i cannot believe luke varney is still here surely someone from league 1/2 would take him? not championship quality.

1.) Varney is a good backup player for this league. We need to keep him for when we have suspensions / injuries.

2.) At this moment in time we can't afford to get rid of varney personally I think he will used as a impact player coming of the bench

3.) What are you saying he was one of our best players last season. he gives it everything in every game and works hard in the team and in this moment of time we need him.

Watched him at Walsall. He was the best leeds player on the pitch! Only one to put any effort in!

5.) He was good when he came on against Walsall and played well for McDermott last season.

Btw Paul green was the best player on the pitch for us against Walsall :)

He's completely useless. He constantly gets yellow carded, dives, misses easy chances, makes readiculous mistakes, laughs about those mistakes and just runs around having no clue what he is doing. Also he refuses to clap the fans. Against sheffield Wednesday he did that

Well if you worked in an office and it was all pressure 100% of the time how would your morale be? pretty poor. while it doesn't get a team promoted, it keeps the dressing room in good spirits. you might need to take off your blinkers to see that. he's not useless, I 100% disagree with that. if he was useless he'd be sitting at home talking trash on a web forum

10.) Varney had a decent last season. Got better once fans got off his back. Unless we bring ina couple of strikers we going to need him as both a squad player and a starter. MOT

11.) Poor guy was played outta position near all season, which meant he started badly and persons got on his back. He is great in the air and has reasonable pace. If we play to his strengths then he will have a better season-I thought he played well 2nd half of last season to be fair.
