2024 14:53:04
I've absolutely been called worse Aus.

01 Feb 2024 21:05:21
Poveda will join Sheffield Wednesday on a permanent deal.

Alfcupper

1.) 01 Feb 2024 21:55:10
No goals no assists in his LUFC career .

2.) 01 Feb 2024 22:57:18
And?
He is not a bad player.
I wish him the best.

3.) 01 Feb 2024 23:02:28
How much Alf?

4.) 01 Feb 2024 23:15:20
Barely any minutes.

5.) 02 Feb 2024 01:25:47
Even in U21s he did not impress .
Normally I bemoan young players leaving. but zero end product so far.

.,

6.) 02 Feb 2024 02:24:51
Leeds website says it's a loan till the end of season.

7.) 02 Feb 2024 02:25:49
On the Leeds wesbsite it says loan till the end of the season.

8.) 02 Feb 2024 02:36:05
Leeds website says its only a loan till season end.

9.) 02 Feb 2024 07:06:05
He is out of contract end of season. and has not been offered a new one by LUFC

Probably a correct decision amongst other unwise recent ones.

10.) 02 Feb 2024 19:32:31
Alright Si - calm down.

11.) 03 Feb 2024 04:03:46
Sorry chaps, IT issues, repeating myself ?.

30 Jan 2024 22:33:04
Reportedly interested in Joe Worrall at Nottingham Forest.

Alfcupper

1.) 31 Jan 2024 09:30:32
6 mill apparently. Would have thought that was value ?.

2.) 31 Jan 2024 22:13:25
No thanks.
Seen him at rangers and they couldn’t get rid quick enough. Not for us. … IMO.

3.) 31 Jan 2024 22:32:39
We sure as heck won't be paying £6m this window.

4.) 01 Feb 2024 06:38:01
Why are we being so strongly linked with CB’s? That’s not what’s needed! We need RB/ LB and a CAM!

5.) 01 Feb 2024 08:40:18
We can juggle them about Rambo. Play them out of position. Farke is a master at that.

6.) 01 Feb 2024 12:24:54
Add Harry Souttar from Foxes to that list….!

7.) 01 Feb 2024 15:03:04
That’s true Aus, Farke would probably give Haaland a shift at RB if he signed.

22 Jan 2024 14:03:54
Leeds United have registered their interest in signing Liverpool youngster Mateusz Musialowski, who has impressed for Liverpool’s Under-21 side this season with six goals and two assists in 11 games in all competitions.

Alfcupper

1.) 22 Jan 2024 15:12:10
Alf One of those goals against us.

2.) 22 Jan 2024 20:52:05
Good fact George I did not know that.

22 Jan 2024 14:02:53
Leeds have officially approached West Ham about a potential January deal to sign full-back Ben Johnson apparently.

Yaaaaaaaayyyy!

Managed to bag a ticket for Wembley at the death. We will almost definitely lose now as a result but I'm still glad that I'm going.

Alfcupper

1.) 22 May 2024 11:49:18
What number were you in the queue Alf?

2.) 22 May 2024 12:53:21
I was around 2500 to start with.

3.) 22 May 2024 13:04:03
Pleased for you Alf.

4.) 22 May 2024 13:11:35
Fair enough. Good news Alf. Enjoy!

I just wish they’d turn the screen off once all tickets are sold rather than letting people hang on then find out they’ve all been sold!

5.) 22 May 2024 17:19:10
Great news that is Alf! Delighted for ya!

6.) 22 May 2024 17:28:08
Brilliant news Alf
Where abouts are you in the stadium
We're up above the goal.

7.) 22 May 2024 23:56:25
Good job alf. Sing your heart out for the lads!

8.) 23 May 2024 07:42:36
Brilliant news Alf, so pleased for ya, I predict a riot!

9.) 23 May 2024 17:24:40
Im more or less on the half way line but up in the gods so the clouds may obscure my view from time to time. Just hoping for a positive day and a great atmosphere whatever happens.

Completely agree Manston - the ticketing system is very annoying - you spend a lot of time clicking on 'available' seats that are not actually available when you try to buy them and have to select again - meanwhile others are buying the 'available' seats that are actually available even if you were ahead of them in the queue - it really needs updating as its not good enough for a club like ours with so many people trying to get tickets. I've also actually managed to select a seta before only for the system to crash at the payment stage and then you have to go to the back of the queue by which time of course we are sold out. Very, very frustrating.

Soooo. didn't see the game tonight as I took my 93 year old Grandma to see Andre Rieu.

Just kept checking the score every 10 / 15 mins.

Didn't even wear Leeds shirts, polo's, socks or pants.

The question is, do I dare watch the final?

alfcupper

1.) 17 May 2024 01:33:53
Yes Alf but don’t wear a Leeds Shirt, Polo’s, socks or pants then all will be good but maybe not for the people watching it with you! ? ? ????.

2.) 17 May 2024 22:05:29
No Alf. Take your grandma to see Andre Rieu again wherever he’s playing
He’s bound to be playing next Sunday!

15 May 2024 10:24:48
Villa in the Champs League - amazing what can be done with the right signings over a sustained period. Congrats to them.

Alfcupper

1.) 15 May 2024 11:38:10
Agree Alf. They done well.

2.) 15 May 2024 11:43:40
And a good manager Alf! ??.

3.) 15 May 2024 15:14:38
Thought they should’ve kept Gerard personally.!
Problem is now for Dick Emery he’s set his marker now, fans will demand the same or better from now on.
They’ll definitely need some better players in the summer and spending now is not easy to do although they will get some revenue for the CL which they will likely struggle in with no experience.
They have done well though in a short space of time.

4.) 15 May 2024 20:18:10
Good manager, good squad, good prospects coming through. Pains me a little to say, but they're a quality outfit these days.

Interested to see what business they do in the summer.

5.) 15 May 2024 20:36:34
"Congrats to the Vile", Cuppa?
Blasphemy!

6.) 15 May 2024 23:39:35
What Baz said. Once upon a time, we Orta have bagged Watkins and Emery but it was Orta at the helm.

12 May 2024 19:12:44
Good result that away from home. Bossed the 2nd half but just struggling for creativity up front somewhat. I would have taken that before kick off so happy enough.

alfcupper

1.) 12 May 2024 20:01:56
Decent result. but who is scoring for Leeds on Thursday?

2.) 12 May 2024 20:48:02
Baz, A certain young Striker who DF has done No justice will score and become a cult hero. mark my word. that's what I Invision happening.

3.) 12 May 2024 21:24:56
Hooksie I hear yer but we have been waiting all season for DF to be " brave" actually more accurately "wise" and gibe MJ a chance

Bottom line

Rutter needs dropping for MJ for Thursdays literally MUST WIN match

Rutter no goals in past 14 matches

Rutter no assists in last 9 matches

Rutter is NOT contributing when it now matters most in any shape or form.

4.) 12 May 2024 22:50:59
Have to agree, he is really struggling.

5.) 13 May 2024 00:57:18
Team for Thursday

Meslier ( sadly no better choice) )
Roberts ( if fit to start if not Byram)
Rodon
Amps
Firpo
Gruev
Cresswell
Gray
James
Gnonto ( or Anthony)
Joseph (but Farke won't start him so Piroe up front )

subs
Summerville, Rutter etc.

6.) 13 May 2024 02:48:02
typo Kamara ( not Cresswell)

7.) 13 May 2024 08:37:30
Although Rutter’s performances of late have not been brilliant, he can still create something out of nothing like he did against Middlesbrough to win that penalty.
For me he always has that in his locker, what concerns me more though with him is his carelessness, losing the ball very easily. I wouldn’t be surprised to read a stat that he loses the ball more than any other player in our team.
It’s this part I am concerned about him and especially with Norwich’s quick counter attacking, it could cost us?

8.) 13 May 2024 08:38:14
I do concur, their form isn't great. Ha ing said that, I don't think dropping our two most creative players is going to be the best idea. They can both still create (or in the case of Cry - score) something out of nothing. Something no one else in the team does, as the season has shown.

I want Joseph to start and drop Rutter back into 10. Rest Gruev or Gray.

Regardless, I think we see a more positive tactical approach Thursday. Was clear we played for a clean sheet yesterday and anything else further than that was deemed a bonus. Not the most aesthetic thing to watch, but job done in that regard, and it now sets us up to go at them at ER.

All or nothing Thursday.

9.) 13 May 2024 08:44:55
And I don't necessarily disagree with your team selection, Baz. Just would be reluctant to drop them given they can produce magic IF they find form again (it's got to happen at some point hasn't it? Surely. )

10.) 13 May 2024 13:06:08
Look at it from a different angle; if Farke drops Cree and Gio, we blank, and canaries either score two, or beat us on Pens, as when brought on, the hindsight brigade say it was too late to have any effect, no matter what minute subs come one, he is damned.
If we don’t get the right result, no matter what he does, he is damned.
Now I’m not saying which is right, as to be perfectly honest, I don’t know; it’s a real 50-50 call, with no correct answer at this point in time.
Both Cree and Gio can turn the game in 60seconds, and we are through. I will support whatever decision he makes, and hope that it’s proves to be the correct one!

11.) 13 May 2024 13:47:46
Watching Rutters last 9 matches in particular Bright, I think it's more than fair to say, in fact it's factual that he has been playing badly giving ball away incessantly, often in dangerous areas, he has not scored nor assisted goals etc

At moment Rutter might actually be somewhat effectual coming on after say 65 mins ; he certainly isn't effective at all starting matches playing 90 mins at moment

Farke made a " brave" wise decision in previous game strengthening midfield, he needs to make another for Thursday.

As for Summerville it's more contentious to drop him. play him from start OK . but maybe dropping him will really fire him up and bring him on at HT.

12.) 13 May 2024 13:49:07
We must eliminate the handbrake and drop the Bulgarian. He's also hurting Leeds.

13.) 13 May 2024 17:37:33
I’m not going to argue there Baz, as simply put, you are right that he is totally off it. Could he produce on Thurs? No one knows, but stats say no at the minute. We do know that he is however capable of winning the match for us with a touch, a pass, a one-two. Risk is the key word, and it’s huge, for a huge game.
I would hate to be in DF’s shoes with the key decisions he has to make.

14.) 13 May 2024 17:38:33
Some good points, Bright, Baz and agree about Gruev, George.

Just hope DF gets it right and those he picks perform to their capabilites and fight tooth and nail to get to the final.

I feel it would be remiss of me not to mention that this May is Time For A Cuppa 2024! This is a great opportunity to look in on some of our mates, and spend time having a cuppa with friends. It can make a big difference to anyone struggling mentally and who wouldn't want to help a mate out?

Why not make it extra special by baking a splendid fruitloaf, perfect with a cuppa!

Here’s how:

Ingredients:
? 175g mixed dried fruits
? 225ml hot tea
? 225g self-raising flour
? 100g brown sugar
? 1 egg
? Orange zest

Method:
1️⃣ Soak fruits in tea (2 hrs or overnight) .
2️⃣ Mix all ingredients, bake at 180°C for 1-1.25 hrs.

Enjoy with good company!

3.) 03 May 2024 12:40:50
I’m busy Alf. Can I just buy a cake?

4.) 03 May 2024 12:59:50
I’ve got one of those cakes Alf, Gran gave it me in 1967, it’s still good today!

5.) 03 May 2024 14:39:11
World wide Alf or just the tiny isle of uk?
Not that it matters. Just not heard of it previously.
However. Talking of cakes.
I have been the family Xmas cake matter for 20 yrs now. All delicious.

6.) 03 May 2024 21:01:49
Yes you can buy a cake or just have a cuppa on its own or with biccies.
