I hear that the Boss is unhappy with the players travelling to Aussie. Recons they will get tidied from the long flight, yeah right. Bloody hard stuff travelling businesses class, not. Stick them in cattle class and maybe the might.

I actually do agree with him on this and posted it before. To me it’s a distraction, not just the travelling, but the promotional work. Can’t see it providing the same training value as 10 days at Thorpe arch. Also don’t think it’s fair on the fans! Decision made worse by having the final friendly in Sardinia and not Elland Road. It’s centenary year and the final game, very accessible to kids and families before the season kicks off, is in. Italy. Not a good idea! It’s a disgrace, hey I like this moaning stuff! I think I should do it more often!

I understand Biesla's concern. It's a long period of time with professional athletes being sat. And the time difference causes havoc both there and on the return. However, these players are doing the same as Man Utd. I can only imagine how such an exclusive trip will set up the minds of those players. Show them how elite they are. Bond them more than a week in Austria would do. It may be an amazing moment in their journey.

Looks like not all of them will be travelling, newbies and those that were on international duty being left behind. Shame for all the fans . who have bought tickets. Agreee with Spanish last friendly should be at ER, Spurs would have been good.
