12 epl teams chasing kp and the other 10 keeping tabs on Berardi.
Thoughts BW?

Aus My first thought is to inform the PL and their CEO Mr Scudamore that his league membership has expanded by 10% without his knowledge consent or announcement being made.

2.) 01 Oct 2018 14:40:47
Since when has simple arithmetic ever stood in the way of Aus posting?

3.) 01 Oct 2018 14:58:55
That's good George. Had to re-read to get what you meant. Nice one.

4.) 01 Oct 2018 16:11:51
Stafford Could not agree more. I must say I find our views most similar. Nice to meet someone of a like mind.

5.) 01 Oct 2018 16:12:16
Thank you 🇨🇦😊.

6.) 01 Oct 2018 19:02:22
Why thank you young George :)

7.) 02 Oct 2018 21:02:55
Aus my honest thoughts are the same jounralist who made this post didn't count the wrong amount of teams but just looking in the wrong league

it was 22 teams but not totenham hotspurs and arsenal but thorton heath and averaly.

Kp is a prem league passer but league one mobility, league one tackling and league one pace. he has no chance of playing prem football.

i have to say i think MB's tatcis make the worst of KP's skill sets and don't do him any favours. maybe prem scouts disagree and i hope they do.

Welcome from honkers.
So pleased to touch down and get wifi and see the result. Happy for Roberts. Happy for Bielsa and team.
What we are proving is that we are very very hard to score against regardless who our back 4 is and that is so important. We defend with our lives this year. It's not always good to watch and we look desperate at times but this season so far it is working.
Birsla brilliance seems to have convinced team to do exactly as he says and believe in him. And it's working.

Great start to the season and from what I've seen we can win ugly too and not lose games we should have got something out.
We will eventually lose but I don't think we will lose many simply cause the genius has a whole club and it's fans believing in him.
Long live the king.

Enjoy Hong Kong Aus, if you are still there on sat should be able to watch the Birmingham game.

You are right about the attitude to defending, hearts in mouth sometimes but our fluidity in attack always gives us a chance of scoring.

It’s just such a wonderful feeling to be around something so positive and exciting. Next stop, a bursting at the seams full house against Birmingham!

14 Sep 2018 00:05:53
Not an ideal situation with players out but a chance for a few to shine.
I think Harrison is showing signs of being a key player for us.
Will need 11 players on the pitch against the wall and all of them to do their role well.
Suspect a draw but hope for a win.
Speed can undo them.

1.) 14 Sep 2018 23:34:42
Worth noting that this is not the same Milwall we came unstuck against last year. We have the second best goals against in the comp and Milwall are leaking like a sieve. Even without our frontrunners I think I believe can take this.

2.) 15 Sep 2018 18:58:33
Kiwis we had trouble finding that sieve.

3.) 15 Sep 2018 21:59:07
It did seem somewhat clogged Whiteman. Glad for the point in the end. I feel it wouldn't have been forthcoming last year.

4.) 15 Sep 2018 22:31:05
Kiwileeds agreed mate let’s hope they find it next time round.

25 Jul 2018 00:06:13
The problem with loan players is they don't always play to their potential and have not the conitement. We may get 3-4 Prem loan players last minute. But they will take 3-4 weeks to bed in and in this league. That's about 5-6 defeats.

Ausman1

1.) 25 Jul 2018 03:33:50
Not really. Some of our best players have been loanees over the last few seasons - unfortunately we never secured them on a permanent 😬.

2.) 25 Jul 2018 09:29:52
I hope you don't mean grimes peacock.

3.) 25 Jul 2018 12:04:25
Bartley for example. if you go back through the years . then we have had some gems. as well as some lame ducks🤔😂👍.

4.) 25 Jul 2018 16:50:49
The big trouble with the good loans is that they turn to carp if we sign them.

15 May 2018 01:18:02
$3.1mill? Mbakugu deal done they say. Bargain? 😃

Ausman1

1.) 15 May 2018 07:09:41
Carpi will be laughing there socks off

2.) 15 May 2018 07:09:57
Taxi for orta

3.) 15 May 2018 07:32:19
Capri might be Martyn, but we aren't.

4.) 15 May 2018 08:39:57
Expect more if the same LUFCfev it's going to be a rollercoaster ride this summer. Feels like groundhog day

5.) 15 May 2018 09:11:42
Too right about Groundhog Day ffs. When will they learn. Utter morons. Could of picked up a free agent and paid him $50k a week.

6.) 15 May 2018 09:32:39
I understand everyone's thoughts, and tend to agree to be honest, but it's not the lads fault, so let's give him a chance before destroying him, and support him. Not many had heard much of Lucas when we signed him either.

7.) 15 May 2018 09:39:43
Or wilekdward. Inspired that was.

8.) 15 May 2018 13:57:45
might turn out to be the new Yeboah

9.) 15 May 2018 16:52:55
I think Aussie should have used a much bigger question mark altho I hear what your saying Brighty. Lets's reseRve judgment it's just his CV doesn't look too clever.

10.) 15 May 2018 17:32:59
Or the new ekuban alf

11.) 15 May 2018 22:21:53
Exactly Martyn, and Alf. we just don't know til we see 'em

12.) 16 May 2018 12:46:59
We can guess though bright. Let’s be honest mate. What are the odds of him being a Yeboah with Orta scouting?

Optus stadium in Perth.
Leeds v man utd.
Coming over boys?

1.) 17 Nov 2018 12:27:06
Would love to Aus, negotiations to start with the Missus!

2.) 17 Nov 2018 13:57:20
Leedsrumours on tour? How much to hire an airbus?

3.) 17 Nov 2018 14:07:45
Hopefully it will be championship v premier league. after we get promotion 😉.

4.) 17 Nov 2018 20:06:37
Whoever goes should meet up with Ausman and provide him with a season supply of meds courtesy of the NHS.

5.) 17 Nov 2018 21:24:15
I couldn’t believe the news at first! Hope it turns out to be true! More details on weds! Incredible, would love to go!

6.) 17 Nov 2018 23:54:13
Playing Wanderers at opening of Parramatta new stadium in Sydney as well. Looks like I’m going to Perth also. I couldn’t believe what I was reading Ausman.

7.) 18 Nov 2018 10:11:35
Not sure how Man U. will get through customs. They are pretty strict on life forms that can have a negative effect on their environment.

8.) 18 Nov 2018 21:32:43
Bige That's why the game is in Australia remember!

15 Nov 2018 11:17:00
Bored. Ok. Let's think of the great games over the years.
7-0 against Southampton was enjoyable. A masterclass of attacking football.

Ausman1

1.) 15 Nov 2018 11:49:35
4_3 against liverpool.

2.) 15 Nov 2018 12:39:32
That was my second choice Martyn. A corker Martyn.

3.) 15 Nov 2018 13:47:34
6-1 against the wendies in our title winning season. Gordon Watson, the diving git!

4.) 15 Nov 2018 14:15:53
1995 Leeds 3 Man Utd 1
Leeds 1 Liverpool 0 (Yeboah with THAT strike)

5.) 15 Nov 2018 19:04:23
I watched all these games a European cup semi in Barcelona and final in Paris. But the match that left me euforic and drained was the final game of the season when we got promoted. Oh and the 5 1 win against man u.

6.) 15 Nov 2018 19:08:48
The 1 - 1 draw at Barcelona in the 75 Semi-final second leg when down to 10 men was a brilliant performance. Plus the 4 - 3 against Derby after being 3 down wasn't bad either! Plus many many others.

7.) 15 Nov 2018 20:24:07
the 5 - 1 against manyoo, which, I think, was round about the 7 - 0 against Saints. Also the 3 - 1 against manyoo on, IIRC, on Christmas Eve? a few years ago …. and just for good measure, League 1 Leeds winning at the comedy playhouse :) :)

11 Nov 2018 10:31:33
Just seen the game.
They were the better team but not 4-1 better.
Things I noticed.
Goalkeeper needs dropping.
Too many passes without a reason and end result.
Gave ball away too often.
Not enough quality. Will need minimum $5mill defender and $10m striker in jan.
our finishing is woeful.
Bielsa needs telling that we need more players. His a manager. Not the owner. Tell him.

Ausman1

1.) 11 Nov 2018 11:24:31
January will be crucial, yes we will hopefully have some injured players back, but I agree, quality additions are vital.

2.) 11 Nov 2018 11:39:31
I thought they were 4-1 better, more quality and a better game plan. But not sure how many other teams on the league can do that to us. We could have minimized the defeat but just not the Bielsa way.

If we get up this year, it’s going to be about maximizing the talent we have through teamwork, motivation and clever use of the squad. We will get 1/ 2 new players in Jan, if the right ones are available, if not it will be this squad and the Jan returners.

If we do get up or even if we don’t it’s the summer window that is going to determine our future for the next few years, together with how many of the under 23s can really make it. You don’t turn last years squad into one that can survive in the premiership

I hope that Bielsa stays with the project, it’s exciting and he is genuinely learning about what works and what doesn’t in English championship football.

At the end of the year, it won’t be the West Brom away defeat that stops us getting promoted it’ll be the Birmingham, Blackburn type defeats and not finding a way to turn draws into a 1 goal win.

3.) 11 Nov 2018 12:11:29
We didn't create much during the first half even though we had the greater amount of possession. They looked stronger and more dangerous than us and we hardly troubled their keeper. Both Harvey Barnes and Matt Philips looked threatening and both scored. Listening to some of their fans at half time they were moaning that Leeds had weathered the storm and expected us to push on during the second half, even heard several of them shagging their own manager saying he wasn't a proper manager and had probably taken their teams far as he could. Reminded me of how fickle we are as fans because he was a hero at the end of the match. Do have to say that against WBA we did look a small team that could do with some height.

4.) 11 Nov 2018 12:20:22
totally agree Spanish, imo you're up there with Notts in your reading of situations and common sense posts MOT.

5.) 11 Nov 2018 12:36:49
Slagging their manager, don't get excited boys!

6.) 11 Nov 2018 13:33:45
I was going to say, shagging him is going to far!

7.) 11 Nov 2018 13:34:29
Three of their goals were lucky rebounds or fouls or goalie errors.
They were better. But not 4-1 better.
They played their cup final well.
We were prob too pigheaded and expected to win.
We lost it. They didn’t thrash us.
I know it’s all part of a game but
Refer to my prev post about goalkeeper and passing and finishing.

8.) 11 Nov 2018 14:03:00
No strength in depth. exactly what I've said since the start of the season.
Have a look at the bench from yesterday. and we fell apart!
This is not about blooding youngsters. It's about players who have experience and "done it ". How many players on the team let alone the bench have won anything?
We need 5 experienced guys in or watch the slide down the table over winter.
Bielsa is a brill coach, period! Look what he's working with from last year and the couple of players who have made a difference.
By the way, NONE of us on this forum have any say what goes on. I never see the likes of Radz or Orta on here.

10 Nov 2018 13:41:03
God. How bad are Cardiff and Brighton.
We'd thump them both.

Ausman1

09 Nov 2018 10:26:51
Real tough one to call this weekend.
I'm presuming Bielsa will start with same team as last week but they have a few key players back.
It smacks at being an end to end gung ho game with plenty of chances.
If we are on our game I think we should win. I know we will score a few, it just depends how well our defence stands up and Limits the corners and set pieces.
1 - 3 I reckon. Or there or there about. Maybe 2-3 or 1-2. I think the right hand number will be greater than the left!

Ausman1

1.) 09 Nov 2018 12:44:56
Dwight Gayle always worries me, but I am going 2-3.

2.) 09 Nov 2018 13:26:23
He just never seems to get it right against us. Always worries me. But.

3.) 09 Nov 2018 13:52:00
This league always has unexpected . Us to win to nil, with plenty of goals.

4.) 09 Nov 2018 16:11:53
I worry about this game, if they have their three players back and they are match ready, they will probably give us more attacking challenge that we have faced so far, a real test for our defense and particularly Dallas if we assume he starts. In any game this season, this is the one where I thought we would concede a few goals. They will come at us with pace and a threat and their attacking style will make it harder for us to get the high level of possession that we have been used to, which has also helped our defense.

Given that we have conceded 2 goals to Birmingham and Blackburn and they have a B in their name! Seriously I think we will need to score at least 2 to draw and three to win!

Probably be a nil-nil!

5.) 09 Nov 2018 18:16:18
Dwight Gayle usually scores against us, just our luck he is back and ready to play.

6.) 10 Nov 2018 13:32:08
Bloody Rotherham didn't score against us, and they got a "B" in their name ;)

Snap him up. Love players from lower leagues. There’s A geezer from the afl footie league over here Never played soccer before but he likes pies and can do a killer Yorkshire accent. Baffled why Orta hasn’t spotted him.

You got to give the manager that gets u promoted a chance. It would be silly and demoralising to the players to just sack him.
And whose to say new manager will not be worse.

1 and 3 for me Spanish.
Izzy on his way for more assists.
And if we improve our strike ration we should score about 6 a game with the amount of chances we make.
