Sunderland are a poor side and we made them look decent. In fairness Fletcher up front for them had a good game far better than Lassoga who was awful. We should have won the game easily but we were toothless up front and had little in midfield. The class performers Saiz and Hernandez stood out but as much as they are our only creative options they also leave us short when it come to defending from the front. Too often they get knocked off the ball and fall to the floor claiming a foul, that needs to stop. We are lightweight all over the pitch, Roofe is especially scared of a 50/50 challenge and he pulled out of two yesterday and that is not acceptable. Phillips is still frustrating the hell out of me as is Berardi who I am afraid now joins my needs to go in the summer list. We need some pace in the side and not the Sacko headless chicken type, often yesterday Peacock-Farrell wanted to release the ball but there was no options available. O'Connor is a good footballer, he reads the game well and took up some great positions and wanted the ball but he has zero pace which is a worry, but I would have him in for the rest of the season without a shadow of doubt. PH can only work with the players he inherited but why do we continue to play one up front at home and why when the opposition have a corner do we bring everyone back thus giving us no out ball. All over the park yesterday we lacked pace, commitment and desire. If Saiz superb free kick had have gone in it would have been papering over the cracks. The man of the match was B P-F with O'Connor not far behind and that for me is telling. Two youngsters who were keen and hungry to do well whilst Pontus, Pablo, Saiz and RV apart the rest were nearly going through the motions.

Hi All. I'm a first poster and been a fan for 50 years now. Back in the swing as my 14 year old is a fan. Live in Fulham now so went along last Tuesday for the first time in 13 years. Bloody great! Ok, we lost but the support you guys give is second to non. Spurred on by the experience we traveled to Leeds for the match yesterday assuring my boy that it was in the bag as Sunderland are rubbish. Oh dear or dear. So I fully agree with Willthewhite on ALL accounts. I would add that all this stems from the top. Radrizzani needs to put up some decent cash or sell up to someone serious. I see Amanda Staverley is sniffing around Newcastle again. WHY? She's from bloody Ripon FFS! She has the wedge and contacts to take us back to the very TOP. I looked around at Elland Road yesterday and thought how good it would be to build a world class stadium on the site. Come on! we have a bigger fanbase than most Premiership sides. Change has to come from the top. Rads to sell up, new owners to replace a totally feckless manager. Only then will we start to be, again, the club we deserve to be. Marching on together.

yes totally agree local business woman, what about them who own flamingo land? surely someone has the money radz done well with buying back er etc but no idea seemingly when it comes to on the pitch matters. Needs to find a lot more money and why not get in some proven talent or just maybe there are some under 23`s that are going to rip it up next season. let's hope so
