Linked to Brownhill as a free transfer.
1.) 03 Sep 2025 17:35:04
He's gone to saudi.
2.) 03 Sep 2025 19:46:47
Must've wanted too much wonga!
3.) 03 Sep 2025 23:22:58
Apparently rejected £100k a week as wanted more.
4.) 04 Sep 2025 03:55:42
Ridiculous how pretty much average players want and get 100k.
5.) 04 Sep 2025 07:49:43
World's gone maaaaad.
6.) 04 Sep 2025 11:36:10
What about Hakim Ziyech?
7.) 04 Sep 2025 14:08:28
32 isn’t he? A gamble. Heavy pay packet on games goals and assists. Why not.
Yanks prob know better mind. Obviously.
8.) 04 Sep 2025 15:32:37
Rumours that Mitrovic might soon become available. Allegedly the Saudi club are desperate to move him on, and are even considering terminating his contract to allow him to leave on a free.
9.) 04 Sep 2025 17:45:46
Gone to Qatar or somat like that has Mitro.
02 Sep 2025 21:44:36
Hearing a few reports that we are very close to PSR limits - to the extent that we will probably need to sell a major player before June. If this is true it makes our window even better as we managed a decent number of signings on a very limited budget. During the window one of my contacts also mentioned a few times to expect at least one key player being sold. I imagined this would be Amps or Struijk or both so we have arguably done well to keep them both. If it was Struijk it might also explain why we are not really playing our new defenders as yet as we are arguably overstocked in that area. If one or both had been sold that would have generated more income for incomings.
1.) 03 Sep 2025 05:20:05
Sounds like PR guff.
Sell a major player? That's Tanaka gone then.
2.) 03 Sep 2025 08:10:10
On the contrary Mo. It sounds perfectly feasible to me. The club are not going to send such "PR guff" into the public domain when they know that ACTUAL FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS are going to be available to all and sundry! Now that would be a major PR balls up wouldn't it!?
3.) 03 Sep 2025 08:40:48
Sounds plausible to me also Alf, and further supports why they paid up PB and loaned Largie.
Of course as a supporter you want the club to be transparent on these issues but they will rightly counter with, if we admitted our true PSR situation then that may have impacted the signings we’ve made to date.
I still believe 49ers communications are shite at best and they clearly don’t get the importance of
maintaining transparency and trust with the supporters.
4.) 03 Sep 2025 09:11:03
Bright, they're not posting financial accounts and telling the fan base they have spent close to PSR when they potentially have money back isn't illegal.
It's PR guff because they ballsed up the end of the window.
If they were right up against PSR they wouldn't have signed JJ or bornauw ahead of another 9 when our strikers are injury prone.
5.) 03 Sep 2025 09:40:03
But that would contradict everything praag said going into the the Everton game. Every noise that they have made was to expect signings up until the final day and Farke has also been insistent.
I don't buy that at all.
Also why would they submit a loan deal for Wilson, then submit a bid, for a player that's in the last year of his deal. It all just wreaked of last minute desperation.
6.) 03 Sep 2025 12:58:50
they expected sales up to the final day also - one balances out the other.
7.) 03 Sep 2025 13:01:58
They have succeeded in making sure they stay within PSR parameters as there was a conversation with the finance people who confirmed we were “squeaky clean” obviously I don’t know how close or far away they was but it clearly was a concern based on the conversation they were having.
Would explain why they tried to loan Emi and Wilson before bidding on Wilson.
So presuming somewhere from £5million in the clear to going over if we paid £15mil for Emi.
8.) 03 Sep 2025 13:21:23
With all due respect to Alf posting about the club possibly being at their PSR limit like Bushy said I don't buy that for one second and believe it's a weak excuse to deflect from themselves effing up the window and breaking their own promise to fully back Farke in the way Norwich didn't back Farke in his previous EPL campaigns.
Also even if PSR is anywhere close to being an issue try paying your greedy selves and your greedy investors a little less. No I don't expect them to do that.
They are playing us for fools imo if they expect Leeds fans to believe anything other than it was 100% their own incompetence that has us going into the rest of the season on a wing and a prayer that our injury prone forward line can not only stay fit but also are good enough to come up with the goals required from what looks like will be a limited in EPL quality creativity supply.
9.) 03 Sep 2025 23:39:02
Couldn’t have put it better myself CW.
01 Sep 2025 20:00:42
Nope. All done. Fulham change their mind at the last minute and nothing for Hamer. That's us done so we will see what happens now for the rest of the season.
1.) 01 Sep 2025 20:18:11
Disappointing. Both them players would have helped us especially on set plays.
2.) 01 Sep 2025 20:31:15
Fulham changed their mind because we lowballed them?
3.) 01 Sep 2025 20:32:58
I'm afriad it seems this lot are just as much of a bunch of chancers as the last lot.
All the talk of spending to the limit. blah, blah, blah.
4.) 01 Sep 2025 20:35:24
Strategically poor for the Club to get into an end-of-window position of depending on a deal with a potential bottom-half rival, which had every incentive to string us along then leave us empty handed with no time to look elsewhere.
Given the injuries to Amps and Ao, I’d be more than happy with us bringing in free agent Brownhill, who can play also AM, knows where the net is, has a very decent set piece delivery, and apparently wanted a move to Leeds. He could yet end up going to another Prem team - maybe even back to Burnley - and, if so, would almost certainly have a hand in a goal or two against us that could very well be the difference between us surviving or going down.
5.) 01 Sep 2025 22:11:42
Disappointing end to the window…. We are definitely missing that creative player in midfield, it has been evident in the first 3 games.
Time will tell, but this will hinder our chances of staying up. Getting someone in during the Jan window may be too late.
6.) 01 Sep 2025 22:39:19
It's most likely that Fulham decided not to let us have Harry Wilson because their move for Tyrique George from Chelsea fell through.
01 Sep 2025 19:41:15
Still a chance for Wilson and Hamer. Deal sheets in allegedly. Will have to wait and see.
1.) 01 Sep 2025 19:55:43
Nizaar Kinsella from BBC saying Wilson staying at Fulham.
2.) 01 Sep 2025 19:56:44
I’ve heard the sheet went in for Hamer, haven’t heard about Wilson.
3.) 01 Sep 2025 19:56:48
Graham smithy claiming no deal sheet for Wilson.
4.) 01 Sep 2025 20:07:44
Sources at Fulham say they wanted 10 Leeds would only pay 7 typical Leeds penny pinching.
5.) 01 Sep 2025 20:21:26
Last year of his contract but surely a deal could have been struck?
Say 8 mill with add ons if he played x amount of games and we stayed up.
I didn’t expect Marks n Spencer shopping but definitely not Asda!
01 Sep 2025 13:36:48
Buendia not happening - Villa won't do a loan and some sources now saying that's it for us this window.
1.) 01 Sep 2025 13:56:16
Surely this can’t be it…. We are going to struggle that’s for sure.
2.) 01 Sep 2025 13:59:41
Bloody well hope not!
3.) 01 Sep 2025 14:12:28
If so it’s a disgrace.
4.) 01 Sep 2025 14:38:59
If true they are taking an enormous gamble. We go down their investment and future plans will be in shreds. Would have been far less risky to just chuck a load of cash about and overspend.
5.) 01 Sep 2025 14:42:02
Harry Wilson.

02 Oct 2025 15:16:38
DJ out for 6 weeks the latest so not as bad as we feared.
1.) 03 Oct 2025 07:55:08
Might even be only 4, but like someone else said in a different thread, bring him back slowly, and only when 100% fit.
2.) 03 Oct 2025 08:49:03
Don’t think that will be the end of it. Think we won’t see much of him this season.
3.) 03 Oct 2025 12:33:08
He's been a bit off the pace every time he's come on this season, so needs to be brought back slowly and carefully.
25 Sep 2025 13:51:07
Bogle fit, James back training but Gnonto out.
1.) 25 Sep 2025 15:05:45
Pretty sure swap ba for James and we good to go. Same 10 as before. Although James needs to step up quickly.
2.) 25 Sep 2025 16:29:14
not much you can do about an injury.
3.) 26 Sep 2025 00:02:26
Rest James and Bogle. Don't risk it.
JJ can help BA on the wing. It's going to be a magic combo and a Brenda redemption arc.
4.) 26 Sep 2025 04:30:59
I suspect both James and Bogle will be 70 min subs. James maybe 80.
5.) 26 Sep 2025 07:35:01
Definitely start Bogle, it was only a bruised foot, can always sub him later in the game if necessary.
Also need Dan James upping the anti, but agree that his inclusions should be gradual as his fitness perhaps is not quite there yet. You can’t fault Aaronson’s work rate, like Harrison but for me neither has any end product, both need to occupy the bench in my opinion.
6.) 26 Sep 2025 08:04:36
I'm with Mot on this, and wouldn't personally risk either as starters. BA can run himself into the ground for an hour and give them no time to breathe, and we can give JJ a good run out. 2 great subs then to help us nick the win.
7.) 26 Sep 2025 17:04:08
Do we need James upping the anti, the ante, or the Aunty? I feel this is important.
8.) 26 Sep 2025 22:36:29
Auntie Alf are you my new spell checker?
You can if you want, I really don’t mind.
9.) 26 Sep 2025 22:49:51
How about Justin at RB and Bogle at RW?
10.) 27 Sep 2025 10:58:35
I know you keep banging that drum JR, and I totally agree with you on it! Just maybe not for this week if Boges is just back from a knock. I think it would be exciting attack wise, and a brick wall defensively! ????.
30 Aug 2025 14:27:20
Could see a move for Lois Openda in the coming days.
1.) 30 Aug 2025 15:40:59
Blinking Nora Alf what you been drinking? ??
Surely he’s outta our league?
Be nice end to the window him and Hamer on loans with obligation and sign Spertsyen.
29 Aug 2025 12:10:33
think someone may have been asking about some of the new LUFC gear a while back - there will be a new range launched next week for those interested:
Leeds United are proud to unveil the Terrace Icons collection, a new limited-edition lifestyle range created in collaboration with adidas. Inspired by classic terrace culture and adidas’ timeless sportswear heritage, the collection reimagines retro designs for the 25/ 26 season.
First seen on our new summer signings during pre-season, the range has already become a familiar sight around Elland Road and will make its official matchday debut tomorrow, as the first team arrive wearing the collection ahead of kick-off.
The line-up features a standout yellow pinstripe jersey, a full tracksuit, a quarter zip top, and a drill top—each piece proudly carrying the embroidered Leeds United crest alongside the iconic adidas trefoil.
Captured earlier this summer on the North Stand concourse at Elland Road, the shoot provided the perfect backdrop for the retro-inspired Terrace Icons range.
The limited-edition collection will be available to supporters online from 8am on Tuesday 2nd September and from 9am in-store.
1.) 29 Aug 2025 13:08:39
Cheers Alf pal, it was me
There's a really nice track top I see Dan wearing, so good it's being released.
2.) 29 Aug 2025 14:36:09
Nice one Alf, I think Corky and myself were also interested and asking the question.
The trakey top is a definite buy for me ?.
3.) 29 Aug 2025 14:53:57
Nice one Alf. Myself n OP mad for the track top.
4.) 29 Aug 2025 15:49:58
there are some very nice looking threads that's for certain. Limited edition though like I say so don't hang about.
29 Aug 2025 06:49:21
Solomon looking to be heading back to the Championship with WBA and Sheff Utd interested.
1.) 29 Aug 2025 09:26:01
On loan or to buy?
2.) 29 Aug 2025 09:45:51
Bet blades buy him.
09 Sep 2025 12:53:08
also hearing Ao is back in training
although Perri may have an injury.
09 Sep 2025 06:34:03
Amps might be back.
03 Sep 2025 12:58:50
they expected sales up to the final day also - one balances out the other.
02 Sep 2025 21:20:28
I haven't heard anything concrete.
01 Sep 2025 19:48:32
Apparently it was submitted but I don't know for sure. SSN saying it was.
08 Oct 2025 06:55:09
Bermo for some reason failed to mention my critically acclaimed work as an extra in Gangsters Kiss and that our very own DJ (who hasn't posted for a while, c'mon DJ) appears in quite a few of them.
08 Oct 2025 06:50:17
Yes i'm a big fan. Very intelligent guy and tells it like it is.
07 Oct 2025 16:38:56
i would estimate around 10 goals for DCL this season if he stays fit which I would take right now given the choice.
07 Oct 2025 16:34:37
KD one of m, y all time faves.
07 Oct 2025 16:34:07
its a point per game averaged over the season so yes we need to beat teams around us to compensate for not expecting points against the better teams. I think we need to see 3/ 4 wins in the next 5 to do that. 5 points will probably not be enough in this run of fixtures.
