Elland Road to be purchased early November. Stadium purchase is excluded from FFP (purchase of fixed, depreciable assets are not counted).
Oh and on the FFP transfer embargo rubbish; an embargo would begin 1st Jan 2015 and last until club can demonstrate it is fiscally sound. So, presumably if Harvey is determined, he can stop us buying and selling players for a whole day. However, it is still possible Leeds may get fined, although, given where the business is now, compared with 12 months ago, it could be argued that such a fine is unnecessarily punitive. So says a chap I know at t'FA - we were both drunk, mind.

The fa will use any excuse to punish leeds its been going on for at least 45 years,

MC knows exactly what he is doing, a business man as rich and savvy as him does not spend money lightly & buying back the stadium is all part of proving Leeds are heading back into financial stability. The FA can hate us all they want, they cannot however argue with figures in black & white showing the club is now clearly being managed correctly. don't think MC is too bothered about the FA afterall he is 1-0 up on them already. City
Drunken chat about leeds that's my kinda night, loved to have been a fly on the wall lol

Believe it or not; not everyone hates us. Some people are (and I know this is going to be tough for anyone to even contemplate but. ) some people, even in the FA, are actually. now make sure you're sitting down for this. some people are. indifferent towards us!
'Came as a shock to me, too.
It's just a shame that the media enjoy portraying both fans and club negatively.
For instance; Cellino gets referred to as 'controversial Leeds chairman', whilst Oyston at Blackpool doesn't even get an adjective.

Seems that M c himself has noticed how certain media portrays him, hence when was the last time he spoke to Sky!
Every one seems to have an opinion on Leeds ex-players etc in regards to M C, and ok he dropped the ball when he assigned the coaches job to D H .
But the hope we have winning games without certain squad players, unknown foreign players, actually doing very well and becoming favourites, the future for once is starting to look bright, a young squad yes, an improving squad yes, sound finances yes .
How many years has it been?

Just thought, I know we are being hit for ffp as GFH ran the club with such large debts. Currently David Haigh is sat in a prison for false invoicing and the auditors at Leeds resigned a week or so back. If Leeds united are a victim of fraudulent crime would this amount (not sure if its big or small) be taken into consideration. If not I can imagine possible legal action from the club. Its been a while since we had a court case.
