Went to the match, got up at 6.30 am the next morning to watch the complete sky rerun, watched the extended highlights more times than I want to say! A stunning performance that deserved at least a 4-0 score line to do it justice. can't get it out of my system!

I think the last lineup is exciting and offers so many flexible options. Alioski and Harrison brings out the best in both of them, they can interchange totally and it leaves us Douglas, Pearce and Davis as backup.

Ayling and Clarke, no need for words with Shackleton now establishing himself as a reliable option and Beradi to come and Dallas as well.

Forshaw and KP now fighting for the DM position. Klich and Hernadez have Roberts and hopefully Brown around.

Roofe, with Bamford, keen to impress.

Pontus and Captain Fantastic are now probably the part of the team hardest to collectively replace at the same level. I'd like to see one of Aapo, Diaz or Struick really rising to the challenge. Pick 2 of them and get them playing every under 23 game together as a unit.

Bailey needs support and a think a vocal, experienced keeper could really nail down the defensive unit. Hopefully our man from Madrid is that man. Can see him getting a run in the team quite quickly all being well.

When you look at it like that, it shows the challenge in adding to the squad in a way that really improves it and doesn't just throw money away.

A winger / 10 that can share the burden and it's hard to see too many teams deservedly beating that group of players. Even without the additions! Exciting times is an understatement.

The ground is buzzing, the city is excited and I'm quite frankly struggling to focus on anything else!

We need cover for BPF or someone to push him on for a few years

We need cover for Pablo who was our most creative player even when the other little Spanish lad we had, I forget his band, decided it was warm enough to put a shift in.

We saw earlier in the season how much we miss pablo when he’s out

Sadly those sorts of players are rare and expensive especially in January

Hence the experiment with Roberts

I always thought Roofe could play as a number 10 but with his recent form leading the line that’d be a mistake

I know this is a bit left field but wouldn’t surprise me to see shack popped in there

He’s a clever lil fella with pace and energy.

Other Woody

I totally agree with your sentiment regarding Roofe as a number 10.

Watching him last season I could see he was being played out on both sides of the park and looking remarkably comfortable in tgose areas. if we hadn't had Saiz I would have thought he would have played there too

however, this year he has become talismanic as a No9 and so with Saiz leaving we don't have the chance to move him back there at this time.

Certainly he would offer a bigger threat in the box than Saiz ever did. Perhaps when Bamford is fit we could try Roofe as a more mobile and determined number 10.

Think Shacks could do a job at 10 Other.

Great posts lads. Lots of ideas. Flexibility is Bielsas key word. At times you have players all over the place but in a controlled manner if that makes sense. You can shake this group of players up and use them in lots of different positions. That’s what Bielsa does so well.
