I have never taken to shelvy as a player but he has qualities and could be good at this level in our team with a lot of the ball…. Like Natalie imburligha I’m torn.

Don’t think Steve Cooper was to happy with his attitude in the dressing room etc towards the end of last season. He’s got it in him, can be magical but too much trouble and Leeds don’t need anymore troubles.

I think he would be decent at this level. It seems he’s been around for ever, but he still only 31.

If he comes and his attitude is good, he can definitely pass a ball; I would take him as he has a lot of experience which would be good for Gray and Greenwood. He also can score a goal.

I sure plenty around here will chub on, but the end of the day, we’re going to struggle to attract anyone already in the EPL (unless they’re not getting a game, e. g. like Shelvey) or EPL bound (which is anyone decent in the Championship) . We don’t have the money or the pulling power; simple.
