Relax, all the posters on here that said there is always one team that comes from nowhere into the play offs and thought it could be us! Its not. Its fulham! Think we will be the team that flirts with top 6 the entire season and then misses out in last week. Wait. Wasnt that last season? As my previous post two days ago. Nothing changes! Fed up and bored of it. Hate losing. Hate under achieving. We just seem time and time again to get owners with the right intentions but not the knowledge needed to come good on them.

Another good post. What's going on with you Aussie and all these excellent contributions? Dosage must be spot on finally.

{Ed001's Note - maybe he has been hacked?}

2.) 16 Jan 2018 05:51:39
Funny guys. Funny.

3.) 16 Jan 2018 07:13:11
Frustrates the life out of me Aus, we have been in similar positions to this before, notably the decent team Grayson had, last season also, with 2/3 quality signings we could really give it a good go, we have bought way too much quantity over quality, I have spent a fortune travelling to and from All the home and away games, and I will carry on doing it, I would however like us to show some ambition over the next fortnight and at least try to get the players to take us into the top 6.it's 15-16 months since we knew Taylor was going and we only just got a left back, let's hope it's not 15-16 months till we replace wood!

4.) 16 Jan 2018 13:12:23
Oh dear george and ed. 4 down. Maybe my reputation precedes me?

09 Jan 2018 01:27:04
It seems de bock might be our first, first teamer signing of the window. Its good we have bought a left back but sooo much more important to get striker. Midfielder and goal keeper. let's hope de bock is the first of the quartet. And please make 2 of the next 3 british experienced champ or ex prem performers. No more punts at cheap foreign mediocricy.

Ausman This is your best post ever!

2.) 09 Jan 2018 03:58:34
Youve made me go all unnecessary george. i'm honoured to have your approval. Just goes to show you. I, unlike most of our squad, do not settle for second rate rubbish, but continuously seek improvement!

3.) 09 Jan 2018 11:05:47
Does Mrs aus know that?

15 Dec 2017 05:10:45
Still no hint or rumour about any goalkeeper being looked at? Anybody heard any? Who realistically can we get in january? got to be able to go into first team straight away?

Ausman1

1.) 15 Dec 2017 09:14:18
Heard nowt. Bit of a worry.

2.) 15 Dec 2017 09:19:10
I'm still available ;)

3.) 15 Dec 2017 10:36:12
Alex McCarthy, u heard it here first.

4.) 15 Dec 2017 13:43:40
i don't think we will recruit in that position. Think TC is happy with the cat. If we get anyone else it would be someone with sweeper keeper ability and nobody from the UK really has that so it would be from abroad imo

5.) 15 Dec 2017 14:10:25
We will not make play offs with any of our current gk
They better recruit. Qpr were rubbish. Against a half decent team. that's 1-3 points. Change the gk ffs? !

6.) 15 Dec 2017 20:03:59
Agree that it is a very difficult position to recruit for. Possibly any Premier league reserve keepers who might fancy more playing time or a young premiership keeper who could benefit from playing or bench time? I still think the plan is for Felix to work and b the established number one but might be good to have another option in reserve. Don't agree with Aus that we can't get into the playoffs without changing keepers. Not sure that goal keeper errors are costing us games any more than other player errors. Good to see the manager and team rallying around the goalie, giving him every chance to succeed.

7.) 16 Dec 2017 11:22:42
Agree with you 100% Spanish, regarding rallying around players and team mates! I personally believe the boy Felix will come good in time!

8.) 16 Dec 2017 12:56:33
Your delusional spanish and bright. How is he going to come good. How long has he been playing goalkeeper. And he still hasn't a clue. Martyn. i'd rather you mate.

9.) 16 Dec 2017 15:28:51
Just a difference of opinion Aus! don't think we are losing games or points because of the goalkeeper. Our problem is that we have not been able to beat the teams leading the way at the top of the table and lack consistency, not the goalies vault. If he is as bad as you claim, he willl be replaces so we shall see. But he's a Leeds player wearing the shirt and I wish him all the best and hope he can prove you wrong!

10.) 16 Dec 2017 17:09:19
Great today from the lad. saves, and distribution! What did you make of his performance Aus? .

11.) 16 Dec 2017 23:19:23
Ausman1 news in says no deals been done in January, they are happy with the what we have and need not sign anyone in the window, how about that, !

12.) 17 Dec 2017 10:07:27
Im glad he had a good game. I was sorta hoping he wasnt going to have a bad game every game! I didn't seeit unfortunately.

13.) 17 Dec 2017 11:11:23
Perhaps that's the secret Aus, don't watch the games! Better for your blood pressure. I think earlier in the season when you weren't able to see the games we went on a good winning spell! Yesterday was a typical leeds nailbiter, 1-0 lead and six minutes extra time! Stay away from the tele next saturday!

14.) 18 Dec 2017 05:40:00
You may have a point there! Maybe wield knows i used to play in goal and is nervous about me watching him play?

15.) 18 Dec 2017 07:43:09
Did you go to the game on sunday, i could see 3 game saving dives that he made and all were succesful. He makes his mistakes but what he does well, he does really well. You have to give him credit. he's a professional for a reason and i'm going to struggle to see him replaced, this season at least.

16.) 18 Dec 2017 10:15:14
He is a good keeper. No different to man utds keeper when he first came to England. He's definitely improving with closing down and decision making. Great shot stopper and his distribution is top notch. He is coming good never mind will.

17.) 18 Dec 2017 14:12:20
did we play on Sunday as well Samo?

18.) 19 Dec 2017 11:25:26
Alf, It was Sunday in Australia! πŸ˜„

19.) 20 Dec 2017 04:58:50
They actually played on sat and sun in perth.

06 Nov 2017 23:23:03
Its not just individual mistakes costing us. Its things like back passes Defenders too far forward Non movement off the ball Failure to pass accurately to a team mate. Choosing to pass to a player that is closely marked abd under pressure. Midfielders too far up field and not in space. Midfielders passing again to a closely marked player. Midfielders choosing too many fancy one twos. Strikers being unable to impose themself on defense. strikers unable to work hard and run fast. The whole team being dragged out of position easily. Oh i almost forgot. Our goalkeepers. Nuff said. There is a very lot that needs fixing chaps. Not just form and luck.

Ausman1

1.) 07 Nov 2017 16:44:50
Hell of a list you got there Aussie. Got to say, a lot of it I can't argue with. I agree, it would be easier if there were just one big, enormous, problem that everyone could concentrate on however we have just the opposite. It's like the difference between having a big rat in the kitchen or 100 mice.

02 Nov 2017 23:06:16
Radz is doing absolutely great things for this club and will return us to the prem. However. I don't think he will be as patient with TC as lots seem to think. We are in a shocking run of form. Why would he let this continue towards mid bottom of the table. I would like TC to change it around but don't think he will. I think it has to do with the changing room, training and team selection. It all needs fixing. Radz will be looking for a replacement as we speak and i doubt he will give TC beyond Nov. why should he?

Ausman1

1.) 03 Nov 2017 08:58:00
well indeed - if we continue with this run we have to change something as the last 8 games have been relegation form. we are sinking like a Led Zepplin. 3 more games for me to turn it around.

2.) 03 Nov 2017 10:01:06
Completely agree, 3 more and if they're all defeats its bye bye. 3 wins and its slump over and back to business, and anywhere between 4-7 points and ill be a little happier. Radz told him play offs, we are not in the play offs, if we are not by christmas, you can say bye bye to TC. I used to be passionate about him and really have a positive menality, but recently his inability to change things (other than bristol) has cost us. sort it out TC

3.) 03 Nov 2017 10:04:38
Good point samo. Forgot about the one better than last year promise.

Again, as in the summer. There are opportunities to buy the players that are experienced in english football and at a not over the top price and are just what we need AND as in summer we are going for a lot of cheaper never heard of them foreign options. Worrying times. Bit of a concern when our foreign men at the top haven't yet figured out their mistakes.

Ausman1

1.) 11 Jan 2018 07:39:46
I did think Aus that when we sold wood for 15mil, we would be willing to spend 5-6 mil on his replacement, if we don't want to spend then loaning a player like Danny ings would be a great addition (if ings would consider it) .

07 Jan 2018 23:33:26
Morning all didn't see the game. Just as well. It seems we are all uniting on several points. If the players given their chance to shine last night didn't take it, then we shouldn't keep them. Most of them don't get too much league time, so should have been chomping at the bit to prove themselves. Klich, lassoga, grot, bcj, cblicki, anita, should all be moved on or back to where they come from. Also bit concerned about building for the future. If current crop are anything to go by, who says what we have bought for the future are any better. Lots of players come through top teams academies and then end up in lower leagues etc. shame about saiz getting sent off. We will miss him badly and will struggle for next 3-6 games. Finally. Nice guy tc. And i think he has done his best. But his best is not and will not be good enough to get top 6 finish this year. Radz has a lot of hard decisions to make. Starting with shipping tc out and having a good look at orta too. Without three solid buys now, we are mid table finish.

1.) 08 Jan 2018 00:02:22
Ausman fully behind you with this post should have gone a long time ago.

2.) 08 Jan 2018 07:18:00
TC needs to show his ability to command players, personally really like him but don't think he has stepped up enough in an individual man management process. The only difference i see in the way that this whole team plays from monks transformation last year is that he has brought in a bit more flair to our wingers. With all the signings made, i am finally in agreement with all of those doubters, on the whole recruitment has been poor. First of all, Polands midfield must be shite, secondly, signing some knock off skinny ibrahimovic who is yet to find the net is pathetic, cheap david silva will soon be on his way to watford or wolves or newcastle, lumpa get out of my club i don't pay to watch your horror shows. You all know i'm forever an optimist, but if you cannot beat a league 2 outfit which were beaten 5-1 by the same team in august, 2 things come to mind. 1 - you deserve to be league 2 or lower, secondly, you're lazy and could not be arsed to show that you want to take your opportunities seriously. If i was a jack clarke sat on that bench yesterday seeing 2 strikers who could not care less, and not being given an opportunity in a game which does not matter, i'd be seriously doubting the managers faith. 1 week in and we've signed a finnish youth team CB, and have a midfielder we already knew about. If you can field 11 winners by the end of the year and go into next season with the same 11, with the same goal, its something to work from. Right now i see 6 winners in our team and 7 players eager for greater things. The 5 being phillips, vieira, berardi, pontus and ayling. If you think there are more than this i'd like to know who, but this is the bare minimum, interesting that these same 6 were the core under monk last year too. The seventh who is destined for greater than this current mediocre team is obviously saiz, i'm waiting for the day the transfer request is handed in. MOT boys we should never turn on our players but when they turn on you and cannot be arsed to do what they're paid for i think that's called getting the sack.

3.) 08 Jan 2018 07:41:43
Flair from the wingers? . I must have missed that! . what games are you watching, the wingers are useless

4.) 08 Jan 2018 11:17:35
nto yesterday in particular but alioski and hernandez have stepped up. sacko is league 1, cibicki isn't good enough, agreed. Ekuban, roofe, lassoga is what we have to work with up front, IMO, embarrasing. chris martin or prijovic please.

03 Jan 2018 23:33:02
Gotta say. don't really know why left back is getting so much attention. If ayling out he can cover at right but there are more pressing positions needing attention. Left back would be about 5th on my list. Obviously i'm a berahdi fan but really don't see that he let's us down more than wield, kane, phillips, alioski, lassoga etc etc.

Ausman1

1.) 04 Jan 2018 06:41:22
striker is far more important and berardi goes unnoticed unless he plays exceptionally well or poor, agreed aus

2.) 04 Jan 2018 09:33:03
Leeds will not go up with Beradi at left back, they need a better left back than beradi. as said by Beradi even he admitted he is not good enough at left back, we need striker more but think left back is more important than keeper imo.

3.) 04 Jan 2018 10:00:49
Disagree mw. Agree he said that and we need a taylor replacement. Wield replacement. Mdfielder and striker all more important. In fact. Saiz. Ayling. Pontus. Viera. And berahdi would be my first names on the sheet every week.

4.) 04 Jan 2018 11:32:04
just quoting what the commentator said last game. I think he has improved but if I was manager I would of seen a left back no1 prority. Merdith from Bradford went to millwall for free and they all rave about how great he is, not getting him for free was such a big mistake. As I may of said before (can't remember maybe I didn't) he not even close to being our best right back why on earth would be then be the answer playing out of position?

5.) 04 Jan 2018 16:11:26
Berardi should be chasing Ayling for the RB slot. How about a longer trial of Dallas at LB?

6.) 04 Jan 2018 17:27:02
I think that is what I would do Leodis have a crack with Dallas at LB he has all the attributes and plays as wing back at international level (and plays well there)

03 Jan 2018 05:46:33
Can we take it that if we don't get 2-3 of the following then tc and orta don't know what they need to succeed! A goalkeeper A left back. Not a priority. A championship or prem experienced midfield general like batty! A chamionship or prem experienced out and out scorer. I personally think we have width but nothing wrong with adding a run at you winger.

Ausman1

1.) 03 Jan 2018 08:06:56
Yes I would certainly do a job in the middle. The wife calls me the general. Anyway. ! MOT. πŸ‘πŸ˜ƒβš½οΈ

2.) 03 Jan 2018 10:08:52
Obviously snake venom agrees with you Ausman. I concur with you whole heartedly.

3.) 03 Jan 2018 10:26:27
Batty types are a very rare breed maybe you know of one hidden in the outback

4.) 03 Jan 2018 12:58:09
Perhaps getting Clayton back would be a good idea

5.) 03 Jan 2018 14:52:57
Spot on Yebo

02 Jan 2018 06:13:56
Im back. In hospital new years day and night cause of snake bite. But i'm okπŸ‘ Saw the game this morning. Diff one to judge. Forest gave it a go but were rubbish. Wield looked better to me. Couple decent stops although could have caught a couple he blocked. Hope ayling out too long. Really think our defense is ok. Good tackle cooper. As said below. Think viera got to start. Phillips and kane not doing it for me. Another get stuck in midfielder general needed. Alioski was poor and needs resting. Hern had a bad day! Saiz was brilliant. Roofe does get bullied off the ball a lot and tries to take too many touches. Lassonga isn't really good enough or fit enough so why bring him on at half time is strange. Sacko should have come on. So. We do need to strengthen in jan. We all know that. Oleary in the stands i saw. Is radz got plan b waiting. Think the football tc tries to play is too pretty and lightweight for this league. don't think he will learn now. Think he has done his best and proved wanting.

Ausman1

1.) 02 Jan 2018 08:24:16
hopefully not O'Leary he couldn't do it with a great team let alone an average one, think I would rather have snakebite

2.) 02 Jan 2018 08:56:06
Would snakebite effect your brain and rational thinking in any way ? Only joking, good post Aus . Get well soon !

3.) 02 Jan 2018 10:38:32
Jeez aus, how much snakebite did you drink? 😜 We needed to move the ball a lot quicker Saiz ( and he's a superb player) does need to pull the trigger more We took bad options in good situations Should have won, could have lost Need a bit of pace out wide. At home we still want to counter and seem a bit stuck when we can't For me, saiz or Hernandez at home, not both. Need more of a threat outside Also, they looked a bit frustrated with the officials. Reminded me of last season when the wheels fell off. Couple of new faces about the place may be required

4.) 02 Jan 2018 11:47:47
Is that Stella and cider mixed aus?

We have to be smart. We have to realise that we spent 3 on roofe and he is good for 10-15 a season. To get 15-20+ we will need to spend $5-$10 mill. We got shtloads for taylor and wood and i'm hoping orta hasn't spent the lot. We will need to spend $15 mill this window to get up. Spent wisely it will come back 1000 fold. Wisely. No foreign rubbish.
