Really hope that Carlos Corberan stays with us instead of taking job he's being linked with.
Would be a perfect successor to marcelo when he decides to hang up his coaching boots.

He still can be the perfect successor. Doesn’t matter if he’s gone. If Bielsa has made a recommendation to the club that Carlos should succeed him, then I’m sure that there will be something written into the deal with Huddersfield that makes it easy.

Well that was convincing! Why didn't we just run at them to get in the penalty area and see what happens? Lots of sideway passing as usual. Well at least we didn't lose a potential banana skin fixture. Back to league now which is our priority.

Compared to our previous fixtures in this competition, it’s a very good result, we won.
We can all say we should’ve won 3 or 4 nil, we didn’t be we dominated the game and were never troubled.
A good win and into the next round.

I’m sure you were Baz. and quite rightly so. I normally enjoy joining in to the live chat, but had to record the match tonight, and just watched it now. To be honest we were fortunate not to concede a penalty with the Gman in the first half. I know for sure if it happened at the other end of the pitch we would all have been screaming for a penalty. A few big time Charlie performances from a quite a few of our players tonight in my opinion. Thought Rothwell was far too negative. 31st minute of the game and a direct free kick a couple of yards from the 18 yard box, and instead of having a go at goal, he decides to float the ball to the prolific Gman at back post, and the ball sails out for a goal kick. I’m not one for saying farke out, but didn’t we have only one left footed player on the pitch today? The point being, Rothwell, like Summerville last season takes every set piece. No left footed player to take an in swinging corner or free kick? You can’t have pascal taking them, as he’s our main threat at set pieces! Darlow didn’t have a lot to do, but didn’t concede, so first choice goalie for me. Only once he came out flapping, apparently shouting, tonight Matthew I’m going to be be deslier o Connor.

MOT and Feath Think you'll find the more pertinent point is that it has spread around English football the way to play against us when we're at home and even when the opposition is at home is to set up a low block.

See bazza for the unbelievable brand of football we play, Willy will have to do 4 seasons in the 23's, play 19 league cup games, get loaned out out to hapiol Tel- Aviv, get c.v. at least 3 times, and play in 2 world cups, to make the bench against Bournemouth if we are both still in the big time in 2036 ?????.

Yes very sad news and also condolences to family and friends of Matija Sarkic, both too young to leave this earth. RIP to them both.
