I so hope this rumour isn't true . It is that Cook has a £5million release clause if (when) Leeds aren't promoted this season.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post it's true.
Man Utd are also keen to sign him plus others like Bournemouth!
To cap it off it looks like Mowatt won't be signing a contract extension as his agent openly says 👎👎👎👎.

{Ed001's Note - release clauses are very unusual in the UK, I seem to remember Ed002 saying they are not legally binding here, but I could be wrong.}

Club said we'd be fighting promotion this season.
Instead we're fighting relegation, so I tend to believe more that comes from the local paper than El Presidente Cellino's mouth.

I think we are being a bit over the top with Mr cellino if I'd got forty million spare don't think I'd be throwing at Leeds.he as what we need is some anti gfh protests they are a lepper on our club taking money and leaving us in debt.GFH Out

agree micky b and don't think leeds can say something in contract is not true if it is something to do with binding contracts that would make that mis-representation.
